About: For the last thirty five years, I have cared for my own dogs. I have looked after them from a young puppy at eight weeks old through to our old timers, one of whom went blind and needed that extra love and time. I have a large, secure garden for my beautiful Springer Spaniel. He is extremely friendly with everyone, including children. I'm at home every day which makes life easier, especially for any dog who may experience separation anxiety. I believe that dogs are precious beings and deserve care and attention when they go on their holidays as well 😊 Happy to host all age of dogs. I'm a retired so at home for good chunks of the day. Having had a number of dogs, we are well versed in dog needs and care. I have a large secure garden where the dogs can wander around in safety. My home is big enough to accommodate a couple of extra dogs.

About: Took care of cats, dogs and homes with Rover :) I’m having a good experience so far. Dogs breeds I cared for: cane corso, cockapoo, pug, Labrador, lurched, labradoodle, Pomeranian, border collie, dachshund, German shepherd, cocker spaniel, etc. I am working a 8-4 job. I am working in the office Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am working from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. I could work from your home if you want me to stay the whole day (on Wednesdays and Fridays) or come right before and/or after work and even spend the night there if you want. I can feed your pets, take them out for walks, cuddle them (obviously) and wash them or anything else you want me to do :) I can spend the night over too.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments and have grown up around a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses and donkeys, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I have a BSc (Hons) in Bioveterinary Science, giving me a strong understanding of animal health, welfare and behaviour and I am currently studying a Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition. My Master’s degree is studied online and part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule alongside my studies. I’m able to plan my study time around bookings, meaning I can give each pet the time, attention and care they need without it interfering with my studies. I’m organised and responsible with my time, and I enjoy having the flexibility to make pet care a regular part of my day. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I always prioritise their safety, comfort and individual routine. I take the time to understand their usual feeding, exercise, medication and daily routine, as well as any specific behaviours or needs. I keep the home secure, follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets have access to fresh water and a safe, comfortable environment. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own, keeping things clean and tidy and making sure doors, gates and windows are secure before I leave. I’ll also keep owners updated during visits (with lots of pictures of your pet too!) and let them know straight away if I have any concerns about their pet.

I have a miniature Jack Russell called Floyd and love spending time with and walking other dogs, often dog sitting for friends and family. I have my own pets: a cat (distant but loving 9yo British Shorthair) and a dog (very friendly and food obsessed 6yo Japanese spitz) and appreciate the importance of having someone local you can trust when needed. I work a full time office job with work-from-home days however I do have the flexibility of scheduling lunchtime and evening playtime or walks, depending on your pet's individual needs. About: I’m Lauren, an outdoorsey freelance medical writer and experienced dog sitter living in Somerset. I love hiking, running, exploring in the campervan with my partner Kevin, and of course dogs! I grew up with two springer spaniels so I have been a dog person as long as I can remember. A few months ago I returned from a campervan trip around Europe with my partner Kevin where we met lots of friendly dogs and cats (as can be seen in my photos!), which inspired us to start dog sitting here in Somerset. We have been dog and house sitting via TrustedHousesitters for a barbet and separately for three cockers spaniels (including a crazy 6-month old), doing repeat sits for both. As a freelancer, my schedule is part-time and flexible therefore I can be flexible on timings for walks. Kevin works in-person but will join dog walks in the evening. I grew up in Axbridge so I am familiar with walking routes around Somerset. I am a home worker, working 4 days a week as a freelance medical writer. My working hours are flexible so I can be flexible on timings for dog walks I will of course follow any guidance or preferences from the owner. I will always bring the essentials for each dog and I’m happy to send photo updates and to walk in familiar areas for the dog if preferable. I will also be insured for dog walking before accepting my first client.

About: Hellooo I’m Phoebe, I’m a qualified veterinary surgeon and starting a new role which means I’ll have some days off during the week and weekend. I grew up at a child minders who also had a pet sitting service, so from a young age have looked after anything from hamsters and tortoises to large-breed dogs. I have my own dog and tortoise who I adore! As a vet, I’m comfortable with giving medications at home and following your pet’s routine as closely as possible! I have an attention to detail and am more than happy to give you regular updates and photos. I’ve been working as a vet now for 2 years and starting a new role this summer! I have my own tortoise and dog who I adore. In my new role at work my shifts are constantly changing, which means available dates are not regular. But we can have a chat about what you and your pet need and work out a plan from there! On weekdays I can possibly do drop ins before and after work for cats, so just drop me a message to check dates that aren’t available on my calendar. I believe all pets are different in terms of what they need when their pet parents are away or busy. Sometimes this is a change of environment and other times it’s home stays. Unfortunately since I am in rented accommodation I cannot provide overnight stays, but I can walk dogs and do drop ins for a variety of pets. I can also house sit during the day. Due to my own pet responsibilities, overnight house sitting is not ideal.

About: I have been working with animals since I have been 17 and I just love the way every dog is different and I enjoy going out with walks and feeding them every morning my own dogs have their own set routine in the morning I am currently not working at the moment so I have seven days a week to look after any other animals and any sort of animals I have worked in kennels before and had to stay there overnight to make sure all the animals were safe and fastened into that tense
