About: For the last thirty five years, I have cared for my own dogs. I have looked after them from a young puppy at eight weeks old through to our old timers, one of whom went blind and needed that extra love and time. I have a large, secure garden for our current two male dogs, a Labrador and a Springer Spaniel. Both are extremely friendly with everyone, including children. I'm at home every day which makes like easier, especially for any dog who may experience separation anxiety. I believe that dogs are precious beings and deserve care and attention when they go on their holidays as well 😊 Happy to host all age of dogs. I'm a retired so at home for good chunks of the day. Having got two dogs, we are well versed in dog needs and care. I have a large secure garden where the dogs can wander around in safety. My home is big enough to accommodate a couple of extra dogs.

About: I've had dogs all my life, looked after family's dogs and also neighbours dogs from a young age. It's a huge passion for me and every dog I look after will be treated as if they were my own. I don't have any experience boarding as yet but hoping to build up and turn this into a professional business for myself in the near future, completing my canine 1st aid and nvq in boarding. Have experience with senior dogs and in giving oral medication. I am currently employed part time so I will be doing this alongside my current job so availability will be limited for the time being, with the potential of it becoming a full time business for me if all goes well. I work in the mornings 8-2 various days but always free in afternoons, evenings and alternative weekends I have a high fenced garden with a high locked gate. I have a cocker spaniel called Charlie who is very chilled out and friendly towards most other dogs. He hasn't been around cats very much so unsure what he is like around them. I also have 2 very caring, animal loving sons aged 9 and 16. Charlie is walked 3 times a day, early morning, lunchtime and evening. Obviously I'm very cautious if the weather gets too hot and will only get short toilet breaks on grassy areas. I am very passionate about making your pets visit a home from home experience, lots of interesting walks, cuddles on the sofa and the occasional visit to the treat cupboard!

About: Hi there, If you are a local person in need of a dog walker or someone to take care of your furry friends, I'm more than happy to help. I have my own pets: a cat (distant but loving 9yo British Shorthair) and a dog (very friendly and food obsessed 6yo Japanese spitz) and appreciate the importance of having someone local you can trust when needed. I work a full time office job with work-from-home days however I do have the flexibility of scheduling lunchtime and evening playtime or walks, depending on your pet's individual needs. I will ask that a 'meet and greet' is arranged prior to any bookings being made. Whether it’s a short or a long walk, playtime or just quiet company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. About: Hi, I’m Leah I started offering pet care in June, and since then I’ve really enjoyed getting to know lots of lovely dogs and pets and gaining hands-on experience caring for them. While I’m still relatively new to professional pet care, I’m reliable, caring and take the responsibility of looking after someone’s pet very seriously. I grew up with and cared for my own English Bulldog, who was 10 years old when she sadly passed away last year. She was a huge part of my life and helped me realise just how much I love caring for animals. About: We’ve always had pets including, dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets, reptiles and rodents just to name a few. Because of this I absolutely adore animals and enjoy meeting each personality, we’ve taken in older animals for their last stretch on this side and rescued plenty of fiesty babies who become beautiful happy babies. My whole family just loves animals, because of this whilst I’m at university in Plymouth I thought what better way to reduce how much I miss my babies than to look after others. I’m going into my second year at Plymouth and found missing my animals was a huge adjustment so I hope this will bridge the gap for myself. For the last six years I have been looking after neighbours and friends animals when they go on holiday or have an emergency and truly enjoy spending time with them as well as looking after them. Hopefully I can do the same in Plymouth. Im currently going into my second year at university in Plymouth with a changeable but low course load. This means that I am available for plenty of time with your pet be that toilet breaks and some loving or house sitting with them or taking them on a walk when needed. I’m looking forward to exploring some new areas and I believe there’s some English heritage places I haven’t been to yet! Because I am staying in halls I am unable to care for pets in my home however I would be happy house/pet sitting when I would only have to leave for university lectures which tend to be 2 hours long (plus commuting)

About: Hi, I’m Catharine, a Lancashire lass now living in Weston-super-Mare with my partner, Tom. We’re both huge animal lovers and would love to look after your pet 🐾 We live in a detached house with a secure, fully fenced garden, and because we both work from home, your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and cuddles throughout the day. We don’t currently have pets (or children!) of our own as we’re still settling into our first home after recently moving. We’d love a pet of our own one day, but for now we’re more than happy being the people friends and family call when they need someone to look after theirs. We genuinely love having animals around the house. I’ve been animal mad for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs and cats, but my soul dog, Sandie, was extra special. He lived to the amazing age of 19 and was a huge part of my family. We had an especially close bond in his senior years when he became less mobile and relied on me a lot for comfort. Caring for him taught me so much about patience, empathy, and understanding an animal’s individual needs. I’ve done obedience training and even dog dancing with one of my previous dogs, so I’m comfortable with all sorts of personalities, routines, and energy levels. Our home is very peaceful, and we do our best to make every pet feel relaxed and safe. About: Hellooo I’m Phoebe, I’m a qualified veterinary surgeon and starting a new role which means I’ll have some days off during the week and weekend. I grew up at a child minders who also had a pet sitting service, so from a young age have looked after anything from hamsters and tortoises to large-breed dogs. I have my own dog and tortoise who I adore! As a vet, I’m comfortable with giving medications at home and following your pet’s routine as closely as possible! I have an attention to detail and am more than happy to give you regular updates and photos. I’ve been working as a vet now for 2 years and starting a new role this summer! I have my own tortoise and dog who I adore. In my new role at work my shifts are constantly changing, which means available dates are not regular. But we can have a chat about what you and your pet need and work out a plan from there! On weekdays I can possibly do drop ins before and after work for cats, so just drop me a message to check dates that aren’t available on my calendar. I believe all pets are different in terms of what they need when their pet parents are away or busy. Sometimes this is a change of environment and other times it’s home stays. Unfortunately since I am in rented accommodation I cannot provide overnight stays, but I can walk dogs and do drop ins for a variety of pets. I can also house sit during the day. Due to my own pet responsibilities, overnight house sitting is not ideal.

About: I have been working with animals since I have been 17 and I just love the way every dog is different and I enjoy going out with walks and feeding them every morning my own dogs have their own set routine in the morning I am currently not working at the moment so I have seven days a week to look after any other animals and any sort of animals I have worked in kennels before and had to stay there overnight to make sure all the animals were safe and fastened into that tense

About: I did dog behaviour in college and university. I worked with dogs for over 4 years and fixed an issues owners may have! I work with a positive reward system as dogs progress well with pleasing us. Treats and toys are my thing for dogs I never use tools that could cause potential harm if used incorrectly, I have an assistance dog of my own who is very well behaved and definitely rubs off on other dogs, she’s also a great play friend on long walks! I love to make walks enjoyable and different, including lots of mental and physical stimulation so they go home feeling tired and happy! I do work a part time job but I’m looking else where for something I enjoy a little more at the moment, I’m happy to be pretty flexible happy to take last minute bookings! I care very much about dogs and during dog sitting or walking there safety is my priority, it’s very rare I would leave them in the house on there own unless absolutely necessary but 99% of the time I’m sure even if I have to go out they can come! I always plan ahead so I know what’s going to happen and when, feeding times and routine for a dog is important so I’m happy to stick to any routine to make them feel safe and comfortable

About: I have volunteered in a dog grooming salon and dog-sat for various owners for around 6 years, as well as helping out at a local kennel walking the dogs. I also have 2 family dogs who I regularly look after. I am currently at university with optional attendance so can be very flexible and be available to the needs of the dog and their owners. I have a fenced garden and a park a short distance away for walking them. I have an enclosed lounge area which space in which they can play in. Certain dogs will also be allowed to be on the sofas and on beds.

When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I always prioritise their safety, comfort and individual routine. I take the time to understand their usual feeding, exercise, medication and daily routine, as well as any specific behaviours or needs. I keep the home secure, follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets have access to fresh water and a safe, comfortable environment. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own, keeping things clean and tidy and making sure doors, gates and windows are secure before I leave. I’ll also keep owners updated during visits (with lots of pictures of your pet too!) and let them know straight away if I have any concerns about their pet.

About: Dog walking and dog/cat sitting services offered. Your dog will get a chance to practice his/her training skills that they may have while we walk. Will also be observed when he/she is been taken care of, including basic health checks to ensure they are in a good condition to be exercised. I have always had cats in my life and I I offer a caring service that is individually suited to your pet. I have volunteered at a dog's home in San Diego working with dogs that had certain issues arising from neglect, and have also volunteered at Abbotsleigh. I have looked after many animals for friends and have always had very good feedback and recommendations. Distinction* in level 3 animal management so I am well informed on the legislative and legal aspects of pet sitting, and am in the process of applying for insurance.
