About: I grew up with four dachshunds in the family home, standard and miniature. All had very different temperaments so I’m comfortable with pets that require special attention and care, understanding their unique personalities and needs. I have experience sitting dachshunds, spaniels, Staffordshire bull terriers, boxers, American bulldog, cavapoo, cockapoo, boarder terrier, Yorkshire terrier. I do have a 7 year old boy named Benjamin who has a calm and confident nature around dogs. I also currently have a staffy pup named Flo who is just over a year old and she absolutely adores other dogs and is the biggest softy you’ll ever meet. So I can only accept looking after dogs that are happy around children and other dogs. 😊 If boarding isn’t an option for your pet I do offer house sitting. My goal is always to create a safe, happy, and comfortable space for every pet I care for, treating them as if they were my own. 🐾 Insured sitter 🙂 I work part time as a dental nurse. Giving me Tuesdays and weekends free to look after your beloved pets, providing the playtime, cuddles and attention they need. I have a 2 bedroom house that does have a medium sized back garden that is enclosed with high fencing all round. I can take your 4 legged friend out for walks in the large field or woods near by on lead (unless agreed otherwise). I do also have space for those that need a pet sitter for their smaller animals such as hamsters, rats and gerbils. If your pet has any special dietary requirements please let me know.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, starting from when I was around 10 years old. Friends, neighbours and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe and look after their dogs while they’re away or busy. I work from home full-time running my own business, which means I’m very flexible and around throughout the day. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m able to plan my schedule around walks, feeding times, play and check-ins. I provide calm, attentive care in a safe and secure environment. Because I work from home, dogs are supervised throughout the day and get plenty of interaction rather than being left alone.

About: I have a lifetime of experience in cat care and six years of dedicated rabbit care. Additionally, I have provided reliable dog walking and sitting services since I was 8 years old, Including teaching basic tricks and working on leash manners. I have some experience with exotics pets as I have worked with my local exotic pet refuge when I was younger. I am currently applying to university to study veterinary medicine. I do not have other work so am available most days unless something comes up. I treat all animals with respect and kindness showing them love and affection as if they were my own pet. I know how to discourage bad behaviour and follow the instructions clients request for example exercising the pets in a specific way or at a specific place.

About: I am able to work any day of the week and have experience with looking after both cats and dogs to a high standard and quality . I am fully flexible regarding days of the week with when I can provide my service and help care for your animals whilst you are away. I spoil my own cat and when helping to care for others animals I always ask them what they would want me to do for them and do it to the best I can .

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life, from strays to kittens, at one point we had seven ! I also have experience house sitting, baby sitting and dog sitting. I’m currently back from travelling and searching for a more permanent job so I can completely work around any schedule needed. I’m happy to cover hours during the day, walks, or overnight stays ! I only offer services currently out of my own home as we have a cat and a tortoise that would be particularly against a canine visitor ! I aim to create a secure and trusted environment so you can travel/work/holiday stress free without worrying about the pets at home :)

About: I am a final year vet student. I have grown up with a range of animals and have worked with a rescue and rehabilitation centre since I was 15. I am first aid trained and have completed relevant behaviour and training courses. I currently have a 4 year old German shepherd/ malamute cross called bonsai, a rescue cat called Marnie, a rescue chameleon (gaius), guinea pigs (marjory and Gladys) and a hamster (goose). I am happy to look after small animals and exotics. So please send me a message if this is something you’re interested in. I am currently a final year vet student. Throughout the week I am usually free before and after uni/ work but this is flexible for middle day drops in too etc. When caring for your pet I will follow your routine and care for your pets as you would -giving them lots of care. As for dog walking, I have experience walking giant/ large breeds and small breeds. This also includes caring for confident and nervous/ reactive breeds. I can send you photos and regulate updates so you can check in with pets!

About: Hello and thank you for considering me to look after your furbaby. I've been an animal lover all my life and I've been a mum to four dogs (a chihuahua, a fox terrier mix, a Scottish terrier and an American Pitbull), 2 ragdoll cats, one rabbit, one pet rat, several parrots and budgies, two turtles and 3 goldfish. I now live in Ilchester with my husband and two cats. I'm really interested in pet nutrition, wellbeing and enrichment and I love spending time with furry, feathered or scaly friends. I have experience with shy/nervous dogs as two of our family dogs were quite timid around strangers. I'm fit and active so walks are never a problem and I enjoy providing some indoor play / training exercises too for curious doggies. I'm just as happy cuddling on the couch if you have a more laid back or senior pup. I know how daunting it can be to find someone to look after my pets when we go away so I decided to offer my services to people in my area. I'm lucky to be working from home so I won't have to leave your pet for long periods of time during the day. If you need someone to look after your dog or cat while you take a much deserved holiday, I'd be happy to help. I work from home as a part time marketing manager, which makes pet sitting possible. About: I grew up in the countryside with a large menagerie of animals and then went into pet sitting. I have several regular clients who book me on repeat every year because I provide a great level of care for their pets. About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve had the joy of caring for a variety of pets—dogs, cats, puppies, elderly dogs, hamsters, and even fish! I understand that each pet has its own unique personality, needs, and quirks, and I pride myself on being attentive, patient, and adaptable. Whether it’s taking an energetic pup on long walks, cuddling with a senior dog, or making sure a curious kitten stays out of trouble, I approach every pet with love and care. You can trust me to treat your furry (or scaly!) family members as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Although I don’t have formal qualifications in dog training, I have extensive hands-on experience with animals, particularly in training both cats and dogs with consistent discipline. This has given me a deep understanding of their behaviors and training needs. I currently work a part time job in retail but I am recently working more hours to earn some extra cash. I work 40 hours a week but I am in a position to decrease this if pet sitting really takes off! Most days I will finish my work day at 6pm so I am available in the evenings after 6pm. Thursdays and Sundays are my guaranteed days off so overnight stays are absolutely doable on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Walkies and at home sitting is absolutely doable for me after a work day. I have a 2 bedroom house with a small/medium fenced garden. We have a cat and a dog in our home and our dog is 17 years old so she is being rather intensely cared for at the moment due to recently having an operation on her eye. My cat is indoor/outdoor but very much enjoys his own space and company, loves to roam in the greenery outside our house. Out the front of my house is a large field which gets used by myself and neighbours to let the furries have a run around. Both pets are fed at the same time each day and are fed together, they enjoy eating their dinners together. Padfoot (my cat) is always waiting at the door by 5pm as he knows it’s dinner time!

George is a friendly, loving dog who loves playing with other dogs, we have a fenced secure garden for them to play in, and we’re surrounded by Somerset countryside and country walks, so you can have the piece of mind that your best friend will be safe while having a great time when you’re not around. I’m flexible, reliable and most importantly I love dogs, having owned dogs all my adult life. About: I have owned cats and horses my whole life and have dog sit on Rover for around 2 years. I have received 5* reviews from all owners. I have done walking, day care and boarding for long durations and have loved providing a safe and happy environment for every dog who has stayed. Having owned cats and horses my whole life I have a good attention to detail and make sure to cater to every pets specific needs. I am a patient and kind handler and a true animal lover. My two horses are pictured in the last slide. I am currently in my final year of studying an equine degree at Hartpury University, specialising in horse behaviour and welfare. I come home to Cheddar most weekends, when I am free to look after your pets. My weekday availability varies so please message if you have any out of hours requests and I will do my best to accommodate. I’m fortunate enough to live on a quiet private lane with a secure and gated patio and a small grass garden. We are tucked away from main roads and don’t get any through traffic. When staying overnight in my house I have the option to section off parts of my house with a baby gate or leave open the whole of downstairs which is plenty enough space for a larger dog. My house is very quiet and peaceful and so if your dog prefers a quieter environment they will be more than happy. I also have heaps of cozy blankets but please feel free to bring as many of your own as you like.

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets including dogs, horses and cats my whole life. I live on a farm surrounded by 4 dogs and 4 horses and am frequently responsible for their care. I am comfortable caring for any kind of pet, including very young puppies. One of my dogs has had litters, and I am frequently called upon by owners of the litters to pet sit while they are on holidays. I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and am responsible for the majority of dog walking at home. I’m currently on summer holidays from my medical degree so I have plenty of free time all days of the week for pet care. I work every now and again for a weddings company but usually just once a week so my availability is very flexible. This also allows me to be flexible on very short notice. I have lots of experience in pet care as a foundation and will tailor this to your individual pets needs. I enjoy pets company but also am organised in a practical sense to ensure walking, feeding and cleanliness are all optimised for your pet.
