“Nicole has cared for Milo with so much compassion. Nicole made me feel at ease right from the beginning. My boy is very special to our family and he was perfectly looked after during Boarding service and Walking service. All Milo needs were met, Nicole stayed in touch at all times. So glad we found Nicole, I highly recommend her. The most important thing for me is that Milo always comes home happy.”

“Liz is a quick and reliable communicator when making arrangements to walk my young Labrador Larry. She kindly came to mine for pre-visit to meet Larry and collect the key to my flat. She followed all instructions thoroughly and all went smoothly. Would recommend.”

About: I’ve always loved dogs and all other animals. I have experience taking care of my partner’s family dogs for the past 3 and a half years. One of them was a senior jack russell terrier who was 17 years old, and recently a 10 week old bull terrier puppy. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s by Research degree at the University of Bristol. Because it is not a taught program, my schedule is very flexible and I am able to commit to almost any time in terms of availability. We can always work out what is best for you and your cats as aside from a meeting on Friday afternoons, I will be available anytime to meet your needs. I will try my best to abide by the things you have in your home. Unfortunately, I do not currently have a litter box or any cat-related things in my flat in Bristol so it would be difficult for me to have your cat over unless you are willing to bring over some of your things. In terms of your own home, I will do my best to be respectful and clean up after myself and the cats as much as possible. We can work out how you want things to be done and what you are most comfortable with ❤️ I have just recently taken care of a cat in an airbnb while visiting Dublin and it was a really smooth experience due to great communication from the cat’s owner.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs alongside all sorts of other animals, and even when I went to university in 2019 and couldn’t have pets of my own, I couldn’t let that stop me! I regularly volunteered myself to look after family and friends’ dogs (at first it was often just because I wanted an excuse to spend time with them 😂), which eventually turned into caring for other people’s pets more professionally through word of mouth. I’ve looked after lots of different dogs over the years, from Shih Tzus and Cockapoos to Great Danes, Dalmatians, Labradors, Retrievers and plenty of others. I’ve also cared for puppies, senior dogs and dogs with very different personalities and routines, so I know that there really isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to looking after them. I’m more than happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, whether that means specific feeding times, walks, medication, enrichment, bedtime routines or simply giving them lots of attention and affection. I think it’s really important that dogs feel comfortable and secure rather than having their whole routine changed while their owners are away- they already miss their pawrents enough! I’m also really interested in animal behaviour and communication and spend a lot of my free time reading, researching and watching documentaries and educational videos about animals. I love learning about why dogs behave the way they do and how they communicate, and I’m keen to learn about your dog’s individual quirks, boundaries and needs! I know leaving your dog with someone else can be stressful, so I’ll always prioritise making sure they feel safe, happy and cared for. I’m very happy to send photos and updates throughout the day and communicate as much as you’d like while you’re away! Most importantly, I just really, really love dogs. I love getting to know their individual personalities and will be very excited to meet yours! 🐶❤️ I’m very flexible with my schedule, which means I’m in a great position to prioritise your pet and fit their care around their individual routine and needs. I’m happy to structure my day around their usual feeding times, walks, toilet breaks, playtime and any other care they need rather than expecting them to fit around my schedule. I’m also available for overnight stays and can be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times where needed. As I work from home on my own projects, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention and company throughout the day while still giving them space and quiet time when they want it! I live in a quiet, pet-friendly flat with secure windows and no garden, and my home is fully bunny-proofed (which basically means everything-proofed because rabbits find a way into everything 😂). I’m very happy to have pets stay with me and can be flexible with walks and toilet breaks throughout the day. My two rabbits are kept completely separate from visiting pets unless an owner has specifically agreed otherwise. They have their own secure space, and if they need time outside of it while your pet is staying, they will be kept in a separate room. For walks, I’ll always follow your instructions around routes, length and lead use, and I’m comfortable handling dogs on lead. If a pet becomes nervous or reactive, I’ll prioritise removing them from the situation and giving them whatever space or reassurance they need. If I notice anything unusual or concerning, I’ll contact you immediately and take any necessary action, including contacting a vet if needed. When house sitting, I’m respectful, tidy and careful with other people’s homes. I’ll follow your house rules and instructions, keep doors and windows secure and leave everything as I found it. I’m also happy to take care of things like keys, alarms, post, bins and plants if needed. Before looking after any pet, I’m always happy to go through their routine, boundaries, emergency details and anything else I need to know so I can make sure they’re safe, happy and comfortable!
About: I've grown up in a family that bred jack russels and have since adopted a high energy terrier spaniel cross. I've therefore been around dogs my whole life and miss my family's dogs now that I live in Bristol. I'm not in a position to have my own dogs right now, but love helping to walk and care for dogs through Rover around my full-time job, either on weekends or on days I work from home. I work full time as a graphic designer and wfh 2 days a week so enjoy having dogs to stay for the weekend or on days I work from home (great company for me and the dogs!). I live in a two-bed maisonette near Victoria Park, which has a small secure garden out the back. I'm relaxed about dogs staying in my home and happy to match the arrangements you have in your dog's home, happily having dogs on the sofa and bed if that's what they're used to.

About: I currently work at a dog day care where we house over 30 dogs per day in an outside/inside environment where the dogs play and interacted with each other. From this i’ve learnt how to monitor dogs behaviour and reactions to certain situations or environments. I’ve had animals my whole life, Dogs, Cats, Horses, Sheep etc and i have experience with multiple breeds of dogs from Chihuahuas to Bernese mountain dogs! I’ve learnt how to train dogs from puppy’s to an elderly aged dog who just needs some help with their age. I’ve had cats throughout my life and love their quirky personality’s, I understand how some cats want their own space and how some want some gentle company! Ultimately I love dogs and cats so much and do anything I can to help them out and treat them like they deserve, I treat all animals as if they are my own! I am also fully trained in dog CPR and first aid I’m Fully available on Tuesdays to care for your pet, but on the other week days I finish my main job at 5pm so I would only be free in the evenings 5:30-10pm. I’m also free on Saturdays and Sundays to help where ever I can! I am able to safely keep your dog or cat in a safe environment at your home, Constantly keeping an eye where they are at your home and making sure there’s no way for them to hurt themselves whilst you’re not there or any areas that they have the chance to get out of, I promise to leave your home with a happy pet that has been treated how they deserve. If you would like me to take your dog to a certain area to walk i own a car harness! I’m also fully trained in dog CPR and first aid

About: Hi! We are Tom and Holly a reliable and easygoing dog lover couple based in Bristol. We have both grown up around dogs and have experience looking after a range of breeds, from energetic working dogs to more relaxed companions. We understand that every dog has their own routine and personality, so we will always take the time to get to know them properly—whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company at home. We treat every dog like they’re one of our own, and making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for is our top priority. Holly has got past experience with reactive dogs and having to use support aids such as prong collars. Dog breed experiences: Tom - Labradors, Cocker and Springer Spaniels. Holly - German shepherd, Labrador, Rottweilers, Akita, Collies, British and American Bull dogs. We are also both very active going on long walks and runs, and we are more than happy to take a high energy four legged friend with us. Since moving cities this is our first time on rover but we are looking forward to meeting your dogs and loving them just as much as you do! We both work flexible jobs, whereby we can work from home up to 3 times a week finishing at lunch time on a Friday. Allowing us to have full flexibility when it comes to looking after your dog. This means we can dog sit Thursday - Monday. With a day either side if required Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We take time to understand your dog’s routine, behaviour, and any specific needs before we start. In your home, we stick closely to their normal schedule to keep things familiar and stress-free. We’re confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including those that may be reactive or need extra care on walks. We always handle dogs safely, avoid risky situations, and keep a close eye on their behaviour. You’ll get regular updates with messages and photos, so you always know how your dog is doing. Our aim is simple: a calm, safe, and caring environment where your dog feels comfortable and well looked after.

About: I've grown up with multiple family pets including dogs, hamsters, fish and guinea pigs and now own a gorgeous kitten. I'm very used to reactive/nervous dogs (I'm close with two) and have had lots of experience with elderly dogs, puppy training, multiple cat homes and kittens. I'm the go-to pet sitter for several people and would love to help out some more fur-riends! I'm currently working part-time so I'm around most of the week for pet playtime and care. I live in a top floor flat with no garden so won't be able to host, but am readily available for lots of drop-ins and walks, and house sitting if required. During a drop-in, walk or stay, pets can expect lots of attention and warm interaction. One of my favourite things is winning a furry friend over with treats and learning what their favourite toys are.
“Amber is great - I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker. As an anxious dog he has various things that make him nervous and we do training to work with him on this. We did a meet and greet beforehand where she took care to learn about my dog’s personality and training routine. While I’m stuck at work, it’s lovely to see the photos of Bobby having fun on his walk 🐶”

“Rafaela took my poodle Otis for near daily walks during a particularly busy fortnight. She was punctual and communicated well. Otis had a good walk and was always happy and tired on his return. She took lovely photos during their walks which was great to see. Would recommend. Many thanks!”

“Josh is great, he’s totally reliable, and loving towards our golden doodle. From the daily photos Josh sent us from the walks we can see that our dog loved them. I can recommend Josh highly.”

“Friendly, charming - Benny the dog loved her instantly. I think her greater dog/puppy experience (than mine) might be very useful in training this lively pup. Lizzie managed to persuade him to come home more quickly than I ever can. Will rebook.”

A very attuned, polite and professional sitter, my dogs love to see CJ and enjoy their walks. Updates given throughout, with excellent communication before and during the booking. Highly recommended and will rebook with CJ again. CJ is very kind and courteous, my dogs (not small dogs) love CJ and welcome her every time with big waggy tails and excitement. Thanks CJ!

We were so so happy with Rocko being in Bertille's care while away! She took the time to meet him before hand and get to know him a bit, which was great because he can be a bit shy! Lots of updates and pictures from the walks which we looked forward too, couldn't recommend Bertille enough! Thanks so much :)

I can’t recommend Katie enough. She is a brilliant dog walker, totally reliable, and our dog Otis absolutely loves her. Otis is a nervous boy, and Katie was amazing with him. She has a very natural way with animals, and Otis certainly responded to that. She was also very involved in the behaviour plan he’s been given by a behaviourist, and was happy to work with us to help him feel more confident on walks. In fact I’d say she’s much more than just a normal dog walker, as she is very knowledgeable in understanding animals, and helping your pooch have the best experience possible ☺️

Tula took my dog Zia out for several walks, and she was brilliant! Communication was excellent from start to finish, she was always punctual, and Zia absolutely loved her. Every time she came back happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. What's not to like? I wouldn't hesitate to book with Tula again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog walker.

Rudi was fantastic from the beginning. So fast at replying and accommodating. Rex had the time of his life on all of his walks! The daily walk updates and photos were fantastic. He always came home happy and relaxed. Will definitely be using Rudi again in the future.
