About: I’ve always been around dogs and genuinely love spending time with them. I’m a reliable, patient and caring person who treats every dog as if they were my own. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll or a more energetic walk, I tailor each walk to suit your dog’s needs, personality and routine. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. I’m punctual, attentive, and make sure every dog feels safe, happy and well looked after. I am also the proud owner of a Shiba Inu called Suki (you can see her posing in my pictures). I will treat your dog with the same love and care as Suki 🐕 I work full time but am able to fit walks into my lunch break & in the evenings after 4:30pm to 8pm. I am flexible. N/A - I don’t offer dog sitting services only walking. This is so I can keep active and also help those who may not be able to walk their dogs as often as they’d like.

About: My experience dates back to when I was 7 years old and my family got our dog, Paddy, and I've loved dogs ever since. I've been unable to get my own dog due to living in shared housing and work hours, so I have dog sat for friends over the years and like to think I have become a go to person! I have experience with small sausage dogs right up to large short haired pointers, and all sizes in between. I take seriously, the owners wishes of how they want their dogs to be treated, never derailing any training, and love showing dogs affection when it's wanted (though I would never push if they aren't a fan!). I like to think that I am a person that you can trust to take care of your dog and would only want you to feel confident that they are in safe hands whilst you are away. I'm available for boarding on the weekends and would make sure my weekend is clear to be fully focused on your dog. I live in a flat, but I have direct access to an outside patio/garden that is secure with a locked gate and high walls. I also live a stones throw from Victoria Park, or, can take your dog down North Street towards Greville Smyth Park. I'm happy for dogs to be on the furniture and, if anything, relish a chance to cuddle up and relax together! In terms of any mid week walks/check ins for dogs, my work days are flexible so I can fit round your needs. I work in central Bristol so can take them through Castle park to get a good walk in. I live in a flat but I have access to a garden which is fully secure with a gate and high walls. In terms of sitting in an owners home, I would be happy to work with whatever they feel comfortable with in terms of security for their dog and the home itself.
“Gabi has walked Sylvie twice so far and has done a great job! She’s communicative, professional and is clearly very interested in dogs! I’d highly recommend her if you need a reliable walker 😁”

“Belem took the time to come and meet our dog and get to know us before our family holiday. She took our young cavapoo for 11 walks in total while we were away and they bonded brilliantly. My parents really appreciated the help. Whilst away we received some regular updates and pictures which was great as she is our first dog and we all missed her. Highly recommended 😄”

“Thanks Chloe (and your housemates) for looking after Denny while we went to the theatre. It really helped make our day run smoothly. Really appreciate it, thanks again!”
About: Happily will meet you in advance to get to know you and your dog to make sure you’re comfortable for me to look after them. I've been around animals (both dog and cats) my whole life and my parent currently has a 5 year old border collie. I mentally stimulate our dog by playing with him, using his brain with the classic “find it” game, whilst physically stimulating through walks (runs for him) and lots of stick throwing! We had 2 dogs growing up that sadly passed away, one of which was a rescue dog and so I understand how you may need to act differently to make the dog feel comfortable. Ive also got experience with reactive dogs. I understand that there may be triggers so we’d discuss in advance what those triggers may be to ensure any reactions are properly managed for safety of your pet plus anyone or anything nearby. I’ve looked after many dogs ad-hoc including Manchester terriers, beagles and Schnoodles. For these occasions, I’ve stayed at the owners house and kept the house respectable. All of which felt easy in comparison to looking after a border collie! By the end of the day, the dogs are often asleep on my lap (or I sit on the floor with them if the owner doesn’t want their pet to be on furniture!), fed and happy. I’m available often on weekends and I work half days on Friday so I can come in the afternoon from 1pm. Within the week, I work 2 days in the city centre, and 3 days in Filton but have a car for easy mobility. I can go in lunch breaks or after work. My availability is open on weekends but please message as I may be more flexible than my booking availability suggests in the week. If the pet is a bit shy, I would be more cautious and go down to their level to try to bond with it. I speak to the owner to understand do’s and dont’s. And I’d use treats when best placed to celebrate positive experiences and train the dog to have good connotations with certain actions or moments. The main thing about looking after someone’s pet is that you don’t want to confuse the animal. So I would take it on walks when the owner recommends and use the lead in environments that require it (e.g. roads, if they struggle around other dogs).
“Amber is great - I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker. As an anxious dog he has various things that make him nervous and we do training to work with him on this. We did a meet and greet beforehand where she took care to learn about my dog’s personality and training routine. While I’m stuck at work, it’s lovely to see the photos of Bobby having fun on his walk 🐶”

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life, starting with my own childhood dog and extending to years of caring for family and friends' pets. I also bring professional experience from other pet-sitting platforms, where I’ve looked after dogs in the owners home for long periods. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach to pet care. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I pride myself on being a reliable and attentive companion who prioritises their comfort and safety. As a cat owner myself, I have a deep appreciation for all animals and will treat your pets with the same love and care I give my own. I look forward to meeting your furry best friend! As a freelance wedding videographer, my schedule is incredibly flexible, especially during my quieter seasons. This allows me to dedicate plenty of high-quality time to dog walking and drop-in visits. I have the freedom to work around your pet's specific routine, ensuring they get their walks and meals exactly when they are used to them. Safety and trust are my top priorities when entering a client's home. Having worked on other pet-sitting platforms, I am very respectful of your space and follow all care instructions to the letter. I ensure all doors and gates are securely locked during visits and keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior and well-being. My experience as a lifelong pet owner and current cat parent means I am naturally attentive to an animal's needs, ensuring they feel safe, calm, and loved while you are away!
“Amanda was fab! She came & met us before the day she was going to walk Mischief & asked all the right questions. She took excellent care of her on a super warm day, I felt Tiny Dog was in safe hands. Thank you!”

“Amazing!! Will definitely be using Anastasija again ❤️ she hadn’t even got through the hallways before my boy Riley was trying to sit on her lap!! He loved his walks ❤️ thank you”

About: I’ve helped take care of my friends’ dogs and always gotten along very well with them in the first go. I’d love to help walk other dogs. I'm available after 12 pm everyday. I go on regular jogs and live in a dog friendly neighbourhood, so taking your dog on a walk will be very convenient for me. I will only take dogs on walks in friendly neighbourhoods and gardens which I already have been to. I will ensure that the dog is comfortable in the location as well.
About: With a lifelong bond to dogs, having grown up with them since I was born 25 years ago, they have always been an integral part of my family. From the energetic puppy antics to the gentle companionship of seniors, I have experienced it all and cherished every moment, instilling a deep understanding and love for our lil 4-legged friends. I always prioritise love, empathy, and personalised attention for every dog in my care, and would always treat them with the same devotion as my own. I would be absolutely overjoyed to be able to spend some time with your dog! I currently have a flexible work schedule, so I can pick and choose which days I can work from home. I am also available on most weekends, so will have plenty of time to care for, cuddle and play with the pups! I have a cozy flat nestled by 2 green parks and the harbourside, which is perfect for lovely walks during the day. The street I live on is not so busy, meaning regular outings and breaks during the day are very easy!

About: I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs since I was 15 years old, as my family have always had pets. Nowadays I frequently help my family friends and neighbours if they have to go away for some time. In the past I have taken care of my dog, who had allergies all the time, he needed medication and other stuff, I also have experience in training, so would not mind to help you out with training your pet. Otherwise I would just love to meet new people and pets, and help take care of other’s little furry friends.☺️ I am a uni student, therefore I have plenty of free time between lectures and in the evenings, therefore, would gladly spend that time with someone’s pet friend ☺️ I am a very calm person and would never do anything to scare or trigger your pet, if the owner has a cage and there are instances where the pet has to go into a cage ( those times have to be listed by the owner) I can easily cage the pet. If walking the dog, it will always be on the leash, unless we are in the area, such as doggy park, allowing to unleash the animal. Doing this job, my main priority will always be my and the pets safety.
Bristol dog owners share their Rover experiences
Kerry and Matthew are both really kind and Dexter has taken to them really quickly, which is great! It was a good walk with them both for the first time although Dexter was showing off as well. Thank you both and see you again in the future, I would definitely recommend them to any owner looking for a Sitter / dog walker.

We reached out to Ben on here for Millies first 'out of the family' walk. We are so glad we did! He was on time, and was patient and accommodating with all my rambles. Ben is super calm and his experience really shows putting our minds at ease straight away, just the perfect fit for our pup. Will definitely reach out again :)

To get to know her before an overnight sit in a couple of weeks, Annie kindly joined us on one of Daisy’s walks to to learn all about Daisy’s “quirks” and have a go walking her on the lead. Annie comes across as the sweetest and loveliest person, and Daisy seemed comfortable with her immediately. Once Annie left, Daisy even kept looking back to see where she’d gone! Daisy can’t wait for her next hangout with Annie, who seems to be really understanding not just about staffies but that some dogs need a little extra time to get to know someone before their first proper sit. Thanks Annie and see you soon!

Our dogs absolutely love Catlyn! From the very first meeting, they listened to her straight away, which says a lot. She's wonderfully attentive to their needs, quick to flag any concerns, and keeps us updated with plenty of photos and videos of all the fun they're having together. We couldn't ask for better care. Thank you so much, Catlyn!

Our dog had a great time with Hayley. She has loads of experience with dogs and as she's a vet student, I knew Milly was in safe hands. Hayley came to meet Milly ahead of her first walk and Milly warmed to her straight away. Hayley kept me notified of when she should would be arriving and was on time for her walk. I'd definitely recommend her.
Zoe did a couple of walks with Baxter last week. She responded quickly and was able to accommodate a meet and greet at short notice. Zoe sent a thorough update with photos after each walk with Baxter and even managed to persuade him to go out for a short stroll on a drizzly day.
