About: I’ve always loved dogs and all other animals. I have experience taking care of my partner’s family dogs for the past 3 and a half years. One of them was a senior jack russell terrier who was 17 years old, and recently a 10 week old bull terrier puppy. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s by Research degree at the University of Bristol. Because it is not a taught program, my schedule is very flexible and I am able to commit to almost any time in terms of availability. We can always work out what is best for you and your cats as aside from a meeting on Friday afternoons, I will be available anytime to meet your needs. I will try my best to abide by the things you have in your home. Unfortunately, I do not currently have a litter box or any cat-related things in my flat in Bristol so it would be difficult for me to have your cat over unless you are willing to bring over some of your things. In terms of your own home, I will do my best to be respectful and clean up after myself and the cats as much as possible. We can work out how you want things to be done and what you are most comfortable with ❤️ I have just recently taken care of a cat in an airbnb while visiting Dublin and it was a really smooth experience due to great communication from the cat’s owner.

About: Happily will meet you in advance to get to know you and your dog to make sure you’re comfortable for me to look after them. I've been around animals (both dog and cats) my whole life and my parent currently has a 5 year old border collie. I mentally stimulate our dog by playing with him, using his brain with the classic “find it” game, whilst physically stimulating through walks (runs for him) and lots of stick throwing! We had 2 dogs growing up that sadly passed away, one of which was a rescue dog and so I understand how you may need to act differently to make the dog feel comfortable. Ive also got experience with reactive dogs. I understand that there may be triggers so we’d discuss in advance what those triggers may be to ensure any reactions are properly managed for safety of your pet plus anyone or anything nearby. I’ve looked after many dogs ad-hoc including Manchester terriers, beagles and Schnoodles. For these occasions, I’ve stayed at the owners house and kept the house respectable. All of which felt easy in comparison to looking after a border collie! By the end of the day, the dogs are often asleep on my lap (or I sit on the floor with them if the owner doesn’t want their pet to be on furniture!), fed and happy. I’m available often on weekends and I work half days on Friday so I can come in the afternoon from 1pm. Within the week, I work 2 days in the city centre, and 3 days in Filton but have a car for easy mobility. I can go in lunch breaks or after work. My availability is open on weekends but please message as I may be more flexible than my booking availability suggests in the week. If the pet is a bit shy, I would be more cautious and go down to their level to try to bond with it. I speak to the owner to understand do’s and dont’s. And I’d use treats when best placed to celebrate positive experiences and train the dog to have good connotations with certain actions or moments. The main thing about looking after someone’s pet is that you don’t want to confuse the animal. So I would take it on walks when the owner recommends and use the lead in environments that require it (e.g. roads, if they struggle around other dogs).

About: I currently work at a dog day care where we house over 30 dogs per day in an outside/inside environment where the dogs play and interacted with each other. From this i’ve learnt how to monitor dogs behaviour and reactions to certain situations or environments. I’ve had animals my whole life, Dogs, Cats, Horses, Sheep etc and i have experience with multiple breeds of dogs from Chihuahuas to Bernese mountain dogs! I’ve learnt how to train dogs from puppy’s to an elderly aged dog who just needs some help with their age. I’ve had cats throughout my life and love their quirky personality’s, I understand how some cats want their own space and how some want some gentle company! Ultimately I love dogs and cats so much and do anything I can to help them out and treat them like they deserve, I treat all animals as if they are my own! I’m Fully available on Tuesdays to care for your pet, but on the other week days I finish my main job at 5pm so I would only be free in the evenings 5:30-10pm. I’m also free on Saturdays and Sundays to help where ever I can! I am able to safely keep your dog or cat in a safe environment at your home, Constantly keeping an eye where they are at your home and making sure there’s no way for them to hurt themselves whilst you’re not there or any areas that they have the chance to get out of, I promise to leave your home with a happy pet that has been treated how they deserve. If you would like me to take your dog to a certain area to walk i own a car harness!

About: I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs since I was 15 years old, as my family have always had pets. Nowadays I frequently help my family friends and neighbours if they have to go away for some time. In the past I have taken care of my dog, who had allergies all the time, he needed medication and other stuff, I also have experience in training, so would not mind to help you out with training your pet. Otherwise I would just love to meet new people and pets, and help take care of other’s little furry friends.☺️ I am a uni student, therefore I have plenty of free time between lectures and in the evenings, therefore, would gladly spend that time with someone’s pet friend ☺️ I am a very calm person and would never do anything to scare or trigger your pet, if the owner has a cage and there are instances where the pet has to go into a cage ( those times have to be listed by the owner) I can easily cage the pet. If walking the dog, it will always be on the leash, unless we are in the area, such as doggy park, allowing to unleash the animal. Doing this job, my main priority will always be my and the pets safety.

About: Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by animals from an early age. Two of the dogs I grew up with were sisters, one of whom was deaf, which taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and adapting to each dog’s individual needs. In 2026, I spent a month volunteering at a dog shelter in rural Croatia, caring for over 100 rescue dogs alongside a fantastic team. My responsibilities included walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments, administering medication, preparing and serving meals, and ensuring their kennels were clean, warm, safe, and comfortable. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that strengthened my confidence in caring for dogs with different personalities, backgrounds, and care requirements. Alongside this, I’ve spent years looking after the pets of family and friends. Whether they’ve been away on holiday, working late, or travelling for business, I’ve been someone they trust to care for their dogs and cats. From walks and feeding to bathing, playtime, and plenty of affection, I always make it my priority to ensure every pet feels happy, relaxed, loved, and safe while their owners are away. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to get to know their routines, personalities, and individual needs. My goal is always to provide the same level of care, attention, and reassurance that I’d want for my own animals. I’m currently working in the TV industry as a freelancer, which is famous for having gaps where I am completely free in between jobs. Inbetween these jobs, and on the weekends I’d be available! I am very patient and an active woman who plays lots of sports (e.g Rugby and Football) and goes to the gym regularly so long walks are my favourite!

About: Hii my name is Yuting you can also call me Tess. I just finished my study at UoB and am working at Bristol city center. I have a beautiful white cat called Mushroom back home. She’s an adult cat that we’ve been blessed for seven years of her lovely company. I love cats for their mysterious little habits, silly moves and most of all, their trust and devotion to their human companion. I love to be silly with them and enjoy their little purrs!

N/A - I don’t offer dog sitting services only walking. This is so I can keep active and also help those who may not be able to walk their dogs as often as they’d like.

About: My family had cats growing up and I regularly look after people's dogs! I love taking dogs out for walks, I love being outside and always think having a dog gives the walks more purpose! I am responsible and will make sure they are well looked after. I will give your pets lots of love and attention. Since being on Rover I have walked dogs and looked after cats, dropping in for visits. I really miss having a cat and would love the opportunity for more cat time and cuddles! I have recently moved back to the UK after living in Vancouver for 3 years. I moved to Bristol a couple of weeks ago and am keen to meet some new dogs and cats! I have completed 6 trusted housesitter visits which I absolutely loved. Whilst I am in between jobs I have plenty of time to care for pets and go for dog walks! I always ensure there is fresh water, stick to the food schedule outlined by the owner but give treats to the pets as a reward. I am responsible so if necessary can give medicine to the pets. I always give them lots of attention! They are an easy distraction for me.
