Growing up in a house full of diverse animals, from energetic pups to unique reptiles, has taught me how to bond with all kinds of personalities and species. I understand that every pet has a distinct "voice," and I pride myself on being a patient, observant caregiver who treats every animal like a member of my own family. I offer dedicated dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight pet sitting. For High-Energy Dogs: I love hitting the trails for long, vigorous walks or runs to ensure your pup burns off that extra steam. For Seniors or Shy Pets: I’m experienced in providing gentle companionship and following specific medication or feeding schedules. Beyond Dogs: Thanks to my background, I am also very comfortable caring for cats, small mammals, and reptiles. I work full time but my job has a different schedule every month, and I've got plenty of days off during the week and some availability during work days. I get my schedule one month in advance so I can commit to long term bookings and I've always got some availability for last minute bookings. I'll take care of any pets as if they're my own. With all the care and love they'll need. I've got plenty of experience to know what they'll want to feel safe and comfortable.

About: I grew up with a Labrador, living with it for 10 years. My work and social life does not really allow me to have my own dog, but I love looking after them and can fit short term care around my other commitments. I am self employed as a legal consultant. The flexibility of this allows me to fit in dog care at various times throughout the day. I live in a secure ground floor flat. This is on a new estate with a large park with plenty of space for dog walking locally.

About: Well where do I start...My name is Carol, and live in Winterbourne with my husband and our three cats. I currently have two Bengal cats and a black cat. I have always loved all animals but have to say cats are my favourite! I have a DBS check and enhance police as I work with in children safeguarding. I have a full driving licence. As well as my three cats Gin, Juniper and Kevin. I've also had years of experience looking after, cuddling and caring for family cats :) I know how it feels to go on a holiday and the guilt you feel of leaving your bundles of fluff behind, so let me put your mind at ease and take care of them for you, keeping their routines and making sure their every need is catered for.

About: I study animal management, having completed level 2 and currently working towards my level 3 qualification. I have always been surrounded by animals growing up, I regularly look after my friends and neighbours pets when they are away. I have hands-on experience working in dog daycare setting working with large number of dogs, providing group walks (leash off and leash on walks), feeding, cleaning, enrichment activities and monitoring behaviour to ensure the best for their welfare. I’m calm and confident handling small & medium sized dogs, and I have experience working with a variety of breeds. I currently have 4 cats at home, giving me strong experience with pet care. I previously owned and cared for a Shih Tzu from a young age till her senior age, which has helped me develop a good understanding of their behaviour, needs, and daily routines. About: We've had dogs all our life. We regularly look after a mix of cockapoos and Jack Russles for our close family (Bertie, Pepper, Goose and Peggy). Would love a dog of our own but lifestyle limits the consistent commitment. Laura, she works from home at the start and tail end of the week. Sam, he is often around on the weekends and evenings. We are very active people who love walks as well as cuddles. We have a fenced garden. Wood floors and a comfy sofa! Plenty of walking routes near by including open fields (if dog is ok off lead).

About: I’ve had dogs and cats for most of my childhood and adult life and only stopped after my 11 year old Newfoundland (one in the picture) died in 2019. My little ones are a bit older now (5 & 3) and although we don’t yet want the commitment of a new dog, it would be great for me and them to look after one or maybe two from same home for a few days at a time. I work from home, so will be in to look after the dog all day, and we are close to the Frome valley walkway and Frenchay common for walks and also have a large back garden with grass and fenced all the way around. As per description, I work from home. Only think we ask is for dog to be good with children. The children are very well behaved and love dogs so we don’t want to affect that. As above, fenced in yard. Will be able to go all around downstairs (not upstairs but we have gate) in day. We will keep in Kitchen at night as it has a stone floor so any accidents can be easily cleaned. In winter we will give access to garden as much as needed (via patio door or back door), but in summer doors will be open all day for them to have access.

About: I have taken care of dogs for the last few years. We have always had dogs in our family. We lost one of our boys last year and have a 1 year old dachshund who is very sociable. He has some dachshund traits (barking) but he loves playing with other dogs, he is regularly around family dogs and goes to a dog day care one day a week too. I absolutely love dogs and would treat yours as they were mine 🐾❤️ I am currently working part time and term time only. So school holidays my schedule is fully open, during school term I can offer dog walking and boarding weds pm to Sunday. I live in a large flat with a very spacious living room and have a shared garden which only we usually use. We have lovely nearby walks and parks we especially love the local river and woods walks. I have a 1 year old friendly and very socialable sausage dog to keep your fur baby company and a 14 year old son who loves dogs as much as me :) I’m currently working part time but am able to look after your pets from weds lunchtime to Sunday. In the school holidays my calendar is completely open I live in a ground floor flat which has a communal garden around the back. We are close to beautiful walks and I was walk my dog twice a day

About: Ever since I've had a pet growing up, I've loved caring for pets. My friends and family often ask when I'm available to care for their pet or pop over to their house to give their pet company, or take our for a walk. I've looked after puppies to adult dogs. For pet care I am available during the evenings after 6pm during the week, and at the weekend from Friday evening to Sunday. I am occasionally away at the weekend or have friends or family visiting. I can discuss with you what this looks like and whether pet care is still possible. I do not have any pets at home, both of my neighbours have a dog. We have a fenced garden with two gates. If caring for pets overnight we usually have them set up and sleeping downstairs where they can access their water bowl. The doors of the house are locked at night.

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember. With a genuine love of spending time and caring for them, I grew up around my Aunt who would always have two dogs by her side. Usually a German Shepherd and a Labrador, so I am very comfortable with larger breeds and learned how important, exercise, attention and consistency is for a happy dog. I myself am a very energetic person, I enjoy people, animals and company, this is one of the many reasons I wanted to sign up to Rover. For the past two years I've been regularly looking after my friends poodle, Luna, who you may see in some of my photos. Unfortunately, my friend moved back to London a few months ago and I have found myself missing having the occasional furry friend. Caring for Luna including walking, feeding, playing with her, generally just making sure she was happy while her owner was away (As well as keeping her away from any open bins). Whether it's an energetic walk, playtime or simply keeping a dog company while their owner is out, I'm happy to adapt to their routine and needs :) I am comfortable with both small and large breeds. The largest size I'm able to walk is around Labrador or German Shepherd size and the dogs would need to be reasonably lead trained. I have a spinal condition, so very large dogs that strongly pull on the lead wouldn't be suitable for me to handle safely. I work on a rotating rota (9-5) and receive my schedule about a month in advance. So I usually know my availability several weeks ahead of time. I have two days off each week, which are usually during the week rather than weekends. On those days I'm typically available from morning through to afternoon or early evening. At the moment I've listed my main availability as Monday - Friday, as weekends tend to be busier for me. I can sometimes offer evening visits or occasional overnight stays, particularly when I have two days off in a row. Daytime care hours would roughly be between 8am-6pm dependant on how far I'm travelling. I can only offer pet sitting at the owners home. If we've already built a good relationship, I am always happy to discuss occasional flexibility where possible. When caring for pets, their safety and comfort always comes first. I will always make sure to follow any instructions left by the owner so that the pet can keep to their normal routine as much as possible. Especially if they are young. In the owners home I will ensure that their is fresh water available and they are fed according to their schedule and receive plenty of attention, playtime and exercise (where appropriate). As well as making sure that I am careful when entering and/or leaving a home, so that pets won't slip out. I am also more than happy to provide updates via photos and/or videos to the owners throughout my stay for reassurance that their pet is happy and well looked after.

About: From the age of 13 I was working at a boarding kennels taking care of a variety of breeds of dogs. I have two dogs of my own called Milo and Louie who are both Cavapoos. Milo is 4 years old and Louie is 7 months old. They love to play with one another but are also very happy for other dogs to join in :) I work from home Monday to Friday and am off Saturday and Sunday. I am available to let the dogs in and out the garden all day and am more than happy to take them on a walk on my lunch break, which is usually between 12pm - 1pm. My garden is secure and I have two cavapoos, called Louie and Milo, who love to play and sleep who will keep your dog company.
