About: Hello there! I'm Steve - a part-time writer and full-time animal lover, based in Caerleon. I've so enjoyed looking after dogs for family and friends over the years. My fiancée's parents have a lively 10 year-old JRT x Corgi, named Hector, with whom I've built a very close bond through engaging walks and gentle play. I've also enjoyed housesitting for friends with multiple pets - dogs, cats and even a house rabbit - ensuring the comfort of routine and security of affection are maintained in their absence. My own dog, Kaya, is a sweet-hearted nine year old collie x whippet who's recently joined the family. She's a sensitive soul and, like Hector, suffers with separation anxiety. As such, I understand entirely how important consistency and comfort are for anxious dogs like them. I spend much of my week working from home, so I have plenty of time to offer care and companionship to pets who need company whilst their humans are busy. I believe in showing all our canine companions calm and consistent company, whether during an enriching walk, a quiet cuddle or just a lunchtime check-in for food and water.

About: I love animals, I've had pets all my life! I take care of them with love, affection and respect. I currently have two cats, for 6 years. In my parents' house, I have two large dogs. I always take care of all my pets, doctor and take them for a walk. At the moment I only work with voluntary service so I have a quiet routine, so I can adapt my schedules to your pet's schedule. I will take care of your pet with great affection and responsibility with your goods, your house and your things. I can keep your pet company, take care of hygiene and food, in addition to take it for a walk.

About: I am an experienced and reliable pet-sitter who has always loved taking care of my own and other people's pets - I have always owned dogs. I have looked after dogs, cats and rabbits of all ages for my family and friends, so anything from pups and kittens to seniors are not a problem for me :) Playing with dogs and cats is always the best part of taking care of them, so I am completely comfortable with high and low energy pets! I also love exploring nature walks in and around Newport, and would love to bring your dog along with me! I am currently a university student and am missing my little pets so much, so I would love to walk and take care of yours, and have plenty of time to do so! I currently cannot board any pets, but I would love to walk, drop-in, or house-sit, making sure they are comfortable and well looked after. Being a university student means I have lots of time to care for and walk your pets! Even during term-time, I can adjust my schedule in order to care for the pets appropriately, and am always free to take your dogs on their favourite walks. I am happy to house-sit or drop in according to your boundaries and preferences! I am able to take care of anything from pups to senior pets, and try to adapt my schedule to the pets'. I love to know everything about the pets I take care of, like their favourite foods, toys, and activities. I love knowing the dogs' favourite routes or places for their walks, to make sure they have loads of fun and are tuckered out by home time!

About: I’ve looked after dogs since I was young, I also had my own staffy when I was 8 years old, he unfortunately passed away at the age of 13. I’ve looked after a range of dogs with a variety of personalities, I also have experience with reactive and anxious dogs 🐶. I have a huge love for dogs. I can teach basic commands. About: As well as taking care of my 7 year old Shi-poo, I’ve walked and house sat for dogs from puppies to 10+, big and small. I work full-time in local government with mostly home working and relaxed start/ finish times. I walk up to 10km everyday, so would keep your furry friend happy and active and I’d love the added company! I have a fenced garden for toilet trips and a 7 year old shi-poo to keep your dog company. Flexible on preferred sleeping arrangements, whether a crate or in a dog bed downstairs or in the bedroom.

I work shift work and so I have days free consistently to spend 1 on 1 with your loved pets. My lifestyle is very active and outdoors and so pets fit naturally in my routine and activity. Working in the emergency services has given me a calm and reassuring approach to all situations — including caring for nervous or elderly pets. When Adonis’s harness broke, Georgia even gave us another one to use, which was such a thoughtful and generous thing to do. It really shows how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. We feel completely at ease leaving Adonis in her care and wouldn’t use anybody else. About: I've taken care of animals from dogs, cats and hamsters and each animal has been very spoilt as I have a lot of love to give to these precious creatures. I'm always available 6 days a week to look after my friends or families dogs/ cats and have catered to each animals needs. I've always been an animal lover and have grown up with both cats and dogs and have bought my own cats a soon as I've moved out. I work from home which means I am flexible throughout the day and I can walk your dog whenever you need me too. No hassle no fuss. You can be assured that when your pet returns, that they will return very happy. They may return with a new toy or a few treats :) If you are enable to travel, I am willing to travel to you and walk your furry friend around your area, equally I can take them back to my area and walk them. I plan on providing for each furry friend what he or she enjoys the best. For example if your dog loves playing fetch, well do that, if your dog loves going on a run with their hooman, we'll do that, does your dog like to go for a swim? We'll do that. I'm all about putting the care, needs and safety of your dog first. I know parks can be full of bikes and scooters too but I want to assure you that I'm always aware of this as my own dog loves to bark and would possibly chase them if she were allowed so I'm always on the look out for them. I highly recommend not booking me on very hot days as I do not want burn their little paws on the hot path. I do have a portable water bowl to bring on each walk incase they get thirsty. When I walk my own dogs, I usually keep them on a short lead (whilst near roads) untill I get to the park/ field where either is safe enough to either let them off the lead or extend the lead so they have a bit more freedom. I live very close to a few vets so you never need to worry if anything were to go wrong. I have actually taken stray dogs/ my friends dogs to the vets to get seen when there was something wrong.

Throughout the day, I check in on pets, provide exercise and enrichment, and make time for cuddles and companionship, not just the basics. On a weekly basis, I stay organised with routines so everything runs smoothly. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in, it’s something I prioritise. I care for pets by following their usual routines and giving them plenty of attention, whether in my home or theirs. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get exercise, playtime, and affection, and receive any special care they need, including puppy training support or gentle senior care. My goal is to keep pets comfortable, happy, and stress free while their owners are away.

About: I’m an insured and dbs checked dog walker. I worked in a dog groomers so have experience with all breeds of dogs. I had 2 fur babies of my own until recently, sadly they are no longer with me. I believe all dogs should have the run of the house and be treated like family because they are! I’d look after your fur baby like they are my own. I currently work around the school times mostly then once school runs are done I work until evening time. This is everyday apart from weekend, where I am free to look after pets anytime. I have an enclosed garden with a high wall. I would take dogs out for walks twice a day unless otherwise requested or is is too hot. Dogs are allowed the full run of the house and can even sleep on the bed if they wish too. I believe there are part of the family so they get treated exactly like that here. Lots of cuddles, fuss and playtime are given
