Barney loved his time with Eve! She knew exactly how to connect with him to get him ready for his walk, came very prepared, asked great questions before pick-up and sent some lovely photos of Barney during their time out, checking in to provide nice updates. A fantastic dog walker and Barney's new best friend!

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs since the age of 7, I’ve always been an animal lover. I regularly take care of relatives and friends pets and have been trusted to do so from about the age of 10. I am so happy to have discovered this app, nothing makes me happier than spending time with animals and being out in nature, I find it very beneficial for my mental health. I currently have a very free and flexible schedule since finishing uni, so plenty of time to play, walk and take care of some dogs! I’ve had experience with all different breeds and sized dogs. I consider my dogs to be members of my family, so I would always treat other people’s pets as I would my own and shower them with love and attention.

About: I've lived with dogs since I was small and have lots of experience both as an owner and caring for other peoples dogs of all shapes and sizes. I work from home 4 days a week and so am around all day. Happy for early drop off and to do an evening walk before collection. I offer a warm welcome to dog and people friendly dogs in my own home and will only take one dog at a time so they will have all of my attention and find it easier to settle without needing to compete with a pack. My place is 2 minutes walk from a park, it is a terraced house with a secure back garden - I will follow the ground rules set in your own home (dogs on or off the sofa is fine with me!) I have a car with secure travel space for dogs and love to go on adventures to the hills, the beach, the woods. I will keep you up to date with your pets activities through the day. I am also an experienced house sitter and am very happy to provide care for your animal family in their own home when you are away. As well as dogs, I have experience of caring for cats, small animals (mice, rabbits, guinea pigs etc!) fish, reptiles, horses, chickens and ducks, sheep and goats. I love all animals and will treat yours with the love and care they deserve, making sure that they are happy whilst you are away :) I work from home four days a week and can provide a walk for your dog up to three times a day. I live very close to the park and the woods :) I can provide house sitting for weekends or long weekends (Friday to Monday) with longer times possible with notice. Local dog walking available morning, lunch and early evening during the week and flexible times at the weekends I have a fenced garden and access available throughout the day, dogs will be treated like a member of the family. I can do on or off lead walks and safety is first priority.

Stella was done through private adoption and I had only had her for 1 week when I met Aimee. Aimee has been amazing , when we had our meet and greet she spendt a whole hour with us during our walk. She got to know Stella very well and all her behaviours , which really put my mind to rest. During her walks with Stella she always gave updates and how well she is doing these were a joy to read. She is constantly ensuring that she has the correct information on Stella before she meets her and is genuinely interested in how the progress of Stella is going. Aimee is amazing and the perfect dog walker for Stella.

About: Hello there! I'm Steve - a part-time writer and full-time animal lover, based in Caerleon. I've so enjoyed looking after dogs for family and friends over the years. My fiancée's parents have a lively 10 year-old JRT x Corgi, named Hector, with whom I've built a very close bond through engaging walks and gentle play. I've also enjoyed housesitting for friends with multiple pets - dogs, cats and even a house rabbit - ensuring the comfort of routine and security of affection are maintained in their absence. My own dog, Kaya, is a sweet-hearted nine year old collie x whippet who's recently joined the family. She's a sensitive soul and, like Hector, suffers with separation anxiety. As such, I understand entirely how important consistency and comfort are for anxious dogs like them. I spend much of my week working from home, so I have plenty of time to offer care and companionship to pets who need company whilst their humans are busy. I believe in showing all our canine companions calm and consistent company, whether during an enriching walk, a quiet cuddle or just a lunchtime check-in for food and water.

About: Hi! I work from home fulltime and share my space with a playful, well behaved miniature poodle who loves making new furry friends. I've lived with animals my entire life from stick insects and chinchillas to rabbits and cats so I understand that every pet has unique needs, quirks, and comforts. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or calm companionship your pet needs, I offer a safe, loving, and attentive environment. Your pet will be cared for like one of my own with patience, experience, and a genuine passion for animals. I work from home most days of the week, which means your pet will have constant company and care throughout the day. My miniature poodle is a friendly, well-socialised pup who loves to play and share his toys. With a beautiful park right on our doorstep, regular walks, fresh air, and playtime are all part of our daily routine — perfect for keeping pets happy, active, and relaxed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure, fully fenced garden for safe outdoor time and a cosy, pet friendly home where they’ll be treated like part of the family. My miniature poodle, Luna, is playful, sociable, and always happy to welcome a new friend. Pets are welcome on the sofa (just like Luna!), but I’ll always follow your rules and routines to make sure your pet feels right at home

About: I’ve taken care of my friends and families pets for many years. I’m often dog walking in nature or house sitting when the owner is busy. I have become a very reliable source of pet care for many I’m close to, so I thought moving to Rover was the best way to expand that! I’m a university student who has spare weekends over the summer and would love to help out. I’m very reliant and attentive when it comes to pets which has come from the experience of looking after my relatives pets and having my own dog up until 2024 when she sadly passed. I’m very committed to the routine of your pet and will do everything I can to ensure they are happy and safe. I send frequent pictures and videos, and I’m willing to do this as much as you would like (an update every hour, or more) I look forward to meeting and caring for your animal! On weekends I am fully available to take care of your pet, and I will very rarely not accept requests. Post-July I will have much more availability and will be able to do weekdays. My availability on weekends means I am fully attentive and present for your pet so their needs will be my top priority. In your home I will focus on a clear and established routine for your pet. Whilst, also ensuring your home is locked, secure and tidy at all times. Safety is my priority during pet care so I will make sure gates are latched and hazardous items are out of reach, I will also be very mindful of the pets behaviour throughout my care to ensure they do not eat/chew anything hazardous.

About: I have had pets growing up and 14 years experience with dogs. Our dog was a very playful and excited puppy, he grew to be a very large dog so I am experienced with all sizes. I have experience with senior dogs and understand how different it is taking them for a walk compared to a younger dog with lots of energy. I currently work part time so have lots of spare time for walking and looking after dogs. This is the first period of time we haven’t had a pet in 14 years so I have all the time for other dogs now. Over the last few years I’ve also walked my friends dogs when they’ve been away and family dogs when they haven’t been able to. I care for dogs walking them, playing with them ensuring they are happy. I won’t walk dogs in extreme heat as this is not safe for them. Ensure they always have access to water

About: My passion has always been animals, and I have never spent more than a few years of my life without a pet. I have experience with most breeds of dogs, cats, kittens, fish and rabbits. I currently own a 12-year-old Labrador, and a 6-year-old cat who are keeping me company since both my children have now moved out. I have always wanted to work with animals, and this is the year that I have decided to quit my day job, and follow my dream. I have recently quit my job in order to pursue a full time pet sitting career, so I have full time availability to care for your pets! I have a fenced garden to keep your dogs safe with a friendly Labrador that gets on with any dog. I have multiple water stations around the house, with toys and snacks available on request too. I can also crate your dog if requested.

We’re so happy we found Sabrina to help us out on busy work days. She’s been walking Bako twice a week and we feel comfortable and confident that she’s well taken care of during this time. Sabrina takes the time to reach out and provide feedback on Bako’s behaviour and overall wellbeing. Communication is simple and would highly recommend her services.

Excellent dog sitter! Patrycja is such a lovely person. She was really welcoming and looked after our dog wonderfully. She took him out for a walk while he was there and sent us some great photos to reassure us. She was so understanding and flexible when we had to extend the time due to a holdup - she’s brilliant and I would recommend her highly for dog care and dog walks .
