Hello there! I'm Steve - a part-time writer and full-time animal lover, based in Caerleon. I've so enjoyed looking after dogs for family and friends over the years. My fiancée's parents have a lively 10 year-old JRT x Corgi, named Hector, with whom I've built a very close bond through engaging walks and gentle play. I've also enjoyed housesitting for friends with multiple pets - dogs, cats and even a house rabbit - ensuring the comfort of routine and security of affection are maintained in their absence. My own dog, Kaya, is a sweet-hearted nine year old collie x whippet who's recently joined the family. She's a sensitive soul and, like Hector, suffers with separation anxiety. As such, I understand entirely how important consistency and comfort are for anxious dogs like them.

Steve is reliable, always on time and communicative. He has a really nice manner with my dog and they’re clearly developing a lovely bond. Rudy always loves their walks and ready for a good nap afterwards! I’ll definitely be booking again, thanks Steve 🙂
Steve is great with our pup. This was a repeat booking. He dropped in twice on her while we where at work. We always return to a chilled and content doggo 🐾 Thank you!

Steve is a lovely guy and he was great with our pup. He met up with us prior to the first visit to meet Toffi and we were able to chat about where everything was. We've already booked him for future drop in visits.
Steve did a great job, straight away could tell he’d be a safe and caring pair of hands. I really appreciated doing a meet and greet in advance. I felt really confident leaving them together and have already booked Steve again :) I know Rudy will be really happy!
Steve looked after my fur baby exceptionally well. He is a very nice, kind and helpful man. Steve dilagently followed a rather complicated feeding and medication regime to the letter. When I got back from my break my boy was calm and happy. Steve sent me video, pictures and regular updates for which I was extremely grateful. Respected my home and kept it clean and tidy. Played and loved Dexter as if he was his own dog. Highly recommend Steve to look after your pet, I will definately be requesting he comes to look after Dexter again. Booked Steve at short notice because my original sitter cancelled due to a family grievance - Thankyou for helping me out I am extremely grateful.

Harmonogram
I spend much of my week working from home, so I have plenty of time to offer care and companionship to pets who need company whilst their humans are busy.
