She was able to help at such short notice, and even better eased my hesitation by meeting my dog a few days earlier. Ellicia helped my anxiety because my dog is 16, and has a fair few behaviours / needs that aren’t easy. She was understanding, helpful and generally sweet to my dog. She sent daily updates, which was lovely to receive, and any issues were communicated fully and set me at ease! I’d happily recommend Ellicia and would also happily get her to dog sit again! “I was a bit worried about leaving Myloe but he seemed at home at the meet and greet and when we dropped him off. Judging by the photos he seemed to enjoy himself especially with the children. However as Myloe is quite sensitive he did stress as he rarely away from at least one of us and had several accidents. Full marks to Amy who took everything in her stride and let us know how things were going. Thanks Amy for looking after him, trying to destress him and what probably felt like endless mopping up. Myloe came back happy from his holiday and we felt reassured he was being looked after well”

About: I have always loved and cared for dogs since I was a child. Myself and my husband share a love of all dogs and can't resist making a fuss of them! We have looked after others dogs for long periods and welcomed them into our home wanting them to feel loved and comfortable whilst away from their families. My experience is mainly with small/medium breeds and have two Chihuahuas myself now who are loving and friendly dogs. My youngest dog Olive is only a year old so have recent puppy experience, and my eldest dog Lola is 11 so I also have experience with more senior dogs. I am experienced at medication administration as this is something I do daily for Lola, and have experience doing this for dogs in my care also. We want any furry friend staying with us to feel relaxed, comfortable and like they are at a home-from-home whilst their humans are away. We know the importance of being able to relax and trust someone else with your companion whilst you are away and love being able to offer that to others whilst they enjoy holidays or weekends away. I currently work in a flexible role where I work from home the majority of the time. This allows me to spend time with dogs whilst working and breaks usually consist of walks around the neighbourhood and out in the garden (in the nicer weather). We are mainly available for long weekend (Fri-Mon) boarding, however with some notice we can accommodate longer boarding. We have a secure home with a front gate and fully secure enclosed back garden which is small but ideal for smaller/medium dogs to stretch their legs and bask in the sun during the warmer months. Dogs will have free roam of the downstairs area and we are happy to accommodate their routines and quirks as much as possible whilst you are away. Our youngest dog is only 1 so we live in a 'puppy proofed' environment. Having small breed dogs I am very protective and aware of extra care with safety and security so your dog can relax in our home with peace of mind that they are safe. We have a child-free home and our dogs are the centre of our world so we understand that your dog is not just a pet but a family member and would treat them as we would our own.

“Michelle was a fabulous host! When I dropped our dog Lili, she warmly welcomed us and I could instantly tell she is a true dog lover and Lili will have a great time. Michelle sent me daily updates during Lili’s stay. I cannot recommend Michelle enough. I will definitely ask Michelle to look after Lili again in the future.”
