He kept in touch with me every single day with updates and photos, which made such a difference — I always felt completely reassured that Dylan was happy and settled. When Dylan came home he was super relaxed, calm, and clearly very comfortable in Zack’s care. It genuinely felt like he’d had a proper home‑away‑from‑home experience. Dylan has quite a few quirks and can be a very strong dog who gets nervous in new situations, but Zack handled everything with real experience and confidence. He understood Dylan’s personality straight away and gave him the patience, structure, and calm environment he needs. It’s not easy to find someone who can manage a dog like Dylan so well, and I’m incredibly grateful. We can’t wait to book with Zack again — highly recommended.”

About: My first pet was a cat when i was 7 and it lived 21 years. I have always loved pets and now have a 6 year old Tibetan Terrier who is great around other dogs. I work from home so am able to give your pet company and attention. My garden is completely walled in so your dog is able to go in and out as they please. I work from home and there is always someone in to keep your pet company. I walk my dog every lunchtime and evening down the strawberry line or in the fields so they are well exercised. I have a fairly large house with a walled garden and wooden floors downstairs. I also have a friendly 4yr Tibetan terrier for company. There are dog beds and a sofa with blankets on.
“Ellie took great care of our greyhound Noodles while we were on holiday. Ellie sent us lots of photos of Noodles on walks and chilling out that made us feel very reassured about leaving him with someone new for the first time. When we took Noodles home he tried to wait on the stairs for Ellie to come too so I think it is safe to say he had a nice time! Ellie was really great about me completely misreading our flight itinerary home so us being later than planned for collection (still quite embarrassed about that one!) I'm currently at home full time ,with 2 children and I will have plenty of time to play and look after your loved one in the greatest way possible. I have my own pets: a cat (distant but loving 9yo British Shorthair) and a dog (very friendly and food obsessed 6yo Japanese spitz) and appreciate the importance of having someone local you can trust when needed. I work a full time office job with work-from-home days however I do have the flexibility of scheduling lunchtime and evening playtime or walks, depending on your pet's individual needs. I will ask that a 'meet and greet' is arranged prior to any bookings being made. Whether it’s a short or a long walk, playtime or just quiet company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Mollie did a fantastic job looking after Wilbur. He’s a young working-line Golden Retriever, so he can be quite full-on and very energetic, but she handled him really well. It was clear from the updates and photos that he felt happy and comfortable with her. :) She also kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which we really appreciated and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We’d be more than happy to have Mollie look after Wilbur again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!
We were very happy with our dogs' stay with Sarah, more importantly, the dogs were too! We were doubtful if they would want to return home rather than stay with Sarah! We think they were treated exceptionally well, a little spoilt in fact. We also really appreciated the photos and comments Sarah sent to us whilst were were away. No doubt we should want to use Sarah's services again!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
