About: Hello! My name is Olivia, and I’m a 24-year-old final year postgraduate vet student. I grew up just outside Arbroath, a small fishing village in the north of Scotland, surrounded by animals - from dogs and chickens to two farm kittens we rescued from a barn. I have lots of experience caring for a wide range of animals, both at home and abroad. This includes volunteering at a rescue centre in Costa Rica and on a game reserve in South Africa. Closer to home, I’ve regularly looked after pets for family and friends. (Full disclosure: I now stick to care rather than grooming after a childhood attempt at trimming my uncle’s spaniel’s ears left her with a very lopsided haircut!) Alongside my studies, I also work as a lifeguard, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm in emergencies and prioritise safety at all times. When visiting my family, I care for our very needy Vizsla, Scout, and our more independent and aloof rescue cat, Lunar. Through my veterinary training, I’ve also gained hands-on experience caring for animals with a variety of medical needs, including those who are unwell or require extra attention. I'm very active and enjoy running and long walks, so I’m always happy to take energetic dogs out for adventures. Equally, I enjoy quieter days painting and can provide a calm, relaxed environment for more anxious pets. I’m currently available for dog walking and pet sitting between my clinical rotations. I’m also confident administering medications, including injections, if required. I’m currently in my final year of vet school, so during breaks between rotation blocks I can dedicate my time fully to your pet. My schedule can vary, which means I’m often able to offer flexible, ad hoc bookings, including short-notice requests where availability allows. I’m very outdoorsy and enjoy running, so I’m always happy to take high-energy dogs out for longer walks or runs. I’m also happy to work around your pet’s usual routine, whether that’s early mornings, evenings, or specific feeding and medication schedules. I can provide regular updates for peace of mind while you’re away. I currently offer pet care in your home and dog walking, as I’m unable to host pets in my own home. I find that staying in a pet’s familiar environment often helps them feel more relaxed and settled while you’re away. As a final-year veterinary student, your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I’m confident recognising signs of illness or distress and can act quickly if anything seems off. I’m also experienced in administering medications, including injections, where needed. I take care to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, exercise, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m respectful of your home and will always leave it clean and secure. I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can feel reassured that your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: Hi, I’m Catharine, a Lancashire lass now living in Weston-super-Mare with my partner, Tom. We’re both huge animal lovers and would love to look after your pet 🐾 We live in a detached house with a secure, fully fenced garden, and because we both work from home, your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and cuddles throughout the day. We don’t currently have pets (or children!) of our own as we’re still settling into our first home after recently moving. We’d love a pet of our own one day, but for now we’re more than happy being the people friends and family call when they need someone to look after theirs. We genuinely love having animals around the house. I’ve been animal mad for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs and cats, but my soul dog, Sandie, was extra special. He lived to the amazing age of 19 and was a huge part of my family. We had an especially close bond in his senior years when he became less mobile and relied on me a lot for comfort. Caring for him taught me so much about patience, empathy, and understanding an animal’s individual needs. I’ve done obedience training and even dog dancing with one of my previous dogs, so I’m comfortable with all sorts of personalities, routines, and energy levels. Our home is very peaceful, and we do our best to make every pet feel relaxed and safe. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing in the garden, or snoozing on the sofa after a busy day, they’ll get plenty of love and attention while they’re with us. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I promise to care for them as if they were my own and to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well looked after from the moment they arrive. I work from home and can be quite flexible with my work. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, calm and comfortable environment where they feel part of the family. About: Hellooo I’m Phoebe, I’m a qualified veterinary surgeon and starting a new role which means I’ll have some days off during the week and weekend. I grew up at a child minders who also had a pet sitting service, so from a young age have looked after anything from hamsters and tortoises to large-breed dogs. I have my own dog and tortoise who I adore! As a vet, I’m comfortable with giving medications at home and following your pet’s routine as closely as possible! I have an attention to detail and am more than happy to give you regular updates and photos. I’ve been working as a vet now for 2 years and starting a new role this summer! I have my own tortoise and dog who I adore. In my new role at work my shifts are constantly changing, which means available dates are not regular. But we can have a chat about what you and your pet need and work out a plan from there! On weekdays I can possibly do drop ins before and after work for cats, so just drop me a message to check dates that aren’t available on my calendar. I believe all pets are different in terms of what they need when their pet parents are away or busy. Sometimes this is a change of environment and other times it’s home stays. Unfortunately since I am in rented accommodation I cannot provide overnight stays, but I can walk dogs and do drop ins for a variety of pets. I can also house sit during the day. Due to my own pet responsibilities, overnight house sitting is not ideal.

About: Since a young age both Fra and myself have cared for animals. We both had cats and dogs in our homes since birth and have looked after them with utmost care and attention. About: I have been working with animals since I have been 17 and I just love the way every dog is different and I enjoy going out with walks and feeding them every morning my own dogs have their own set routine in the morning I am currently not working at the moment so I have seven days a week to look after any other animals and any sort of animals I have worked in kennels before and had to stay there overnight to make sure all the animals were safe and fastened into that tense

About: Hi, I’m Jess, I’m 22 years old, and I’m a 4th year veterinary medicine student at Bristol University. I have a lot of experience looking after dogs of various sizes and ages - for which I am happy to provide references from. I am happy to look after any size / age / type / breed of dogs and cats (and other pets too - eg hamsters, rabbits etc), and I am confident with handling all types of animals (eg strong walkers, big dogs or energetic puppies). I will indulge your pet with lots of cuddles, walks and play time, as well as any other requirements your pet needs. I have my own dogs, cats, rabbit, Guinea pigs and horse at home so I have plenty of experience and knowledge of animal care. I am a clinical vet student so I am confident and competent at administering medications and tending to any medical needs. Most of our uni work is still online so I am able to work from home if necessary, which also gives flexibility around walks and toilet breaks! About: Being a final year vet student, I have extensive experience of taking care of dogs of all ages and various breeds. I have a great knowledge of canine behaviour, developed from first hand experience working in vet practices and from various lectures by canine behaviour specialists. This makes me the perfect person to look after your much loved pet! Additionally, I already have dog sitting experience. I have been looking after dogs my entire life and spend every day learning canine behavioural and handling techniques at university. If your dog should have any medical requirements, I am more than happy administering medications/special diets, and monitoring the overall health of your pup whilst it’s in my care! About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs growing up, and have completed a veterinary degree so am very comfortable to look after all animals no matter their needs.
