Zack looked after Dylan for 10 days and honestly went above and beyond. He kept in touch with me every single day with updates and photos, which made such a difference — I always felt completely reassured that Dylan was happy and settled. When Dylan came home he was super relaxed, calm, and clearly very comfortable in Zack’s care. It genuinely felt like he’d had a proper home‑away‑from‑home experience. Dylan has quite a few quirks and can be a very strong dog who gets nervous in new situations, but Zack handled everything with real experience and confidence. He understood Dylan’s personality straight away and gave him the patience, structure, and calm environment he needs. It’s not easy to find someone who can manage a dog like Dylan so well, and I’m incredibly grateful. We can’t wait to book with Zack again — highly recommended.

I honestly cannot praise Catherine enough. She looked after our pug, Doug, during temperatures of over 30°C, which is always a huge worry with pugs, but she was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She went above and beyond to keep him cool, comfortable, safe and happy, and it was clear from the updates that he was being cared for like one of her own. Catherine sent regular photos, messages and updates throughout his stay, which gave us complete peace of mind and meant we never had to worry. She clearly understood Doug’s needs and handled the heat better than we could have asked for. She even had a doggy pool for him to cool down in, which just shows how much thought and care she puts into looking after the dogs in her care. We have used other dog sitters before, but Catherine is on another level. The care, attention, kindness and effort she put in was outstanding. I can honestly say she is the only person I would want looking after Doug from now on. Thank you so much, Catherine. You have been amazing, and we are so grateful for everything you did for Doug.

About: !!!IMPORTANT: I’ll have bathroom renovations in July. If your dog(s) is sensitive to noises, please do not book! Thank you!:) Hi! I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 7 years old, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I moved from Hungary to the UK in October 2025, and after our dog left in December, the house has felt very empty without a pet around. Although I became an engineer, I always loved spending time with animals, and back home friends often trusted me to look after their cats while they were away. I’m calm, reliable, patient, and currently have plenty of free time for walks, visits, playtime, and giving your pets lots of attention and care. I work from home full-time, so I’m available for pet care all day long. I can easily adjust to your dog’s schedule for walks, playtime, meals, and cuddles. I’m also happy to do overnight boarding or weekend stays whenever needed. I have a fully fenced yard and a safe, pet-friendly home where your dog would spend most of the time inside with me. The house is calm and secure, and I can crate your dog if needed. Playtime is always supervised in the fenced garden.

She and her partner looked after them so lovingly and kept me updated throughout. They also managed the medication without difficulty. The dogs showed no sign of their normal anxiety at being left and are happily home again now having had a lovely holiday with their new friends. I am super grateful

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and routine. Since welcoming my rescue dog, Bonnie, into my life in 2022, I’ve gained valuable experience with reactive and anxious dogs, as well as strong lead pullers. I’ve also been looking after dogs for friends and family since my early teenage years, and since starting on Rover in September 2025, I’ve cared for a variety of dogs with different personalities and needs. This has made me confident with a wide range of temperaments, from energetic and playful, to nervous or cautious dogs who need a calmer approach. What sets me apart is the care and attention I give to every dog as an individual. I’m patient, reliable, and confident reading dog body language, which helps me adapt to their needs and make them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, reassurance, or lots of cuddles, I’ll make sure they’re happy, well cared for, and sticking to their usual routine while keeping you updated along the way. I work full-time but mostly from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility to fit pet care into my routine. I’m usually in the office just one day a week (typically a Wednesday), so I’m available anytime the remaining weekdays with the flexibility of my working hours at home. Weekends are also fairly flexible for me, and I’ll always keep my schedule up to date if anything changes. Whatever the ask, I’ll make sure your pet’s needs fit smoothly into my day so they get reliable care and attention. Please note, drop-in visits and dog walks within 5 miles of my home (Sandford, BS25) are included in my standard rates. For locations beyond 5 miles, a 50p per mile travel fee applies to the additional distance to cover my fuel which I will manually add to your booking request. For overnight house sitting requests, I currently can only accommodate 1 night sitting at a time I’m afraid. When caring for pets, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In a pet parent’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routines closely, from feeding times to walks and play, so pets feel secure and settled. I keep doors and gates safely closed, pay attention to any special needs like reactivity, and always respect the home as if it were my own. I also believe trust is built through communication, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. In my own home, I have my rescue dog Bonnie, who is friendly and playful once introduced properly but can show an excitable-anxious reactivity on first meetings with other dogs. Rest assured, Bonnie has never shown any aggression or biting behaviour towards another animals. Because of this, any dogs staying with us would need an introduction beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Once settled, Bonnie loves to play and share her space. However, I’m not able to offer care for cats in my own home, as Bonnie isn’t suited to living with them. My goal is always to create a safe, calm, and happy environment where pets feel at ease, whether I’m visiting them in their own home or welcoming them into mine.

Tracey and Simon looked after our boy Buddy for a few days while we were away. It was a last minute booking as we'd been let down by family, so we were a little nervous as first time Rover users. Tracey and Simon put us at ease immediately. They have a real passion for dogs and were super understanding of Buddy's character and background. They made sure he was safe and loved the whole time he was there. We had daily videos and photos which we loved! Most importantly, Buddy settled in like he was part of their family and absolutely loved staying with them. We won't look anywhere else now for Buddy's holidays! We've found his people and trust them 100% with our boy. Thank you Tracey and family for loving our boy and taking such great care of him.

About: Hello! My name is Olivia, and I’m a 24-year-old final year postgraduate vet student. I grew up just outside Arbroath, a small fishing village in the north of Scotland, surrounded by animals - from dogs and chickens to two farm kittens we rescued from a barn. I have lots of experience caring for a wide range of animals, both at home and abroad. This includes volunteering at a rescue centre in Costa Rica and on a game reserve in South Africa. Closer to home, I’ve regularly looked after pets for family and friends. (Full disclosure: I now stick to care rather than grooming after a childhood attempt at trimming my uncle’s spaniel’s ears left her with a very lopsided haircut!) Alongside my studies, I also work as a lifeguard, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm in emergencies and prioritise safety at all times. When visiting my family, I care for our very needy Vizsla, Scout, and our more independent and aloof rescue cat, Lunar. Through my veterinary training, I’ve also gained hands-on experience caring for animals with a variety of medical needs, including those who are unwell or require extra attention. I'm very active and enjoy running and long walks, so I’m always happy to take energetic dogs out for adventures. Equally, I enjoy quieter days painting and can provide a calm, relaxed environment for more anxious pets. I’m currently available for dog walking and pet sitting between my clinical rotations. I’m also confident administering medications, including injections, if required.

About: Hi, I’m Catharine, a Lancashire lass now living in Weston-super-Mare with my partner, Tom. We’re both huge animal lovers and would love to look after your pet 🐾 We live in a detached house with a secure, fully fenced garden, and because we both work from home, your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and cuddles throughout the day. We don’t currently have pets (or children!) of our own as we’re still settling into our first home after recently moving. We’d love a pet of our own one day, but for now we’re more than happy being the people friends and family call when they need someone to look after theirs. We genuinely love having animals around the house. I’ve been animal mad for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs and cats, but my soul dog, Sandie, was extra special. He lived to the amazing age of 19 and was a huge part of my family. We had an especially close bond in his senior years when he became less mobile and relied on me a lot for comfort. Caring for him taught me so much about patience, empathy, and understanding an animal’s individual needs. I’ve done obedience training and even dog dancing with one of my previous dogs, so I’m comfortable with all sorts of personalities, routines, and energy levels. Our home is very peaceful, and we do our best to make every pet feel relaxed and safe. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing in the garden, or snoozing on the sofa after a busy day, they’ll get plenty of love and attention while they’re with us. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I promise to care for them as if they were my own and to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well looked after from the moment they arrive. Please don’t hesitate to message me if you have questions :) I can adapt to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. I work from home and can be quite flexible with my work. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, calm and comfortable environment where they feel part of the family. We have a secure garden for supervised outdoor time, and dogs will receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime and walks throughout the day. I always follow owners’ routines and preferences to help pets feel settled and at home.

About: My first pet was a cat when i was 7 and it lived 21 years. I have always loved pets and now have a 4 year old Tibetan Terrier who is great around other dogs. A hamster and often look after neighbours dogs as well. I work from home and there is always someone in to keep your pet company. I walk my dog every lunchtime down the strawberry line or in the fields so they are well exercised. I have a fairly large house with a walled garden and wooden floors downstairs. I also have a friendly 4yr Tibetan terrier for company. There are dog beds and a sofa with blankets on.

We were a bit unsure about leaving our puppy Wilbur with someone, as he’s only 11 months and very full of energy! But Tasha was super friendly, calm, and did an amazing job with him. She sent us photos and a video, and it was clear he was having the best time. Wilbur came back happy, relaxed, and properly chilled, he even went to bed early after such an exciting day! Definitely worth the 25-minute drive, and we’d love for him to stay with Tasha again. 🐾

About: Hey there, my name is Rebecca! I'm a 27 year old vet student and pet sitter. I have lots of great experience with a variety of species through my vet training and life in general! I have been involved in both the cattery and dog shelter of the Galway SPCA. I also worked closely with small mammals, and rescued my colleagues from a loose ferret once! I discovered a love of sighthounds in particular and always really enjoy working with them. I have been casually pet sitting for the past five years, until last year when I began using another app that was popular in my area. I had several regular dog visit/ walk clients - new puppies to the more mature. I am happy to do on and off-lead walking, where appropriate and safe. I will follow instructions on whatever training you are working on with your pet. I am confident administering medication. Unfortunately, I cannot accept very strong or difficult to handle dogs due to chronic back pain. I would be keen to build a trusting relationship with any pet I care for and strive for respectful and honest communication with pet owners. I give pets my full attention and aim to leave them tuckered out but happy! I send a detailed update after my visit including some photos. I'm always careful to include any concerns. ✅ Please Note: House Sitting: I am not currently staying overnight in client’s houses. This option is suitable if you would like to have me sit with your pet during the day/evening, while at work or socialising. Please get in touch to discuss! 😊 Boarding/Day Care: I live in an apartment which has a small balcony and unfenced patio space - suitable for quick potty breaks. There are lots of easily accessible nice walks in the area for longer exercise. Walks: Available to pick up/drop off and supervise visits to local secure dog paddocks. My Uni schedule varies each week but I will aim to keep my calendar as updated as possible. I am keen to build a base of regular/semi-regular clients, having recently moved back to North Somerset. There are times when I am required on-campus 9am-5pm but I do my best to be flexible. Do get in touch if there's anything you'd like to discuss - I'm more than happy to answer any queries 😁 I am always careful entering and exiting the house to prevent any escapes. I diligently use any equipment or restraint advised by owners to keep everyone safe. I always do my best to read an animals behaviour so as not to cross their boundaries and ensure everyone is as safe and happy as possible during the visit. I welcome owner advice about individual pets as they usually know their animal best!

Joanna looked after our boxer Frankie for us - accepting the request at quite short notice when our previous sitter had dropped out unexpectedly. Arranged a meet and greet with her and her dog within a day and then she took care of Frankie for a full day. Great comms and lots of photos and videos of cuddles and play time put our minds to rest, and one tired out and happy pup when he picked him up! Will definitely look to reuse for any future day care needs.

My best friend’s are my cocker spaniel (3) called Sam, and my springier spaniel (7) called Gleann, I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember! I find walking so rewarding and relaxing, it brings me joy to get out in nature and explore the world. I’m happy to walk or look after your little pups either alongside my dogs or if you request I can walk them without. I’m currently working full time for a local sign company, working in Clevedon and I live in Weston-Super-Mare. However in a few months I’ll be moving to Yatton- not too far away! I have a medium fenced garden and have a full uk drivers license, with room for furry friends to sit for the walks if you’d prefer rather than a street walk, but I’m happy if you’re happy.

About: Hellooo I’m Phoebe, I’m a qualified veterinary surgeon and starting a new role which means I’ll have some days off during the week and weekend. I grew up at a child minders who also had a pet sitting service, so from a young age have looked after anything from hamsters and tortoises to large-breed dogs. I have my own dog and tortoise who I adore! As a vet, I’m comfortable with giving medications at home and following your pet’s routine as closely as possible! I have an attention to detail and am more than happy to give you regular updates and photos. I’ve been working as a vet now for 2 years and starting a new role this summer! I have my own tortoise and dog who I adore. In my new role at work my shifts are constantly changing, which means available dates are not regular. But we can have a chat about what you and your pet need and work out a plan from there! On weekdays I can possibly do drop ins before and after work for cats, so just drop me a message to check dates that aren’t available on my calendar. I believe all pets are different in terms of what they need when their pet parents are away or busy. Sometimes this is a change of environment and other times it’s home stays. Unfortunately since I am in rented accommodation I cannot provide overnight stays, but I can walk dogs and do drop ins for a variety of pets. I can also house sit during the day. Due to my own pet responsibilities, overnight house sitting is not ideal.

I’m currently in my final year of vet school, so during breaks between rotation blocks I can dedicate my time fully to your pet. My schedule can vary, which means I’m often able to offer flexible, ad hoc bookings, including short-notice requests where availability allows. I’m very outdoorsy and enjoy running, so I’m always happy to take high-energy dogs out for longer walks or runs. I’m also happy to work around your pet’s usual routine, whether that’s early mornings, evenings, or specific feeding and medication schedules. I can provide regular updates for peace of mind while you’re away. I currently offer pet care in your home and dog walking, as I’m unable to host pets in my own home. I find that staying in a pet’s familiar environment often helps them feel more relaxed and settled while you’re away. As a final-year veterinary student, your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I’m confident recognising signs of illness or distress and can act quickly if anything seems off. I’m also experienced in administering medications, including injections, where needed. I take care to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, exercise, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m respectful of your home and will always leave it clean and secure. I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can feel reassured that your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: Training to be a Vet which means I have looked after animals of all kinds. I have had two dogs of my own, and looked after many of my friend's and family's dogs. Currently free most days. I do split my time in two places in the country so I won't always be local. Will be willing to look after dogs overnight once I have got to know them from walking. We have an enclosed garden, but it is not technically fenced in. If the owner deems appropriate for me to let the dog in the garden lead or no lead I will stay with the dog. I normally would walk my family dog three times a day, but I am willing to do more/less walks to fit the dog's usual routine. I would love to play with the dog and their toys. If the dog is stating overnight please could we bring their dog bed with them.

About: I have looked after animals from a very young age, from little rodents, to dogs, cats and horses and donkeys. I’ve taken in rescue animals from kill centres, helped to foster animals aswell, I enjoy the outdoors, and I have specialised in senior care and disabilities, having looked after senior dogs as pets myself when they don’t want to walk so far but would like to have a little stroll. I’m currently looking at part time, as I work full time. Looking at doing drop in, and dog walking services so I’ll be available. I will treat your home like my own home, will care and attention. Your pets are my priority, I will upload walks and will keep you up to date with the services I provide.

About: Hi, I’m Jess, I’m 22 years old, and I’m a 4th year veterinary medicine student at Bristol University. I have a lot of experience looking after dogs of various sizes and ages - for which I am happy to provide references from. I am happy to look after any size / age / type / breed of dogs and cats (and other pets too - eg hamsters, rabbits etc), and I am confident with handling all types of animals (eg strong walkers, big dogs or energetic puppies). I will indulge your pet with lots of cuddles, walks and play time, as well as any other requirements your pet needs. I have my own dogs, cats, rabbit, Guinea pigs and horse at home so I have plenty of experience and knowledge of animal care. I am a clinical vet student so I am confident and competent at administering medications and tending to any medical needs. Most of our uni work is still online so I am able to work from home if necessary, which also gives flexibility around walks and toilet breaks! We have a fenced garden at home, with lots of lovely walks around the area for both on and off lead. They will receive lots of cuddles and attention. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch :)

Gracie was super helpful and flexible with a short notice emergency booking for my dogs, even going so far as to help find care for them when she was already prebooked.
