Your summer holiday sorted with me! I house sit and look after your pets while you're away. I currently work from home on my laptop Monday to Friday so it suits my schedule to have pets with me. I work remotely so can sit in your home or mine. I go for walks and love to stay active in the mornings, at lunch and in the evenings. At my house I have a lovely garden which is fenced/ walled and a gate which makes it enclosed. My house is near fields and a woods which are perfect for walks.

About: Hi, I’m Catharine, a Lancashire lass now living in Weston-super-Mare with my partner, Tom. We’re both huge animal lovers and would love to look after your pet 🐾 We live in a detached house with a secure, fully fenced garden, and because we both work from home, your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and cuddles throughout the day. We don’t currently have pets (or children!) of our own as we’re still settling into our first home after recently moving. We’d love a pet of our own one day, but for now we’re more than happy being the people friends and family call when they need someone to look after theirs. We genuinely love having animals around the house. I’ve been animal mad for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs and cats, but my soul dog, Sandie, was extra special. He lived to the amazing age of 19 and was a huge part of my family. We had an especially close bond in his senior years when he became less mobile and relied on me a lot for comfort. Caring for him taught me so much about patience, empathy, and understanding an animal’s individual needs. I’ve done obedience training and even dog dancing with one of my previous dogs, so I’m comfortable with all sorts of personalities, routines, and energy levels. Our home is very peaceful, and we do our best to make every pet feel relaxed and safe. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing in the garden, or snoozing on the sofa after a busy day, they’ll get plenty of love and attention while they’re with us. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I promise to care for them as if they were my own and to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well looked after from the moment they arrive. Please don’t hesitate to message me if you have questions :) I can adapt to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. I work from home and can be quite flexible with my work. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, calm and comfortable environment where they feel part of the family. We have a secure garden for supervised outdoor time, and dogs will receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime and walks throughout the day. I always follow owners’ routines and preferences to help pets feel settled and at home.
“Amirah and her husband Ben are amazing with our dog! They live in a wonderful home which is safe for pets and will always provide updates daily on their visit. We wouldn’t send out dog anywhere else!”

“Grace was absolutely brilliant with my mini poodle puppy! He’s normally quite shy with new people but warmed to Grace and her partner almost immediately, with Grace sending regular pictures and videos of him enjoying his time away. Would definitely recommend her boarding services to other dog owners!”

About: My first pet was a cat when i was 7 and it lived 21 years. I have always loved pets and now have a 4 year old Tibetan Terrier who is great around other dogs. A hamster and often look after neighbours dogs as well. I work from home and there is always someone in to keep your pet company. I walk my dog every lunchtime down the strawberry line or in the fields so they are well exercised. I have a fairly large house with a walled garden and wooden floors downstairs. I also have a friendly 4yr Tibetan terrier for company. There are dog beds and a sofa with blankets on.
“We were a bit unsure about leaving our puppy Wilbur with someone, as he’s only 11 months and very full of energy! But Tasha was super friendly, calm, and did an amazing job with him. She sent us photos and a video, and it was clear he was having the best time. Wilbur came back happy, relaxed, and properly chilled, he even went to bed early after such an exciting day! Definitely worth the 25-minute drive, and we’d love for him to stay with Tasha again. 🐾”

About: I have been working with animals since I have been 17 and I just love the way every dog is different and I enjoy going out with walks and feeding them every morning my own dogs have their own set routine in the morning I am currently not working at the moment so I have seven days a week to look after any other animals and any sort of animals I have worked in kennels before and had to stay there overnight to make sure all the animals were safe and fastened into that tense
“Great service, Anne was very welcoming and Buddy really enjoyed his time with Anne having access to the garden and enjoying plenty of exercise during walks. Highly recommend”
About: Hey there, my name is Rebecca! I'm a 27 year old vet student and pet sitter. I have lots of great experience with a variety of species through my vet training and life in general! I have been involved in both the cattery and dog shelter of the Galway SPCA. I also worked closely with small mammals, and rescued my colleagues from a loose ferret once! I discovered a love of sighthounds in particular and always really enjoy working with them. I have been casually pet sitting for the past five years, until last year when I began using another app that was popular in my area. I had several regular dog visit/ walk clients - new puppies to the more mature. I am happy to do on and off-lead walking, where appropriate and safe. I will follow instructions on whatever training you are working on with your pet. I am confident administering medication. Unfortunately, I cannot accept very strong or difficult to handle dogs due to chronic back pain. I would be keen to build a trusting relationship with any pet I care for and strive for respectful and honest communication with pet owners. I give pets my full attention and aim to leave them tuckered out but happy! I send a detailed update after my visit including some photos. I'm always careful to include any concerns. ✅ Please Note: House Sitting: I am not currently staying overnight in client’s houses. This option is suitable if you would like to have me sit with your pet during the day/evening, while at work or socialising. Please get in touch to discuss! 😊 Boarding/Day Care: I live in an apartment which has a small balcony and unfenced patio space - suitable for quick potty breaks. There are lots of easily accessible nice walks in the area for longer exercise. Walks: Available to pick up/drop off and supervise visits to local secure dog paddocks. My Uni schedule varies each week but I will aim to keep my calendar as updated as possible. I am keen to build a base of regular/semi-regular clients, having recently moved back to North Somerset. There are times when I am required on-campus 9am-5pm but I do my best to be flexible. Do get in touch if there's anything you'd like to discuss - I'm more than happy to answer any queries 😁 I am always careful entering and exiting the house to prevent any escapes. I diligently use any equipment or restraint advised by owners to keep everyone safe. I always do my best to read an animals behaviour so as not to cross their boundaries and ensure everyone is as safe and happy as possible during the visit. I welcome owner advice about individual pets as they usually know their animal best!
“Tilly was absolutely wonderful- I felt completely at ease leaving my puppy with her. She gave frequent updates and her home was lovely. Pup came home very happy and relaxed. I know she’d love to go back!”

“Natalie was great!! Really good response for her before dropping Dotty off and then loads of photos and updates while they were together. Really appreciate everything and would highly recommend”

About: !!!IMPORTANT: I’ll have bathroom renovations in July. If your dog(s) is sensitive to noises, please do not book! Thank you!:) Hi! I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 7 years old, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I moved from Hungary to the UK in October 2025, and after our dog left in December, the house has felt very empty without a pet around. Although I became an engineer, I always loved spending time with animals, and back home friends often trusted me to look after their cats while they were away. I’m calm, reliable, patient, and currently have plenty of free time for walks, visits, playtime, and giving your pets lots of attention and care. I work from home full-time, so I’m available for pet care all day long. I can easily adjust to your dog’s schedule for walks, playtime, meals, and cuddles. I’m also happy to do overnight boarding or weekend stays whenever needed. I have a fully fenced yard and a safe, pet-friendly home where your dog would spend most of the time inside with me. The house is calm and secure, and I can crate your dog if needed. Playtime is always supervised in the fenced garden.
The median cost per day for doggy day care in North Somerset is £25
Dog owners share their Rover experiences - North Somerset
Mollie and Dom were so welcoming of Otto and he really quickly seemed at ease in their home, which was a joy to see because Otto can often take time to warm to new people and new settings but he was straight into exploring the garden and finding new toys. They were very considerate of Ottos needs and accommodating in adapting plans and fitting the day around Otto, giving time and space to understand his mannerisms and quirks. Mollie also sent lots of photos and it was lovely to see Otto having a great day! We would definitely love to have Mollie look after Otto again.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
