“Jagger had a wonderful stay! Excellent communication and very accommodating with my changing plans, thank you. I will definitely book her in again next time we are in the area.”

About: I have extensive experience with animals, I grew up riding horses and volunteered at the riding school through most of my youth and early teenage years. We had two cats at home and also had hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I have also cared for ferrets, degus, goats, sheep, chickens, donkeys, rats, and mice. I study through an online university, leaving me with ample flexibility. This allows me to be with your pet exclusively, which benefits your pet in many ways. This particularly helps pets who experience separation anxiety from their owners. I have references and am DBS-checked to ensure security and reassurance. CPD accredited in dog first aid. I follow instructions very precisely to ensure your pet is cared for as you desire. I will keep you in the loop while you are away, I am happy to send you photographs and updates of how your pet is getting on. I treat every pet as though it were my own, giving them the love, attention and time they deserve :)

About: Hi :) I’ve always loved dogs. I grew up with a mini poodle and now have a very sweet cockapoo named Cooper. I’ve also regularly looked after friends’ dogs, so I’m very used to caring for different breeds and personalities. Because I work from home, your dog will have company and attention throughout the day. I only take care of one dog at a time alongside my own, so they get plenty of focus and care. Alongside daily countryside walks, I make sure dogs are mentally stimulated with games, treat searches, and plenty of indoor play and affection. I know how hard it can be to leave your beloved pet, so I always send regular photo updates to help you feel relaxed and reassured while you’re away. I follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, and bedtime habits. I treat every dog as if they were my own and I genuinely love being around dogs more than I do people. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home, so I’m present and available throughout the day. My own dog is already part of my daily life, so walks, feeding, play, and attention are naturally built into my schedule. Overall, pet care is a very natural part of my routine, and I make sure each dog feels calm, comfortable, and included in the day to day rhythm of the home. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and settled from the moment they arrive. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, and any specific instructions from their owner. While they may be left alone briefly at times, it is never for long periods, and I always ensure they are comfortable and settled before leaving them.
“We visited Bath for a day and left our dog, Nymeria, with Francesca. She was very pleasant to communicate with, and she took a good care of Nymeria. Nymeria would love to hang out with Francesca more if we visit Bath again.”

“Hugo had a great day at Natalie’s! She was reliable, communicative and sent updates throughout the day. We felt incredibly comfortable leaving him in her good hands! Thank you xx”

“Ralphie had a genuinely fantastic day with Lesley, Alfie & Sparky. He had lots of walks which he loved and almost more importantly, a snuggly blanket to snooze on! Lesley kept us updated with photos and videos which was super reassuring. Will definitely book again!”

“An excellent experience from start to finish. They took the time to understand my dog's routine, personality, and needs, which made me feel confident leaving him in their care. The updates were thoughtful and reassuring, and it was obvious that my dog settled in quickly and enjoyed his stay. When I collected him, he was content, well exercised, and had clearly been given lots of attention. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would happily recommend them to other dog owners looking for reliable and attentive care.”

“Thanks Sarah for taking good care of Maple. We booked Sarah last minute when we were on our holiday in Bath. Sarah responded quickly and looked after Maple when we were out for dinner. Maple was content and sleepy after we picked her up. Maple was also happy with Sarah and Maple was lying on her belly which is a sign of a relaxed Maple - shows how at ease my pup was being with Sarah. When we’re next in Bath, we will seek out Sarah again - thank you!”

“Tim was absolutely great. He was super attentive from the start and came right on time yesterday to meet both Happy and me, which I really appreciated. Today he was just as lovely, keeping me updated throughout the day and taking great care of Happy. Even though the weather was rainy, he still took her out for a proper lunchtime walk. He picked Happy up from where I was staying and dropped her back as well, which made everything incredibly easy. He’s very friendly and thoughtful, and even gave me some great local recommendations as I was visiting the city for work and didn’t know the area well. I’d definitely recommend Tim and hopefully we’ll cross paths again soon! ☺️”

“Oscar really likes staying with Ecrin. She's wonderful and is very interactive & active with Oscar. I get lots of lovely photo updates. Ecrin is very proactive and always communicates clearly. I would recommend. Thank you ⭐️”

About: We’ve both grown up in households full of pets, from cats and guinea pigs to bearded dragons, but at our core, we’re true dog lovers. Throughout our lives, we’ve been surrounded by different breeds, from Scotties and collies to larger breeds. In our family home now, we share our space with our beloved Weimaraner (Blue), Golden Retriever (Gozo), and a German Shepherd (Saxon). About 50% of the time, our Show Cocker Spaniel, Dash, also joins us, completing our pack. As a couple, we’re very comfortable with big dogs and have a knack for getting them to love us. We’re happy to take them for long walks, feed them, and play with them—it’s as much fun for us as it is for them! I work in Bristol as a Project Manager for the NGO STAND, with flexible working arrangements that allow me to work remotely when needed, meaning I can give your pets as much time as they need. My partner, Elvira, works at the University of Bath as a portfolio manager in the IT department, and we both enjoy spending our time with animals. We’re happy to host dogs in our home in Bath, where we have our dog, Dash, with us half of the time. We can chat with you to coordinate when that is. Our garden is dog-friendly, and our home is a welcoming, cosy environment for dogs—so they’ll feel right at home with us!
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and since moving to Tunley a few weeks ago, we have decided to look for our own! In the meantime, we would love to petsit and get accustomed to having a pet in our home again! I am a nanny who works in London for 6 days a month and my partner is a self employed tutor. Katie can create her schedule however she plans therefore is pretty flexible with routine. Our availability calendar will fall in my 'off shifts' so I will be around all day. We will always walk the dog on the lead initially. Once the dog is familiar with us, we are happy to let them off the lead in a contained space provided we have the permissions to give them a good run out!
About: I will treat you dog just like my own. I have a 3 yr old very friendly male weimaraner and we are usually out on walks 2 or 3 times a day. The Bath Skyline Walk and National Trust land is directly behind our house so plenty of space to run around. I also have a fenced rear garden to use for toilet breaks. I work from home so always here to provide all the care and attention your puppers needs. Happy to arrange a meet and greet to ensure you are fully comfortable, just let me know. I work from home and usually out for walks a minimum 2 times a day with my own dog. Will walk in the morning (before 9am), lunchtime (around 1pm) and evening (after 5pm). I usually go for minimum 45mins walks each time. Happy to follow your instructions regarding walk time/duration and lead walking/off-lead walking. I have our own, very friendly, 3 year old Weimaraner to keep your dog company. During walk times we have a fenced garden for toilet breaks or general relaxation for you pupper.

I've had Laura as a dog sitter several times now and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. She's always friendly, responsive, and reliable, which gives me complete peace of mind. Oscar absolutely loves spending time with her and is always happy to see her. She genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after and will always take Oscar on a good long walk when he needs it. It's clear she enjoys what she does, and I know Oscar is in safe and caring hands whenever he's with her. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Francesca was a delight to communicate with. She kept me up to date throughout the day and made sure every need was met. I was surprised by the professional photos which were beautiful (maybe because he is so beautiful) but I must admit I have some amazing new wallpaper for my phone! Thank you so much for everything and so easy to relax knowing my boy was in great hands!

Brilliant Doggy Day Care! My boy was extremely well looked after and every need was meet. My puppy came back healthy, happy and tired after such a great day. Plenty of walks and a lot of photos and doggy narration which I loved! Thank you Sophie and Felix is excited to come back! ❤️

I couldn’t recommend Renny more highly. She looked after Leela for the full day and was absolutely wonderful. She has such calm, positive energy, and Leela seemed to really like her, which means a lot, as she can sometimes be reluctant to walk with new people. She followed Leela’s schedule carefully, took her for a lovely long walk, and kept me updated throughout the day with excellent communication. She also left our home spotless. I hadn’t left Leela with a sitter in two years after a previous bad experience, but Renny’s calm manner and professionalism really helped put me at ease. I’m so grateful and would happily book her again.

I couldn't be happier with the care provided for my dog. Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates and photos that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that my dog was treated like part of the family and received plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.

Liz was a dream with our little boy from start to finish. Monty took a great liking to her right away and we knew he was in very safe hands. He went on plenty of walks between April showers and we loved seeing all the photos of what he got up to. I would not hesitate to recommend Liz and I’m sure Monty will very much look forward to seeing her again, as will we!

Dino was so happy being with Natalie for daycare, thank Natalie for having him! Would absolutely have him stay with her again. Communication was brilliant, pick off and drop off was so easy, her own dogs are really lovely and gentle and Dino had a great time!

Abigail is lovely and took such good care of Enzo, updating me with photos and videos as well as a link to his walks which was unexpected and very nice to see. She was also very accommodating with a change to the drop off and collection times plus she has a very sweet dog of her own. Highly recommended.

Ling was perfect with our little boy. He settled quickly and by the second day he didn’t even look back! I loved seeing all the photos of his adventures and was kept up to date all day which massively helped with the anxiety and guilt of leaving him. I couldn’t recommend her services more and will definitely be using again. Thank you for looking after our dog as if he were your own 🙏

Hannah looked after Django at short notice, which really helped us out of a bind. Hannah is a confident and caring dog lover and I felt completely at ease leaving him with her. She kept in touch during the day, and Django came home happy from his day with Hannah and her pup. 🙌🐾🙏💕

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
