“Brigitte was wonderful with Bernie. She seemed to have a really nice time and we got lots of pictures throughout her stay which was really reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her 😊”

“Hayley was absolutely fantastic with Oliver! He settled in so well under her care, which gave us real peace of mind. We loved receiving regular updates and photos—it was clear he was happy and well looked after. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Hayley again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.”

“Nicola was so great with our nervous doggies. They were so happy and calm. Nicola’s house is lovely and clean and our little dog couldn’t get up to any mischief! They went on a long walk and were really calm when we got them home. Perfect day! I’ll be re booking..”

About: I had a cat when I was little. I had a cockapoo 15 to 26 and miss him loads. Just resigned from my job so I’m free most of the time for same day bookings but better to have some notice in advance. Absolutely love pets and can help train if needed :) Love getting outside for walks but also a big fan of lounging on the sofa for a cuddle! Have Henrietta Park right by me and will go for adventures! Have super comfy sofas, not a super busy flat so it’s a nice calm environment. I love to get more than 15k steps in a day so it’s always best to have a companion! I miss having my dog around so it’s nice to have a 4 legged friend.

“Claudia was fantastic at looking after Yahoo. She took care to find out our dog’s routine, likes and dislikes. She took him on lots of walks and gave us updates and photos! She is very responsive to text messages and we completely trusted her with our dog. She is an excellent dog sitter and will definitely be rebooking with her!”

“Francesca came to the rescue when someone cancelled last minute, for which we are very grateful! We were sent videos which was lovely and Trevor was clearly having lots of fun. Would definitely book again.”

“Jessica was great! very quick at communicating and kept us fully informed while Maia stayed with her, lots of pics and asked us all the things we forgot to mention. It was the first time we’d left Maia with anyone apart from friends and family but Jessica made it all super easy. Thanks again :)”
“I cannot thank Lily enough for not only taking amazing care of Harlow but also doing it on such short notice! I was kept updated throughout Harlows stay and she seemed so happy to be with Lily and her amazing family :) I should be recommending Lily to anyone that will listen but then I’m afraid she will be too busy to be Harlows step mum haha Lily your amazing thank you so much for everything you did I cannot express how appreciative I am for everything you did for my pup”

“Ozzie had a lovely time with Christine and her dog Lottie. She took really good care of him in the extremely hot weather that was happening during the booking. She timed his walks for the coolest times and made sure he was comfortable the rest of the time. Ozzie looked happy and relaxed in the photos and updates she sent me and I will definitely be rebooking with her (in fact I already have!)”

“Bert had a great time with Alison, Tom and Murphy. He has come home very happy and we had lovely updates for the entire stay. He had a fantastic time with Murphy and hopes to see him again soon. Thanks very much!”

“Mango and her flatmate were fabulous with Otto. They were very good at following the instructions for his food and medication and kept me informed regularly about how he was getting on. It looks like he had an amazing time, from all the photos Mango sent! Otto came home relaxed and happy. Thank you!”

“Lesley was lovely and super flexible and easy to coordinate with. Eddie loved playing with her dog, Sparky, and I loved getting pictures and videos of them playing from Lesley. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Yolanda really helped us out when we needed very short notice boarding accommodation for Doug. She was very reassuring and understanding and I especially appreciated her responsive and regular messaging (even though poor reception meant we weren’t so easy to get hold of). Most importantly Doug seems to have had a very happy stay.”

“Booth had a lovely time with Natasha and her family. We were kept up to date and received photographs and videos reassuring us that Booth was having a lovely time. It was obvious that he really bonded with Natasha and her family and enjoyed his stay. We would not hesitate to use Natasha again and would highly recommend her pet sitting services.”

“Smaranda looked after our cat at short notice, she was completely reliable, unphased about giving him his medicine and obviously has a way with cats as he took to her straight away. Couldn’t have asked for more.”

“Brooke was great. It was my first time leaving my two girl cats with anyone but friends or family so I was a little nervous. Booked stepped in last minute when my friend couldn't check in on them for a long weekend away. The girls even came and spent some time with her which is huge as the youngest one can be timid around new people she doesn't know. Will 100% call on Brooke again, she put my mind at ease through out the whole thing and the girls clearly felt comfortable with her”

About: I have been around cats for my entire life as my grandmother had many many cats until recently. In the past few months I have cat-sit a 2 cat household with a kitten just over one year old. The oldest cat I have been around was 16, dead and blind. I care about all animals and love spending time playing, relaxing and being in their company.

“I cannot recommend Ayla enough! We were in a real bind when our original cat sitter cancelled on us at the last minute, but Ayla saved the day. She accepted our request immediately, which was such a huge relief. She took incredible care of our cat throughout the stay. We really appreciated the frequent photo and video updates, it was so comforting to see our cats happy and well-fed while we were away. On top of the great pet care, she was a fantastic houseguest; she kept everything tidy and left the house in perfect condition. Ayla is reliable, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. We will definitely be booking her again!”

“Kenna is fantastic. She makes me feel so at ease leaving our 6 month old puppy. She keeps his routine and implements current training! Her communication is second to none and the pup dates are always an added bonus!”

“Lauren was great. The boys were both super happy and unbothered by our return which is a good sign. The house was left cleaner than we left it which is so nice after a long travel day. Communication was quick and easy and we can’t thank Lauren enough after she stayed an extra night after our flight was cancelled! Will definitely use again! Thank you!”

“Renata was easy to make arrangements with and looked after our two cats very well while we were on holiday for a week. She also shared photos with us daily, so that we could see that the cats were staying happy and healthy!”

About: Through my volunteering with animal welfare, I’ve worked with cats who are shy, anxious, or recovering from difficult backgrounds. I’m skilled at building trust slowly, respecting boundaries, and providing the right mix of attention, care, and routine.
About: As a 60 year old retiree I have 46 years of experience of dogs since getting my first dog when I was 14. I have constantly had dogs ever since, all rescues and mostly from puppies. I'm experienced in basic training and will be very happy to keep up your training routine as necessary. Dogs mean the world to me, and I'll treat your dog like my own. I keep myself fit and and can take your dog on any length of walk, short or long. I have now retired so have time and flexibility. I have a dog of my own. He's a rescue and a little timid so I wouldn't bring him on a walk with your dog unless you particularly wanted your dog to be socialised I have a fenced in garden and am more than happy to bring your dog to my house or care for them in your home.
About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.

“Julia just looked after our two demanding ragdoll cats for over 2 wks. She gave us huge peace of mind, sent updates and truly cared for our pets. Lovely lady, lovely to work with. Very happy to recommend. Jason”

“Absolute Star - Cat did a phenomenal job with Louis, responding with great care and efficiency when Louis became unwell with a tummy upset during his time with her. She looked after him as if he was her own beloved and I cannot recommend her highly enough. There aren’t enough stars available to capture the full extent of our gratitude and now, happily, Louis is fully recovered and I think he can’t wait to see Cat again so he can thank her”

“Thank you Emily for looking after Missy so well while we were away on holiday. Emily visited Missy twice a day to check on her with her food (1 tablet per day) water and litter box. Would definitely recommend Emily.”

“Francesca was a delight to communicate with. She kept me up to date throughout the day and made sure every need was met. I was surprised by the professional photos which were beautiful (maybe because he is so beautiful) but I must admit I have some amazing new wallpaper for my phone! Thank you so much for everything and so easy to relax knowing my boy was in great hands!”

About: Hi :) I’ve always loved dogs. I grew up with a mini poodle and now have a very sweet cockapoo named Cooper. I’ve also regularly looked after friends’ dogs, so I’m very used to caring for different breeds and personalities. Because I work from home, your dog will have company and attention throughout the day. I only take care of one dog at a time alongside my own, so they get plenty of focus and care. Alongside daily countryside walks, I make sure dogs are mentally stimulated with games, treat searches, and plenty of indoor play and affection. I know how hard it can be to leave your beloved pet, so I always send regular photo updates to help you feel relaxed and reassured while you’re away. I follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, and bedtime habits. I treat every dog as if they were my own and I genuinely love being around dogs more than I do people. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work from home, so I’m present and available throughout the day. My own dog is already part of my daily life, so walks, feeding, play, and attention are naturally built into my schedule. Overall, pet care is a very natural part of my routine, and I make sure each dog feels calm, comfortable, and included in the day to day rhythm of the home. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and settled from the moment they arrive. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, and any specific instructions from their owner. While they may be left alone briefly at times, it is never for long periods, and I always ensure they are comfortable and settled before leaving them.
“We’re so pleased we’ve found Lesley! She was so great with Remi, taking him on plenty of walks and helping him settle in with her lovely family and dogs Sparkie and Alfie. She sends regular updates and pictures/videos so we felt reassured Remi was having a great time while we were away.”

About: I've lived with and cared for animals since childhood and have always had a deep love for animals. After recently losing a beloved pet, I'm keen to share my home and affection with furry companions again. Dog sitting allows me to provide a loving, safe, and caring environment while helping owners feel confident their pets are in good hands. Every animal is treated like part of the family, with plenty of attention, cuddles, playtime, and care tailored to their needs. I have lifelong experience of caring for pets including, small fur animals, tortoises and large breed dogs. You will experience a home: which is lively and fun. I will be the main caregiver of the pets but this is a family home. I love animals so you can be confident that there will be plenty of attention around the clock. I spend a lot of time outdoors in nature, enjoying long walks which could accommodate your dog. I also enjoy cosy nights in where cuddles on the sofa are prioritised for cats and dogs. I will be the main caregiver for the animals coming into our home, but they will be adored by us all. My garden is secure with fences. It is large with plenty of space to chill outdoors. I live close to a large park, a cemetery (our dog loved it here) and a cycle track for walks nearby.
About: I’ve always had pets in my family growing up and as I’ve grown, my love for dogs and animals has grown also! I have a big space and fenced garden to have lots of play time and fun! Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding routines, medication, walks or playtime. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, secure and loved while in my care. I’ll also keep your home clean, tidy and respected if I’m caring for your pet there. If your baby is with me, we have a large fenced garden to play around in, as well as many nearby parks!
“Fantastic sitter! This was a last-minute booking, and she responded late in the evening, which was a huge help. She was warm, friendly, and communicative throughout, and was also very accommodating when I needed to change the drop-off time. Oscar was well looked after, and I'd highly recommend her.”

“We were on holiday in the area and needed to go somewhere dogs couldn't go, so contacted Ben. He was lovely and took good care of Casper for day care. Thank you Ben, I'm sure we'll be back. 😊”

“We have never left our 5 month old puppy with anyone before Brigitte made us feel immediately reassured! Our two dogs are high energy and they were absolutely exhausted by the end of the day. Brigitte sent regular updates and pictures throughout the day and kept me in the loop! Will definitely be leaving our pups with her again!”

“Thanks Sarah for taking good care of Maple. We booked Sarah last minute when we were on our holiday in Bath. Sarah responded quickly and looked after Maple when we were out for dinner. Maple was content and sleepy after we picked her up. Maple was also happy with Sarah and Maple was lying on her belly which is a sign of a relaxed Maple - shows how at ease my pup was being with Sarah. When we’re next in Bath, we will seek out Sarah again - thank you!”

“Thanks to shniele for looking after our puppy during the heatwave. She provided really great care & communication all day. She even treated our puppy to our first ever doggy ice cream. We’ll definitely book again :)”

About: I've had dogs as pets and taken care of other dogs since the age of 6, I don't want to get another full time pet but I miss the companionship terribly. I'm no Caeser Milan but I feel dogs respect my authority and temperment despite the fact Im such a softy! I am self employed and work from a home office. I am available 7 days a week and will try and accommodate anyone - even last minute! I'm fortunate that I can dictate my work hours so I can spend as little or as much time as your dog needs. We can energetically play in the garden and go for numerous walks or if they're older and just need a little company they can sit and be stroked all day. I have a large garden, grass and heavily shaded areas. The lawn is surrounded by hedges rather than fences though and deer do manage to find there way in during the night so your dog would never be in the garden unattended unless pre-determined they were the type with good recall. For those inquisitive dogs determined to escape I have a 10m lead! The house is warm and cosy with wood floors. Though strict on request I'm equally more than happy for a dog to sleep anywhere if it makes them happier.

“I'm really happy with Ayla, she is obviously a dog lover and Poppy can't wait for her morning walk - I think she decides where they are going. I would recommend Ayla to anyone.”

“Madison was extremely conscientious and clearly cared about my dogs (and even my cat) when she provided dog walking services while I was away. Always timely and detailed in report cards, and with great photos to go with the write up, she was very responsive to any messages and gave me perfect peace of mind. I would definitely hire Madison again and would recommend her highly to a friend.”

“Joe was absolutely fantastic as a dog walker for Carla. He was organised, good at communicating, punctual and reliable. Joe was also flexible when I needed to change a day around. He was energetic with Carla and she clearly had a lot of fun on her walks with river swims and sticks. I would highly recommend him.”

“Mango and her flatmate were fabulous with Otto. They were very good at following the instructions for his food and medication and kept me informed regularly about how he was getting on. It looks like he had an amazing time, from all the photos Mango sent! Otto came home relaxed and happy. Thank you!”

“Paddy had a wonderful time with Lucy and her family. He clearly loved hanging out with another whippet and was so well cared for. Paddy & Max seem very similar and it’s fab to find someone who knows how to look after the eccentricities of a sighthound - 100% recommend!”

“Natalie is absolutely amazing with Henry, you can tell she loves him as much as he does her. Lots of pictures whilst we were away and reassuring messages. Very calm and adjusted really well to being back home. Fantastic dog sitter. *****”

About: I create connections with all animals of all ages easily. I have pride in my relationship with animals and how much love I have for them. My family dog has been left in my own care since I was 14, taken care of multiple cats and used “borrow my doggy” multiple times in the past year. I am currently a part-time supervisor and attend university during term time. My hours are flexible as I work in hospitality and many of my lecturers are online. I have plenty of time to be with your furry friend, take them out and be company when you need. I live in a 5th floor flat with no garden, however easy access to areas to use the toilet. I live with one other person.

About: Canadian/Aussie Pet Sitter Newish to England here to help with loving your doggo's in your absence! My Story: I was the owner of a beautiful Cavoodle, Miley, for 15 years, she soul shatteringly passed away in Oct 2023 and to heal I started to dog sit in my neighborhood, a daily fur fix and being able to give love to a furry friend was incredibly healing. In December I took some time to heal further and booked a trip to visit friends in Bath, I loved it so much and when I returned to my empty home, I decided I wanted to make the move over. The universe must of been listening because my employer of 8 years made my position redundant, and I took that as the final sign that my time was up in Australia, and it was time to start a new life for myself in England. My Experience: I specialize in anxious doggo's that need full time company, and extra love and cuddles, I care for every pup as if they are my own and all of my clients I started beautiful relationships with and became one of their "hooman's", so much so that before I left Aus I had a farewell puppy party at the pub where I could say goodbye to all the beautiful furry souls that Miley sent to heal me! So now I'm on the hunt for my next furry friends! I have experience with all doggos big and small ranging from 3kg - 65KG (Yup one of my fav clients was a 6-month-old Tibetan sweetheart) Available most days and weekends. I work as local store manager in menswear and have sunday mondays off, my partner Andrew who is also a dog lover and has grown up his whole life with a dog works from home 4 days during the week so we are a 2 for 1 doggy sitter duo to help with availability. We are completely open to keeping to the dog's pace, from long walks and fetch for high energy border collies and working breeds, to cuddles and naps for an elderly poodle.

About: I’ve grown up loving animals and in a household full of cats. My family was even specialized in breeding rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, geese and chicks! I had a lovely Yorkshire terrier, Meggie, for 16 amazing years until 3 years ago. I also regularly dog sit for some of my closest friends on a semi regular basis, so I am used to different types of dogs and needs. I go on walks with them, feed them and play with them. I am comfortable with any special instructions you might have for your loved pet. I have also done long stay house sitting for families with feline members. And I am currently regularly taking care of two kittens for one of my friends as well. I am currently taking a gap year to concentrate on renovating my bungalow, so any animal company is more than a welcome distraction. The main bulk has now been done, so there is nothing dangerous for a pet that would need to stay here. I will make them feel right at home! I’m currently renovating my bungalow, so I can be very flexible and give your pet/s the attention and care they need, as well as have plenty of time for walks and play time. I have a large garden fenced, but it is also currently connected to my driveway, however if this is a problem and I am told in advance, I can make arrangements such as 10m leads. Whilst renovating, the big bulk of things is currently finished, so there is nothing dangerous around the house that will harm the animals.
“Best dog sitters we have ever had. Regularly given updates with pictures, and went above and beyond to settle our dog in. Can't recommend enough and likely the only dog sitters we will ever use in the future. ❤️”

About: Having grown up with dogs in my family and gone on to work in professional kennels, I have hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I recently left my full-time job and as a result have flexibility to provide walks, day care and overnight stays. My aim is to provide a genuine alternative to kennels or large daycare, with a fun, and loving environment where I can give individual attention. I enjoy being active and genuinely love getting out for long walks every day, so your dog will never be short of adventure, fresh air, and exercise. I also have experience working with dogs who have anxiety or behavioural difficulties. I have a flexible schedule and am available on both weekdays and weekends. I also have a car which is set up for transporting dogs safely, and I am happy to provide pick up or drop offs. I live in house with an enclosed back garden. This provides a great environment for dogs to play. Likewise, inside the house there are various dog beds and toys!
About: I had an amazing Scottish terrier growing up and was very used to taking her out for walks, grooming her and keeping her entertained both at home & outside. Since I was 20 I’ve had dogs of my own and really enjoy the company and personalities/quirks they all have! I’ve mostly had terriers (my last dog being a Border Terrier) which need a lot of attention and stimulation. I enjoy finding ways to keep them entertained at home with games, toys and also enjoy a sofa snuggle with them… who doesn’t! Sadly my dog, Scruffy, passed away a couple of years ago which means all my friends who have dogs very often will ask me to look after them which I love doing! I work from home 3 days a week and have a flexible schedule which means I have plenty of time to have doggy company at home. Most places around the area are dog friendly so I plan to take them with me everywhere (as long as they feel comfortable!) I have a spacious garden flat with a fence which is not facing a main road and is secure. I don’t have pets so they will have my full attention at all times. I have blankets on the sofa/bed so I’m always happy for them to jump up with me (if they’re allowed at home, of course!)
“Anna is great! Very quick to reply to my initial questions, lots of photo & video updates during Bertie's stay and most importantly of all Bertie had a great time - I don't think he wanted to come home! We will definitely be using Anna again.”
