“I was so grateful to find Jamie to look after my anxious attached little pooch on the day of booking. It was my first time using the app so I was also nervous to leave her with someone I didn’t know and he made me feel so at ease with his reassuring way of being and by sending me regular updates and photos. I will definitely ask Jamie to care for her next time I’m in Bristol and I would recommend him to anyone who needs dog sitting. Thank you Jamie.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and caring dog lover with over six years of hands-on experience looking after pups of all ages—from playful two-month-old puppies to sweet senior dogs over ten. I’ve cared for many breeds, both big and small, including Border Collies, Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds, Westies, Bichons, Fox Terriers, and Shibas. Each dog has their own personality, and I always take time to understand their needs, routines, and quirks. I believe walks should be fun and engaging, not just the same old route every day. That’s why, whenever I have time, I love taking dogs on mini adventures—hiking in Red Deer Park, exploring Snuff Mills, playing in the river, or spotting deer and flowers in Clifton. Their happiness is my biggest reward, and I love seeing them explore the world with joy and curiosity. I’m incredibly patient, calm, and gentle, and I treat every dog like my own. I currently live in a spacious, pet-friendly 1b1b apartment with plenty of room for dogs to relax, even larger breeds. Whether your pup loves cuddles, quiet time, or outdoor fun, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. I'm currently a PhD student, but I work from home most of the time, so my schedule is quite flexible. That means I can spend plenty of time with your pets throughout the day I live in a pet-friendly 1b1b apartment that’s clean, spacious, and comfortable—even for large dogs. It’s a quiet environment, which is great for pets who are sensitive or prefer calm spaces. I keep the floors clean and disinfect regularly. If I’m hosting a cat, there’s a 2.2-meter-tall cat tree at home that’s always a favorite. I follow each pet’s usual feeding habits and routines carefully, so they can feel safe, relaxed, and loved during their stay.
“Charlotte has been repeatedly sitting for both of my dogs. She is particularly fantastic with Major while caring for him in our home - she has a natural warmth and genuine love for dogs. Major was relaxed, happy, and thoroughly spoilt with attention. I had complete peace of mind knowing he was safe, loved, and in such capable hands – I can’t recommend her highly enough!”

“Amazing communication and clearly so good with dogs. Georgia really took the time to understand what Minnie was like and I felt very comfortable knowing she was in good hands. Thank you SO much. Minnie is now happily napping on the sofa after two walks. Perfect!”

About: I'm an experienced dog owner, and currently have a 4 year old Miniature Schnauzer who loves to play and gets on well with most other dogs. He's well behaved (mostly) and would love to have another dog to spend time with since our older dog passed away. I work from home, and have a flexible schedule so always fit in morning, lunch and evening walks. My husband Errol is a freelancer so often is at home during the day as well. We love exploring local parks, countryside and dog friendly beaches. Our son is a very calm 9 year old and has grown up around dogs of all shapes and sizes, and he understands the importance of giving pets their space when they need it. I've previously volunteered at Battersea Dogs Home on their rehoming team, and loved getting to know all the dogs and helping to find their forever homes. I also volunteered at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, walking their older resident dogs on my lunch breaks. I understand that all dogs have different needs and temperaments, and will make sure we can meet your dogs needs. Always happy to chat and see if we are a good fit for your dog :) We walk our dog at least 3 times a day, mostly 4. First thing, lunch time, early evening and last thing. I work from home and am part time. We have a secure walled garden where your dog can roam around, as well as free run of our house. We can easily keep them in one room or use a crate if needed. Happy to feed whatever you usually feed whether that is raw, fresh or kibble and cater to any allergies.

Bristol dog owners share their Rover experiences
We left our puppy with this lovely couple yesterday and couldn’t be happier with the experience. They are kind, trustworthy, and it is clear how much they genuinely love animals. Raichu had an amazing time and came home happy and relaxed. I’m so pleased that they enjoyed his company too.

Eleanor was great with Akela and she was very responsive during all communication. She also contacted us as soon as she felt he might be a little unsettled and then she sorted it straight away. She also kept us updated all day via pictures and updates. Akela was very calm and happy when we went to pick him up. Would definitely rebook ☺️

Maisie looked after Benji brilliantly and when I picked him up it was clear he was comfortable in her care. He has several health problems and also has times when he's distressed. Maisie was alert to how he was through the day, being flexible and responding to his needs, also keeping me updated. I highly recommend her.

Reggie had a lovely time with Jamie and Jack who took care of him for the day at relatively short notice. Great communication, very responsive and lovely calm energy when we dropped Reggie off. We would absolutely recommend and will no doubt be in touch in the future ☺️

We couldn’t be happier with the care Branston received with Ella. Ella checked in with us throughout the day with pictures and to let us know how Branston had settled in. Branston is still a puppy and Ella made sure that she kept him busy with different enrichment activities throughout the day. It was clear that Branston absolutely loved being there from start to finish. We will definitely be using Ella again, she is friendly and reliable and clearly is a natural with dogs.
Mollie was brilliant with Kodak and we’re so pleased he got on so well with her dog, Pixie. The videos of them playing and photo updates throughout the day put me at ease and brought us a lot of joy. Our pup instantly fell in love with Mollie and she’s been great at communication throughout. We’ll 100% be using her services again and we highly recommend Mollie to other dog parents.
