“I was apprehensive about leaving my nervous chihuahua/cross with anyone for 24 hours but Synolda was perfect for him. She is so relaxed and has a natural empathy with dogs which my dog responded to immediately (this is very unusual!). It also helped that there were two other small dogs there to help him settle in and to play with in the Bark Park :) Synolda sent me regular updates and made the experience so much less stressful for us so we were able to enjoy our family event. I highly recommend Synolda and would take my dog to her again without hesitation.”

“Natalie was absolutely lovely and we had total confidence in her from the outset. She came to meet Ted a few days before he stayed with her and took the trouble to get to know him She was always quick to respond, and kept us updated with photos throughout his stay. Ted clearly had a lovely time with her and even came home with some new toys! We highly recommend her.”

“Josh was great with our Coco!😀 Coco tends to be nervous around people he does not know but from the messages and beautiful photos Josh was sending us it was clear that Coco was having a great relaxing time!”

“Joshua was an absolute life saver when our dog sitter fell through at the last minute before our wedding. Joshua communicated well and was able to take Theo for the whole weekend. Joshua updated us with pictures and congratulated us on our wedding day. Theo was happy and content on ohr return which was great to see and Joshua said they'd had a lovely weekend. Would highly reccomend Joshua and will happily use him in the future.”

“We have just returned from our holiday, we have collected a very happy pup! Marley is a very funny little boy and Nicola catered for his every need. He will deffo be going back to her. Really impressed with the service that we received and all the lovely updates we received while being on holiday. Would 100% recommend Nicola, she’s amazing at her job and is a lovely lady.”

“Jackie and family were fantastic with Wally from start to finish. She made a real effort to understand his needs beforehand and ensured he felt completely at home during his stay. Communication was great, and she was very flexible with drop-off and pick-up, which made everything so easy for us. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and Wally came back relaxed, happy, and very well looked after. We felt totally confident leaving him in her care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming environment for their dog!”

“I cannot thank Jessie enough for looking after my boys. They had the best time. Plenty of walks and Jessie kept me updated regularly with photos. My 2 can be a bit of a handful sometimes but Jessie was brilliant. Thank you so much”

“Our lurcher, Flinders, spent four nights boarding with Alice. Her communication was brilliant from the moment of booking right through to the end of his stay. She sent lovely photos which clearly show how relaxed and happy he was, as well as giving us regular updates about what they'd been up to and how he was doing. I feel completely confident leaving Flinders in her care. He is a lovely dog but not always the easiest (can be reactive and nervous, high prey drive etc) but she wasn't phased by this at all. Whenever we next need a dog sitter or help with getting him out for a walk, we will definitely book with Alice. I really can't recommend her highly enough!”

“Helen did an excellent job looking after Leo for our holiday. He had a brilliant time playing with Marvin and has come home a super chilled and happy animal. What a lifesaver knowing we have someone who can keep him when we go on road trips! Definitely will be a repeat customer.”

“I was nervous about leaving my spaniel puppy for the first time to visit my son in Boston - I needn't have been!! From the minute I dropped him off I could tell he was in excellent hands. “Sarah looked after Bob for the second time and did a great job again including sending me lots of nice updates. About: I’ve been caring for pets since childhood, and my love for animals has only grown over the years. I grew up with a German Shepherd and I was all my neighbours go to sitter and dog walker. I’m grateful for the many regular furry friends I continue to care for such as a lovely Cockapoo and a slightly crazy Cavapoo. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, or just some cozy companionship, I’m here to give them the attention they deserve. I’m always excited to meet and care for new pet friends, so don’t hesitate to reach out. I tend to fall in love with every dog I meet so your pet will be looked after as if they were my own. I work from home so your pet will not be left alone at any point. I can take them out for 3 big walks if needed (or smaller ones depending on their needs). I tend to go on an hour long lunch walk and take breaks throughout the day to play with them. If your pet is low energy I will of course happily adapt. I have a fenced off back garden and a fairly big house. There is plenty of space for a larger dog and I live nearby green areas perfect for walks.
“Olivia looked after our whippet Cleo for the first time yesterday. She returned to Olivia again today and Cleo was absolutely overjoyed to see her. We received lovely photos and she had lovely walks at Victoria Park. Thank you Olivia!”

“G ran straight to Josh the first time we’d ever met him! She looked very relaxed sleeping in the photos and was keen to go back to him again a few days later. Happy dog, happy owner. Thank you Josh!”

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for my own pets - cats and small animals, including rats, guinea pigs and rabbits. I also regularly dogsit for family members, with experience caring for both large and small breeds. In addition, I worked at a veterinary practice for two years, giving me valuable experience with animals and their individual needs. I have dealt with animals of all ages and have experience with elderly animals and those requiring medications. Animal care fits easily into my daily schedule as I have the flexibility to work from home when needed and can adjust my working hours around the needs of the animals I’m caring for. This allows me to provide regular walks, feeds, companionship and attention throughout the day, while ensuring I can adapt my routine if a pet needs extra care or attention. I’m very respectful of other people’s homes and understand how important it is to leave everything as I found it. When caring for pets in their own home, I would treat the property with care and respect while keeping their usual routines as consistent as possible. My priority is making sure pets feel safe, comfortable and well cared for in their familiar surroundings.
About: I have always been a huge animal lover and I adore looking after furry friends. I have recently moved to Bristol after living most of my life in Edinburgh. I fully work from home so I will always be around to look after your pet and keep them company. I have had experience looking after different types of dogs which range in sizes and activity level. This includes a borador and ex-racing greyhound. I also have experience looking after cats for my extended family and have a huge soft spot for them. I am happy to look after your pet at your own home and I am planning to open boarding at my own home later down the line. I can follow any routine you may have with your pet and accommodate any special needs they may require. I am also very happy to send regular updates with what they have been up to and include photos to lessen any worry you may have. I currently work from home so will always be available to look after, keep company and play with your pet. I am also able to go on longer adventures on Friday, Saturday and Sundays as I do not work on these days. I typically take dogs for a minimum of 3 walks a day (however I will be happy to adjust this either way to suit your pet). I will stick to your pets usual routine to help them feel as comfortable and normal as possible while their favorite human(s) are away.
“Kerry was really great in helping me out last minute, she was on time & kept me in the loop about how Chip was and was happy to feed him after the last walk. Would use again!”

About: I've grown up with multiple family pets including dogs, hamsters, fish and guinea pigs and now own a gorgeous kitten. I'm very used to reactive/nervous dogs (I'm close with two) and have had lots of experience with elderly dogs, puppy training, multiple cat homes and kittens. I'm the go-to pet sitter for several people and would love to help out some more fur-riends! I'm currently working part-time so I'm around most of the week for pet playtime and care. I live in a top floor flat with no garden so won't be able to host, but am readily available for lots of drop-ins and walks, and house sitting if required. During a drop-in, walk or stay, pets can expect lots of attention and warm interaction. One of my favourite things is winning a furry friend over with treats and learning what their favourite toys are.
“CJ was a great dog walker and companion to Clio and Thalia. They were always happy to see her and were very well taken care of. CJ was reliable, sent loads of pictures and was happy to help a bit extra. 10/10. Hope to book her again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover full of happy memories caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up around furry friends has given me years of experience understanding their different personalities, quirks, and needs. Outside of pet sitting, I work flexibly in Bristol’s natural history television scene, so I’m lucky to spend my days surrounded by wildlife and storytelling. Having a flexible working schedule means I am able to provide a safe, friendly, and familiar face for pets when their humans need an extra pair of hands. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Please don’t hesitate to drop me a message if you have any questions! 🐾🫶🏻✨ Gx I’m fortunate to have a flexible work schedule and the ability to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m currently between projects, meaning I have extra availability to offer walks, companionship, and a reliable routine for your furry friends. I’d love to offer home stays in the future, but for now I’m very happy to provide care in your pet’s own home. Where they are surrounded by the familiar sights, smells, and routines they know best.

About: Hi there, I’m Jess and after taking a short break from Rover, I’m back to take care of your lovely pets! I have recently moved to Clifton as I am starting my masters degree in September 2026. My degree will be part-time which means I have lots of flexibility to look after your pets when needed! I am unfortunately unable to have pets in my new flat, which means that I will only be able to look after your pets in your home, or take them for a walk if sitting is not required. Please note that I will only be taking requests from those that live in Clifton and the surrounding areas. My partner Sara will be working full-time, but if I am sitting for you during the evening/weekends, she will most likely come with me as she loves being around animals just as much as I do! We absolutely loved petsitting when we lived in Cardiff and I am so excited to pick up where we left off in Bristol. If you think that I would be a good fit for your pet, please pop me a message and I will be in touch! As I will be starting a part-time masters degree, I will have lots of spare time to come to your home to look after your pet, or take them for a walk. Myself and my partner Sara sadly no longer have any pets, so we will jump at the chance of keeping yours company. I am happy to take bookings on both weekdays and weekends! It is really important to me that your pet is comfortable and happy, so I aim to replicate the same routine that they have when they are under your care. I will respect any boundaries that you have with your pets (i.e if they are not allowed on the sofa or if they are on a diet) so that they can maintain a sense of normality. I also make sure to send plenty of photos/videos so you know that your pet is safe and happy.
“Rudi was fantastic from the beginning. So fast at replying and accommodating. Rex had the time of his life on all of his walks! The daily walk updates and photos were fantastic. He always came home happy and relaxed. Will definitely be using Rudi again in the future.”

About: Prior to moving to Bristol, I lived on my family's farm for 25 years, looking after everything from dogs and cats to farm animals and geese - you name it! I then spent several years in Kenya working to improve the welfare of dogs in a remote Maasai village, as well as working with the local people to address some of the stigmas surrounding dogs in the area. I am a freelance classical cellist, so have plenty of flexibility and time when I am not travelling for work, which I would love to fill with some wonderful new four-legged friends. I have lived with and loved animals for my entire life. Plenty of experience with senior dogs + cats, puppies and kittens - if you are looking for a safe, experienced pair of hands, with the flexibility to work around you, please feel free to get in touch. I work flexibly from home meaning that I am very often available for pet care - please get in touch to discuss what works for you. I live in a comfortable flat with my partner in Cotham, a short walk away from beautiful green spaces such as The Downs to enjoy all lengths of walks. You know your own pet best, and whether in my own home or yours, I follow the routines that work for you.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs for 30 years (my whole life). My parents have always had Lurchers so I have experience with medium - large sized dogs who love a good walk. I live with my boyfriend who also loves dogs and has grown up with Dalmatians and a Munsterlander. I’m a freelance events coordinator so can be flexible on availability. I will also have the odd weekends free as well as days in the week. I always make sure I’m nearby when looking after a dog so they feel safe and secure. If walking outside I’ll keep them on a lead and if we’re in a garden I’ll make sure it’s securely fenced off.
