About: My nan has always been an animal lover and she had 3 Irish red setter and 2 cats whilst I was growing up. As she got older she needed additional help taking care of them so I have plenty of experience with walking, feeding and playing with crazy dogs :) I'm a part-time hospitality worker in non-term times and a uni student during the school term. I have loads of free time on my hands and would absolutely love if I could spend it playing with animals! Happy to take photos of pets at any point during the day to show their safety! Otherwise I am a very cautious person - I will make sure I know where they are at all times and kept on a lead especially in busy areas.

About: Hi there, I’m Jess and after taking a short break from Rover, I’m back to take care of your lovely pets! I have recently moved to Clifton as I am starting my masters degree in September 2026. My degree will be part-time which means I have lots of flexibility to look after your pets when needed! I am unfortunately unable to have pets in my new flat, which means that I will only be able to look after your pets in your home, or take them for a walk if sitting is not required. Please note that I will only be taking requests from those that live in Clifton and the surrounding areas. My partner Sara will be working full-time, but if I am sitting for you during the evening/weekends, she will most likely come with me as she loves being around animals just as much as I do! We absolutely loved petsitting when we lived in Cardiff and I am so excited to pick up where we left off in Bristol. If you think that I would be a good fit for your pet, please pop me a message and I will be in touch! As I will be starting a part-time masters degree, I will have lots of spare time to come to your home to look after your pet, or take them for a walk. Myself and my partner Sara sadly no longer have any pets, so we will jump at the chance of keeping yours company. I am happy to take bookings on both weekdays and weekends! It is really important to me that your pet is comfortable and happy, so I aim to replicate the same routine that they have when they are under your care. I will respect any boundaries that you have with your pets (i.e if they are not allowed on the sofa or if they are on a diet) so that they can maintain a sense of normality. I also make sure to send plenty of photos/videos so you know that your pet is safe and happy.

Violeta was absolutely great. She visited our cat twice a day and stayed to give her lots of attention. She also turned lights on and off and opened and closed blinds so the house didn’t seem empty - and made sure our cat got some sun! She sent great updates and photos each time. Gema and Betsaida came to our rescue last minute when our cat was poorly with a prolonged vomiting episode just before we were due to go away. We were able to go on our trip and leave Crumb in very safe hands - they provided us with regular updates and Crumb was well looked after - she in fact wasn't sick when we were away. It gave us total peace of mind. They went above and beyond with a bit of garden care too. They were quick to respond and are true cat lovers. We will definitely book them again!
Samantha did a brilliant job of looking after our cat and bearded dragon. She was thoughtful, attentive and a great communicator. I appreciated her experience and the fact that she clearly cared a lot about looking after our pets as well as possible. She administered medication to our cat and went above and beyond to ensure our bearded dragon had a varied diet. The Rover cards that she left each day included just the right amount of information to let us know that our pets were happy but also to raise and potential issues. An excellent experience and I will definitely be booking Samantha again.
Sarah took good care of my cat Lily and was helpful and prompt in replying. While I trust that she was well looked after, I would have liked updates to be more informative as well as a photo. Even if it's repetitive, I like to know at each visit a bit about whether she's eating okay, using her litter box, had any fuss or played, etc. Especially when she hadn't pooped for 24 hours, I would've really appreciated being told that she finally had without having to ask, so that I didn't keep worrying. Thank you for looking after her.
Andrea is a lovely person and was wonderful with my cats. She provided lots of updates and photos and I could see they were happy and being well looked after. She stayed and played with them and I felt completely relaxed about leaving them in her care. When I came back from holiday, everything was tidy and the cats were in great spirits. Miranda looked after my cat while I was away for a weekend. She managed to make friends with Pebbles even though Pebbles is a very nervous cat and scared of strangers. The regular updates put my mind at rest while I was away. I would definitely recommend Miranda if you have a nervous cat.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
