“Kennedi has been our pet sitter for over a year now and we are so pleased with her service. She always sends nice updates and photos of her visits and takes the time to play with our cat as well as checking food/water/litter. I feel she genuinely loves animals and will definitely use her services again for future holidays.”

About: Hi! If you’re looking for a lovely countryside spot for your pup, either for the day or for a longer stay, I’d love to help out! I have 1.5 acres of fenced in land (the wall is only about 4 feet in some spots so please let me know if you have an escape artist). I also have lots of space in my house for fun, whether they love to sunbathe on the patio or go for a splash in the paddling pool or even play scent games in the bushes. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I adore them! In 2022, I rescued my girl, Kiki. She came to me with severe reactivity and people and dog aggression so I have plenty of experience managing difficult dogs. I am not a dog trainer but I have worked with many and am prepared to deal with dogs of all personalities and needs. I have raised dogs using force free training methods and also have experience using e-collar, prong, and other aversive tools so however you have trained your dog, I am comfortable managing them. I am happy and willing to take care of any kind of dog (dangerous dog breeds included). I can keep the dogs in my care separated so can take dogs in heat as well. I have several crates if you crate train, otherwise plenty of couches for the dogs to dose on :) I do ask that if your dog poses a bite risk to people or dogs that they come muzzle trained. If they aren’t, I am still willing to care for them but would likely exercise them on my property to avoid risks to the public. Whatever you need, I’m willing to work with you to make sure your dog has a lovely stay and you have a stress free break! I work away from home four times a week and am usually out for five hour periods. Otherwise, if I am out, the dogs can generally come with me in the car. Most of my time is spent at home though! I have 1.5 acres of fenced in space on my land. We also have another two acres of open field and then miles and miles of public trails plus some really great spots on the river if your dog likes to swim. Plenty of adventure for doggies. There are quite a few deer and rabbits (as well as livestock which I always leash around) in the fields so unless your pup has solid recall, I will not risk having them off leash outside of my fenced in area. If your dog is only with me for a short stay, I won’t introduce them to my dog as Kiki is dog specific and I don’t like to risk any tension between her and other animals. I have space for four other dogs in my home to be separated easily. Friendships during longer stays are very dependent on each dog and if they can be neutral around each other. Of course if your dog is reactive or aggressive, I am happy to accommodate that and avoid dog/people interactions completely. As the owner of a reactive and previously aggressive dog, it was always my hope that I could find someone to care for my dog who understood the risks and was fully knowledgeable of the responsibility associated with higher risk dogs without paying crazy prices for a specialized kennel. I am not a trainer but I will care for your dog the way you do and I will love them the way you do :) My main goal is to give you peace of mind while you travel and make sure your pup has a great time.
“Fiver stars to Dom for being a very reliable cat sitter with lots of common sense! I found Dom both friendly and professional when we met for the first time at our house. He was prompt and accommodating and even managed a last-minute meet and greet before we went on holiday. Dom looked after our 2 beautiful, fluffy cats for 3 sessions (alternate days over 6 days). Although they are very shy indoor cats, Dom tried hard to engage with them by calling their names. He also communicated with me, asked questions when he was not sure about something, and sent photos of their litter box and food via Rover and WhatsApp during each visit. Thank you so much for your amazing service, Dom, I have no hesitation in re-booking you for our next holiday and recommending you to other cat owners.”

“Amber has been fantastic! She is knowledgeable and so kind. This has been our first experience leaving our dog and she really put our minds at ease. She is also lovely and easy going.”

“Have just used Hayley for the first time to walk our golden retriever. It was nice she came to meet him & us beforehand. She kept us up to date and I would definitely recommend her.”

About: I have lived with animals all my life and I have a special connection with them all. I have 20 years of experience caring for dogs of different breeds, the best years of my life was fostering and caring for a pack of 5 wolf dogs . Unfortunately they all passed away due to an old age and now I live with a beautiful and totally different character French bulldog. I have experience with medication administration, caring for animals with health issues and behavioural difficulties. With me your member of a family will be treated with love, kindness and compassion because that is what they deserve. I will have plenty of time for your loved ones, if they need long walks, play time or just a cuddle. Your dog will not be left unattended at any time. I live in 2 bed house with a small frenchie. We don’t have a garden but live around a corner from a lovely gated park.

I would provide regular updates through messages and photos.
“Richard was a perfect choice for drop-in visits for Rascal, particularly with his experience of re-homing stray and rescue cats, as he knows the vagaries of character and the nervous behaviour that can be shown. I felt very assured as soon as I met Richard, that all would be well whilst I was away. It was really nice to see photos of Rascal and to be reassured that he was coping with the change of person administering his daily routine and that all was well. Everything was neat and tidy and cleared away on my return. I would certainly recommend Richard for all pet duties, and I will be booking again in the future.”

About: I have walked my friends dogs and dog sat many times for some family friends :) Love looking after a furry friend! What ever breed they are! I’m currently a uni student studying food and nutrition, I have weekends and evenings free to pet sit. I really enjoy walking, especially if I have a fury companion. I will care for your pet however you wish. Back at home, when dog sitting for friends I would regularly take the dog out for potty breaks and ensure the dog was safe while in the garden.
“Davide and his partner took Bailey out for a nice walk and helped dry him and clean his mucky paws when he was returned to stay with my 85 year old parents. Bailey was very happy afterwards Thank you guys”

“Thomas looked after my cats for two weeks. He came for an initial visit so he could meet them (they can be timid around strangers) and so I could show him the location of everything he would need. Thomas was respectful of my home, made sure he included photos of their food and water level each day and kept them well fed. He brought post in for me and kept me updated throughout my time away. I had zero concerns and would happily book again!”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Chippenham
Sofie was excellent caring for my cat whilst I was away for a long weekend. She sent multiple photos and videos of her which was lovely and reassuring. Lily (my cat) clearly enjoyed all the snuggles, strokes and attention. Thank you! Will definitely book again x

Tom did drop-in visits for my two cats, Indy and Conker, every other day for a week, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he provided. He made sure they were fed, watered, their litter boxes were cleaned as req'd, and spent time playing with them each visit. Communication was excellent throughout — he checked in regularly, double-checked a few details I’d missed, and was attentive and careful. Everything was done exactly as I’d hoped, and I felt completely confident my cats were in good hands. I’d definitely use Tom again and highly recommend him!
