About: Ever since I was kid I've always been around animals at home. I've had all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets. You name it, I probably had them at some point in my life. I love all animals, but dogs in particular. We used to foster dogs so I've had many types of dogs with different personalities and struggles. To name a few, I've had a staffy-mix, greyhound and 5 mixed-breed puppies, so they've always been a part of my life. I'm currently self employed and work from home so your dog will always have company. My schedule is very flexible so I will be available whenever you need, as long as I have a bit of notice :) I have a fenced garden and 1 big lovable Bloodhound who loves to play with other dogs (your dog will need to be dog friendly if I'm boarding). In the summer months, I can either walk early in the morning, late at night or both depending on your dogs needs. I will always walk with a lead for safety reasons.

Emily provided me with just the right amount of feedback whilst I was away, a couple of photos, a comment on my cat's general well-being and her behaviour on arrival, and confirmation on various matters which we had discussed beforehand eg when to give medication for arthritis, arrangements regarding the key. I would definitely book Emily again.”

“Janie dropped in & fed our cat Bella over 4-5 days whist we were away, and she was fantastic! She messaged us each time she came with a report on how Bella was doing, & sent us lots of pictures too. Bella is quite a nervous cat, but Janie was able to get her to relax with her really quickly, and when we came home Bella seemed totally at ease & unconcerned that we’d been away. Absolutely brilliant, we’d definitely ask Janie to look after Bella again, and our dog Otis, if we aren’t taking him with us next time!”

Our cat was quite stressed in our new house, and even though we only booked 30-minute visits, she stayed much longer to make sure he was calm and settled. She also helped with a few things we meant to take care of before leaving but forgot, which was a huge help. She kept everything tidy and cleaned up after the cat, so the house was in great shape when we came home. Truly went above and beyond. A fantastic sitter we’d happily recommend.”

About: I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a huge love for animals. I treat every pet like my own and am reliable, patient and attentive. I’m experienced in caring for pets, including administering medication (oral or injectable), monitoring health. I’m first aid trained and know what to look for in an emergency situation. You can feel confident your pet will be safe, happy, and well cared for in my hands - I’ll be sure to send plenty of update pictures! I’m working full time but have one day off during the week (this varies each week). I could do pop in visits during the week depending on location. I’m available most weekends. I have a decent sized garden for exercise and are happy to go on walks. I have no other pets currently living in my house.

About: About me: I am in my mid 40s and have been a pet carer and house sitter for more than a decade now. This forms a significant part of my working life and has taken me all over the UK, as well as to Portugal, Cyprus and America. I have also volunteered widely on organic farms so I am confident in rural settings and happy to 'muck in'. Thus far I've cared for cats, dogs, chickens, ducks and alpacas. As a child I had rabbits and guinea pigs, and I also looked after gerbils, hamsters and rats for friends. For your reassurance, I have an Enhanced DBS certificate. This can be viewed on request. I am self employed so I have a good degree of flexibility and control over my time. I am available at weekends as well as during the week. Your pets will be cared for as you would wish, and we will discuss their character and needs in detail before my first appointment. I don't have facilities for transporting dogs safely, so all dog walking will be done from your door, on a lead, in territory familiar to your dog.

About: I’ve had family dogs from the age of 7, including some slightly more demanding breeds such as Beagles and Harriers. I’ve had my own English Pointer (Rebel) who is 7 years old and I’ve looked after many of my friend’s dogs (usually spaniels and labradors). I have more experience with working breeds and love to spend time outdoors with them on long walks, but equally happy to care for less active breeds and chill at home with them! I’m currently 4 months into a 10 month maternity leave period so spending plenty of time at home with my baby and dog. I love dogs and spending time outdoors so would love to use my time to help out others! I have a friendly female dog (she’s spayed) who is used to boarding and going on joint walks, a 4 month old baby boy, and a house with fairly large fenced garden. I spend a lot of my day pottering around the house but always like to do at least one big walk a day!

About: Growing up our house was home to a number of different breeds of dogs that we loved and cared for very much. I've had a good exposure to varying temperaments and behaviours. Currently I'm a med student who attends university in Bristol Monday to Friday and the rest of my time is usually spent at home studying. I’m based in Bedminster but I have a car I can use if needed to drive out a little further for any dog walking or house-sitting requests.

About: I have cared for friends and family pets over the years, also caring for Incas brothers and sisters. We have many enjoyable play dates together. I am a self employed qualified Swedish masseuse, this means I am able to set my my own work schedule around various commitments. I will always have Inca with me, so it will be lovely company for her, we always walk in the morning, midday ish and late afternoon. So company for her would be fab. I live on a narrowboat so can only offer care for your pet at your home, I am happy to stay overnight if necessary and offer house sitting for your holiday needs.

About: I have had dogs as pets all my life (and if I had the chance I would have a house full of them!) I currently have an aging (12 years old) cocker spaniel who (typically for a spaniel) is still full of life. I live in a barn in the countryside, so have lots of space inside and out. I also live near a farm, so while the garden is big, it’s not 100% fully enclosed, so any dog that stayed would need to be OK with farm animals or have excellent recall. I have a 5-year-old who’s very comfortable around animals, but would be less happy with overly boisterous or noisy dogs. My dog is allowed upstairs and on the sofa and bed. For my dog’s sake, it would be better if any dog that stayed slept downstairs - just to avoid any nighttime territorial stuff. I am at home all day, so would always be available to care for any specific needs or wants your dog may have. I’m happy to care for your dog in the way I’d hope my dog would be looked after - with love, care and kindness. I am at home all day so am available to walk dogs at any time. I have to pick my daughter up from school at 3 and have occasional after school clubs, otherwise I can fit to your schedule. I want any dog staying in our home to feel comfortable and at home. Our dog is allowed upstairs and on furniture, and am happy to allow visiting dogs the same freedom. To ensure no unexpected territorial issues, it would probably be better that visiting dogs were happy staying downstairs.

About: Taken care of a lab and a spaniel so can handle an older more relaxed dog, as well as a smaller more energetic one and know how to keep up I currently work from home so can provide company throughout the day as well as walks before and after work as well as lunch breaks Fenced yard, locked house and the back gate is also locked. Own 1 cat so will need to be a cat friendly dog, but lots of pet experience
