“Dexter has just returned from a fabulous stay with Sophie. He hadn't boarded before so we were a bit worried but needn't have been. Sophie had great communication from the start, replying to our booking request very quickly. She put us at ease at the initial meet & greet walk & Dexter took to her straight away. Nothing was too much trouble at all - Dex can be quite fussy & wa had great photo updates frequently so we knew how he was getting on. He looked like he was particularly enjoying the forest walks on the long lead. Sophie obviously loves looking after pets & this shines through with the care & consideration she gives. I would have no hesitation with recommending Sophie and using her again to look after Dex. Thank you Sophie.”

About: I have a degree in animal management and I have been a genuine dog lover since I was a tiny child! I have two dogs of my own, a beautiful Irish Setter and a Cocker Spaniel. I work from home 4 days a week and love to walk in the countryside where I live. I am able to do up to three walks a day and while I’m at home boarders will have access to a generous fenced garden. Boarders will sleep and be fed separately to my dogs to prevent any issues and can be walked separately if required. I work predominantly from home Tues-Friday and typically do a walk in the morning before breakfast, a walk at lunchtime if the weather is not excessively hot (rain doesn’t bother us!) and a walk in the evening before dinner. Dogs are given access to the garden during the day when I am home to supervise. On Mondays dogs are left between 8:30 and 3pm but are walked before I leave and upon my return. Boarders will be kept apart from my own dogs when unsupervised. I have a fenced garden that has proved secure for both of my dogs. Both my dogs are friendly, dog-social and are up to date on their flea, tick, worming and vaccinations. I have two young children who are used to interacting with dogs however children and dogs are never left alone unsupervised or allowed to play without adult assistance. Boarding dogs are always fed and sleep separately to my own dogs.

About: My husband and I have our own dog, Monty who is an adorable and energetic 1 year old cockapoo. I have grown up with dogs all my life, from golden retrievers to labs, and many more with family and friends. I have experience with both puppies and older dogs, I have also had dogs with health conditions who required medication, so could distribute medication if required, depending on the type. My husband, Julian, will also help to look after any dogs who stay with us, but I will be the primary caregiver as I'm home all day. I work full time from home and my husband is a handyman so is in and out of the house. We typically walk Monty a couple of times a day if we do shorter walks, or if the weather permits we take him on a long, off lead walk around a large field once a day, with regular potty breaks. We have a decent sized garden and also have a green space out front for any dogs who don't like pooping in a garden (Monty doesn't 😂). As we already have a dog, having another would fit nicely into our existing routine. We have a 3 bedroom house with a secure, fenced garden that is free from anything that could harm a dog. We live nearby to many open green spaces as well and will happily walk your dog on or off lead, according to your preference. I am home during the day and pets will not be left alone without either myself or my husband here.

About: All my life I have had dogs and cats and I would not have it any other way. A home is not a home unless it has pets. They bring so much joy, love and they are all so unique. I currently have a Labrador (Roxy) who is super friendly and 2 cats. We can tailor the walk to your dog's need, long or short, it can either be where there are lots of others dogs if that's what your dog likes or it can be a much quieter walk in the countryside. Your pet’s well-being, safety, and daily routine are my highest priorities, and I’m always happy to follow any specific care instructions you share.I can do short or long house sitting stay. As I have cats I can not offer to have your pet in my house overnight but I can offer short stays in the day. I am fully insured and will shortly be taking on a pet's first aid course. I can be available every week day and weekend with plenty of notice. I will on occasion be doing the walks with my dog providing yours is happy with that. She is super friendly. My pets get the best care. They get fed as soon as I get up and that is before I make myself a cuppa. My dog gets at least 2 hours walk everyday and loves playing with her ball. As we have cats I can not offer overnight stay at my house but I can accomodate short stays in the day.

My husband grew up in a family of dog handlers for breed championships and had experience with Fila Brasileiros throughout his youth. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My love for them started with my childhood cat, Doodles. Every evening she'd curl up on my chest, and this has always been one of my favourite childhood memories. When I was around 10, we welcomed our family dog Bramble into our lives. Later, she developed a health condition that meant she needed daily medication and extra care. Helping to give her medication, changing her bedding every morning and evening, and making sure she was comfortable taught me how important patience, and compassion are when caring for pets with additional needs. Since then, I've been lucky enough to care for pets belonging to family, friends, and colleagues. This has included overnight house sits with cats, looking after my uncle's Westie, Freddie, in his own home, and welcoming my boyfriend's family dog into my home while they were away. While travelling around South East Asia, I volunteered and donated at an animal shelter in Koh Samui, made a point of visiting only ethical elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai where the elephants aren't ridden or touched, and even met the incredible landmine detection rats in Cambodia. I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s needs, whether that’s long energetic walks for active dogs or slower and gentler walks for older or less mobile dogs. My priority is always making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable and well cared for. I’m currently working as a freelance photographer, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I’m often out walking anyway, so I’m looking for some furry friends to join me on my walks in my spare time. This flexibility means I can accommodate different times and adapt to each dog’s routine. Whether that’s regular daily walks or occasional care. With my background in photography, owners can expect regular photo and message updates so you can see how your pet is getting on and feel confident they’re happy and well cared for while you’re away. I always prioritise a pet’s safety, comfort and routine whether I’m caring for them in my own home or in the owner’s home. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking preferences and any specific needs or behaviours. About: I have 2 dogs currently and have had dogs since I was young and many other animals such as; cats, hamsters, fish, chickens and I have even loaned a horse before. I’ve worked in the veterinary industry for 7 years as an assistant to vets/nurses and it was my job to look after and take care of all the animals that came in. I have also had work experience in puppy training and in a kennels/cattery. I have always loved caring for animals since I was young and will always have a passion to work with them. About: My first experience with taking care of dogs was when I was 8 with two rescue german shepherds. They were lush and taught me a lot of how to take proper care of a pet, especially when there may be behavioural issues present from past mistreatment. I have been a dog person ever since! Over the years I have lended a hand many times to friends and family to help take care of their dogs which have all ranged in various sizes and ages. I love to walk and am more than happy to do so with a lovely pup (or few) in tow. I currently work full time but am available all day (between 8am and 6pm) on Sundays and Mondays. Additionally, I am available between 5pm and 8pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays. If care the need is outside of these hours then please message anyway and hopefully we can work something out. Your pet's care and safety are my top priority. I will follow your instructions carefully, keep routines consistent, and make sure every visit is calm, safe, and enjoyable. I understand the importance of making sure your pet is cared for at the utmost and will send pictures/updates of your pet at any frequency that makes you the most comfortable so you can see how we are getting on!
About: I have cared for friends and family pets over the years, also caring for Incas brothers and sisters. We have many enjoyable play dates together. I am a self employed qualified Swedish masseuse, this means I am able to set my my own work schedule around various commitments. I will always have Inca with me, so it will be lovely company for her, we always walk in the morning, midday ish and late afternoon. So company for her would be fab. I live on a narrowboat so can only offer care for your pet at your home, I am happy to stay overnight if necessary and offer house sitting for your holiday needs.

About: I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse and have been caring for pets for the last 5 years in a veterinary environment. I have also had both dogs and cats all my life so am very happy looking after them. I am fully CPR and first aid trained. I currently work full time, working 4 days a week. My weekends are normally quite free, however I do work 1 in 8. During the week I have one day off and work 10 hours the remaining days. Depending on location of pet sitting, I can additionally pop home during my lunch break for a short walk and check in. About: I have a degree in animal management and I have been a genuine dog lover since I was a tiny child! I have two dogs of my own, a beautiful Irish Setter and a Cocker Spaniel. I work from home 4 days a week and love to walk in the countryside where I live. I am able to do up to three walks a day and while I’m at home boarders will have access to a generous fenced garden. Boarders will sleep and be fed separately to my dogs to prevent any issues and can be walked separately if required. I work predominantly from home Tues-Friday and typically do a walk in the morning before breakfast, a walk at lunchtime if the weather is not excessively hot (rain doesn’t bother us!) and a walk in the evening before dinner. Dogs are given access to the garden during the day when I am home to supervise. On Mondays dogs are left between 8:30 and 3pm but are walked before I leave and upon my return. Boarders will be kept apart from my own dogs when unsupervised. I have a fenced garden that has proved secure for both of my dogs. Both my dogs are friendly, dog-social and are up to date on their flea, tick, worming and vaccinations. I have two young children who are used to interacting with dogs however children and dogs are never left alone unsupervised or allowed to play without adult assistance. Boarding dogs are always fed and sleep separately to my own dogs.
