About: Ever since I was kid I've always been around animals at home. I've had all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets. You name it, I probably had them at some point in my life. I love all animals, but dogs in particular. We used to foster dogs so I've had many types of dogs with different personalities and struggles. To name a few, I've had a staffy-mix, greyhound and 5 mixed-breed puppies, so they've always been a part of my life. I'm currently self employed and work from home so your dog will always have company. My schedule is very flexible so I will be available whenever you need, as long as I have a bit of notice :) I have a fenced garden and 1 big lovable Bloodhound who loves to play with other dogs (your dog will need to be dog friendly if I'm boarding). In the summer months, I can either walk early in the morning, late at night or both depending on your dogs needs. I will always walk with a lead for safety reasons.

“We are so lucky to have found Sophie she is a god send. Boris our cocker spaniel loved her immediately & brought her his soft toy, a sign that he likes someone, it was immediate. Sophie had the knack of really understanding Boris’s character and they quickly formed a bond. Sophie even took Boris for a doggie day out and a new walk which he clearly loved. Sophie carried out all our instructions and the house was left immaculately clean & tidy. We received photos and messages every day, which we loved to receive. We will definitely use Sophie again and cannot recommend her highly enough. Sophie is definitely Boris’s new best friend.”

About: I am an avid pet lover. I grew up on a farm surrounded by many different animals from dogs to cats, horses, pigs, chickens, sheep, and bunnies. At one time I owned 8 dogs, with various needs in terms of medication, treatment, and care. Having many different animals and many dogs all at once, I am capable of paying attention to the needs of each, meaning your babies are in safe hands. Most of my animals have been rescued and or adopted, which has given insight into many unique and versatile characters. I am a gentle and calm person who is not reactive, hyper, or anxious which allows your fur babies to feel comfortable. I am most at ease around animals and love to surround myself with four-legged friends and insects. I have two active hives at home in South Africa where I practiced my beekeeping. Highlighting my passion and love for all creatures. What I can offer you: I can house site, stay the night with the animals, walk or run, have your animals come and stay with me, and overall provide much-needed love, cuddles, and care. I am doing freelance work at the moment, which allows me a flexible schedule. I often enjoy the park during my breaks to get out and about. I have a garden space, and as well as a spacious home. I live 5 minutes from the park which provides the opportunity to pop out and walk around if your dog requires more attention. The house is secure and has a fence.

“Jayne was excellent when looking after our 11 month old Max. We would definitely recommend her as a dog sitter. We booked a last minute sitting with Jayne and because we couldn't do a face to face meeting beforehand, Jayne made sure we had a video call so she could introduce herself, learn all about Max and ourselves and make sure we were comfortable. On the day, Jayne was wonderful with our pup. She sent us regular updates to ease our minds and it was clear that Max had a lovely time with her. She let us know what he got up to and if there was anything we needed to be aware of before she left. We are definitely going to be asking Jayne to dog sit for us again in the future!”

About: Hi, I’m Jasmine — a genuine animal lover with a lifetime of experience caring for all kinds of animals, from small pets to large dogs. I’ve had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, rats, fish (including koi!) and even a bearded dragon called George. 🐾 I spent 4 years working at a local animal shelter in a fundraising role, where we received introductory behavioural training for both cats and dogs. I’ve also learnt a huge amount through caring for our own rescue animals, including experience with dog and human-reactive dogs and dogs of all sizes, including bully breeds. I’m mainly looking to spend more time around animals and hopefully make life a little easier for their owners too — whether that’s a walk, drop-in visit, sitting or a home-from-home stay. I work from home in an office-based role, which means your pet can enjoy the company and comfort of a calm home environment rather than being left alone for long periods. I’m able to provide a relaxed, homely setting where your companion can settle into their usual routine, with plenty of attention, company and care around my working hours. Walks, playtime and any additional care can be built around their individual routine and needs. Your pet’s wellbeing is always my priority, and I’ll follow your guidance on their routines, preferences, likes and dislikes to make their stay as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m also happy to keep you updated while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re comfortable, settled and being well cared for. At weekends, I’m able to offer even more flexibility and time for walks, adventures, enrichment and one-to-one attention. My aim is to make their time away from you feel as much like home as possible — with care tailored to the individual companion rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m there to look after your pets in which ever way you advise me too - I practice fear free care for animals, a firm believer in positive reinforcement & meeting an animals individual needs. If I’ll be boarding your animal, my garden is fully enclosed & I have a comfortable house with room for a crate or other items for your animal. I do have guinea pigs at home who are behind a locked door & stair gate but please let me know if your animal has a particular interest in small animals! I expect full transparency, care, attention and updates from those that look after my pets whilst I’m away so this is what I feel most happy offering you whilst your pets are in my care. 💕
