Shelley T.

“Shelley has an amazing way with putting anxious animals at ease, so much so that our dog didn’t even get up to greet us when we got home from our day out! Very accommodating to our dog’s training needs too. We will certainly use Shelley again.”

Clare M.

“Thank you so much for looking after our doggos, Clare! It was our first time using Rover and you really put our minds at ease. Loved the updates, especially seeing you win timid Peggy over. We’d love to work with you again!”

Cameron M.
“Cameron has looked after my dog on multiple occasions and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. He follows all necessary instructions that you give him and he is a genuinely lovely person. He’s very flexible to your needs and and is a great communicator. Cameron is everything you could ask for when looking after your dog, I would 100% recommend.”

Emma P.

“Emma was fantastic! Stepped in at the last minute and had a fantastic time with Stanley. Kept me updated throughout the day with excellent pictures, and I came home to a very tired pup who clearly had a fantastic day! Will definitely call on Emma again!”

Chloe T.
“Chloe is great with my doggo Bruno, she is very warm & welcoming to him, he absolutely loves it whenever Chloe is around him or looking after him. She’s attentive & always giving Bruno all the love & affection he wants from her. I would recommend Chloe to look after your animals because she is a great, fun & loving & caring person! Someone you won’t be worried to leave your pets around. They will be in great care!”

Shelby S.

“Shelby was great with our 5 month old puppy. He has separation anxiety issues we are working on currently so it was imperative he wasn’t left and Shelby stayed with him for the day whilst we attended a funeral. She asked lots of good questions and genuinely seemed to care about his routine. She even got cuddles on the sofa with Benny so he clearly trusted her.”

Matthew S.

“OMG Matt has been a complete pleasure to work with from start to finish. Hetty and Stan didn't complain at all when we left them at home with Matt! The booking process was brilliant and Matt responded quickly to all our messages. We were able to go away and not worry at all. We throughly recommend Matt, the dogs were safe and the house was left more clean and tidy than we left it! Thank you so much Matt.”

Joanna M.

“Jo was great with Patch taking him for long walks and keeping him cool in the heatwave as much as possible! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jo and will be using her in the future.”

Bethany H.

“The fact that Darcy didn’t bark while Bethany was looking after him, and that he was fast asleep next to her on the sofa when I got back, is the biggest positive endorsement I can give! A really lovely person who clearly loves dogs. I’d love to have her back again.”

Sarah B.

“We can't believe our luck finding Sarah! We were let down at the last minute from a family friend who was meant to be house/dog sitting for us and I managed to find Sarah through Rover.com. We have a very large and (can be) difficult dog. Sarah was not put off by this and offered to come on a house visit and dog walk to get to know Storm prior to the sit. Storm bonded with Sarah straightaway and was extremely relaxed and happy in her company. We left for our 5 days in Berlin with complete confidence that Storm and our home were in great hands. Sarah sent us regular photos and updates each day and kept Storm to his normal routine. She was not phased by his high prey drive and she handled him perfectly. When we returned home the house was immaculate and Storm was a very happy contented dog. I would highly recommend Sarah and would not hesitate to book her again when required. I know Storm will be very happy to see her again too! :-)”

About: I was brought up with dogs. I have a lot of experience with owning dogs. I used to be the loving owner of a labrador. I knew exactly what he wanted when he wanted it. I understand dogs body language and what they need. I have always been able to be in touch with the emotions of a dog. I work from home. Part time. It would be so nice to get from out of my home office and put a little joy into my day by walking dogs. I have a safe large enclosed garden which backs onto open fields. We also live in a village location with lots of lovely country walks in the area.

Moni K.

“I was apprehensive leaving my dog with someone new as he had only been house-sat by family members. I was immediately relieved upon meeting Moni. My dog is a nervous boy but he took to Moni straight away. She is very considerate, trustworthy, and a genuine dog lover. I would 100% recommend her services. Thank you Moni!”

About: I have a 3 year old labradoodle who is the absolute love of my life and now lives between Swindon and Scotland - so I’ve suddenly found myself with plenty of time when he’s not here and so much extra love to give! I moved to Swindon from Scotland 4 months ago and now work solely from home! I tend to spend a lot of my free time wandering locally and finding dog friendly areas. I treat dogs like family and so would allow your Dog to do as mine does, I am absolutely ok with dogs on the furniture and they can have free roam of the house. I have a large fenced back yard which they can play in if they choose but I much prefer to visit The large fields near the back of the property. Having a loyal labradoodle I am used to nervous/anxious dogs who may need to constantly be beside me, that’s not an issue I will always give any dog 110%, I’ll take all the cuddles!

About: With an outdoor profession, I'm all about being out and about come rain or shine! Having had labradors all of my life, I'm used to handling medium to larger sized dogs from the get go - don't worry about your dog pulling me about on a walk either, I have plenty of experience with obedience and training, so even if you've got an overenthusiastic puppy (or someone who thinks they still are), I'm all about patience when it comes to heel. I have looked after dogs all my life, so have experience with younger and older dogs, on and off the lead - I'm not afraid to pick up a slightly sloppier poo when an older pet is having continence issues too. To me, one of the most important things when it comes to dogs is continuity, so if you're just going away for the day, or you plan to spend the weekend apart, don't worry about a thing: before you've even dropped them off, I'll make sure that we've got boundaries down and you can get me filled in on every little important detail. Snuggles and playtime are part of the guarantee ! My main request, please, is that your dog's flea and worming treatments are up to date. For first time bookers, don't forget to use my PromoCode to get £15 off of your first booking: ROBYND04823 Living solo, I have free evenings every day of the week after 6pm for dog walks or pop-in feed visits. I have my own transport to facilitate movement, if required. I'm free most weekends too so can provide overnight board if you plan to go away - I will have the entire weekend devoted to giving your beloved best friend every moment of my attention, be that for walks, cuddles or teaching tricks. I have a fenced garden with a field out back, as well as a field out front. There are plenty of beautiful walks nearby to go for a stroll. Whether your dog has it's own bed, prefers a crate, or wants to sleep up top with me, I will respect their usual routine. Depending on the boundaries that you have set in place, I will react accordingly to their needs.

Sarah K.
“Sarah is really great with all kinds of dogs and looked after mine with great care and attention. Would highly recommend! She is also in a fantastic countryside location.”

Clare G.

“Clare looked after my chihuahua Archie while I was away for the weekend. Straight away, I could tell that Archie was very comfortable around her, and I came back to find him happy and relaxed. Thank you, Clare, I will definitely be asking you to dog sit for us again in the future :)”

Alexander B.
“Alex looked after our two cats, aquariums and frogs whilst we were away for 10 days. Communication was great both prior and during our holiday, with regular updates on how our pets were doing and some lovely pics of the cats. We came home to very happy cats. Alex made sure to give both cats attention including playing with our kitten. Alex was very tidy and left the house immaculate, which was lovely to come home to. We wouldnt hesitate to have Alex house sit for us again or to recommend him to anyone!”

Jess W.

“Jess stepped in and came to look after our 2 dogs as we had to attend a family funeral at the other end of the country. Due to her obvious love of dogs and professionalism we were able to focus on family matters without having to worry about the welfare of our dogs. We eventually returned home to be greeted by our 2 happy and relaxed pups. Stress free and much appreciated at a difficult time for our family. Thank you Jess x”

Itza M.
“Itza is a reliable and trustworthy person who takes excellent care of everything. As someone close to her she is always playing with my dogs and treats them as her own, so I would fully trust her to show such love and care towards other pets. She has a special communication with people and animals alike, I think she would make a perfect pet caregiver.”
