About: Daily routine care for my pet rabbit and experience with cat sitting and occasional dog sitting for friends and family. I have also had various small pets previously. I’ve recently left education and am now working part-time with minimal commitments through the week so I am available for both long and short stays! I love animals and give them my full attention and respect, lots of hugs and cuddles! I’m quite active and hyper aware of my surroundings meaning that I’m always looking out for anything that would put me or the pets in harms way.

Communication with Joanna was excellent throughout the process, and she asked for all of the necessary information about Whiskey (routine, food, commands etc) prior to boarding. Joanna sent updates, videos and pictures throughout his stay, which was lovely and put our minds at ease. Whiskey loves everyone but I have never seen him build a bond as quickly as he did with Bally. Both dogs were bereft when we had to leave but I have already rebooked for next month and will definitely use Joanna’s services going forward. John has mountains of experience with dogs and despite knowing all the potential challenges, he happily took Jackson on while we were away for the weekend. We felt totally assured that John would be able to deal with whatever Jackson couls throw at him and we were really pleased to hear thay the most mischief he managed was stealing sofa cushions and taking them into the garden for attention. John has a lovely home, a safe enclosed garden space, he is flexible and reasonable with drop off and pick up times, and we highly recommend him to give your dog the care they need.”

I could not be more grateful to Hannah (and her family) they had our bundle of energy (3 year old golden lab) for 5 days 4 nights. Hannah kept in contact leading up to and during his stay. Max went on lots of lovely walks and adventures and was made part of the family. We were kept informed with messages and pictures and at no point were we worried about our boy as we knew he was in safe hands and having the best time. Penyo and his family took great care of my Rolo. He kept me updated with pictures, took him for walks and played with him. Rolo looked very happy and content It was lovely to meet him and i would highly recommend him and will definitely use his services in the future.
A very big thank you to Jo and Chris and of course Bally for taking such good care of Barney whilst we were on holiday for 10 days. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
