Loving and reliable pet care!
I have over 6 years’ experience living with and caring for dogs in a family home and regularly look after my parents’ dog in my own home. I’ve also helped care for pets for family and friends, including feeding, walks, playtime and keeping to their usual routines. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and understand that every pet is different. My home is already well set up for pets and I know how important it is for owners to feel comfortable knowing their pet is safe, happy and well looked after while they’re away.

Ava absolutely loved to stay with Lucy and Ali, they left daily updates on how she was and when she had a walk. Ava seemed sad to be left home again and waited at the window for Ali to come back again, I would trust and recommend them again to anyone who needs a pet sitter as Ava has been very well looked after. My beautiful dachsie Percy had his first overnight stay with Lucy and her partner, and he had a great time. Lucy and her partner are lovely, they are so caring, friendly, reliable and sent me photos of Percy during his stay. I can see they love animals. Percy was full of beans and happiness when I collected him. Thank you so much both.

Wilf, our bouncy 9 yr old bearded collie had his first day stay with Lucy and her partner on Sunday and he had a great time. Lucy kept me updated and even asked if he was allowed a specific doggy Ice Cream as a treat. Would defo be booking again! Thanks guys!
Lucy is a big animal lover. She solely cared for our rabbit, cleaning out his hutch routinely every week and making sure he was fed a healthy diet. She was the only person he would let hold her and it was clear this was from how caring she was for him.
Lucy is exactly the person you’d like to look after your pets. She’s caring, reliable and organised and loves animals. She was even called an ‘animal whisperer’ as a child. If I’ve ever needed to leave my pets with her and Ali, I feel reassured and happy, sometimes I think they’re disappointed when it’s time for them to come home!

Schedule
I am mostly available for boarding and sitting over the weekend but my partner also works from home and has flexible working arrangements during the week and would be able to look after a pet from our home where needed or come and visit your pet to let them out for loo breaks and take them for walks.

Safety, trust & environment
My partner and I dog sit frequently at my own home so the house is safe and well equipped for dog/pet sitting. There is nothing particularly fancy I would be concerned about a pet damaging we have been used to all kinds of messes. The house is locked, there is plenty of clear floor space and we have a sizable fully fenced off garden that a dog can be let outside freely without need for close monitoring. I am confident dog sitting in other homes also, being responsive to any mess, leaving the home in good condition and making sure the owners dog or cat is looked after and feels relaxed.
A typical day
I enjoy the opportunity to be outdoors, take dogs for long walks and play fetch with them. I try to make sure at home and on walks dogs are stimulated and engaged physically and mentally, using treats in toys for example. We have good facilities in the garden and have no issues with mess from walks!
