John has mountains of experience with dogs and despite knowing all the potential challenges, he happily took Jackson on while we were away for the weekend. We felt totally assured that John would be able to deal with whatever Jackson couls throw at him and we were really pleased to hear thay the most mischief he managed was stealing sofa cushions and taking them into the garden for attention. John has a lovely home, a safe enclosed garden space, he is flexible and reasonable with drop off and pick up times, and we highly recommend him to give your dog the care they need.”

I have lots of experience with nervous and high energy dogs. I was the sole carer for my senior dog with health issues for many years, so I have experience looking after dogs with additional needs/that take medication :) - I am available most weekdays (usually only available until 4pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and weekends, at short notice if needed! About: I’ve always dreamt of owning a dog but while that dream awaits I have occupied myself with family and friend’s dogs. From a young age I’ve always been interested in learning about animals I would read every animal book i saw, watch all the tv shows on national geographic and the kid channels from shows like Deadly 60 to Crickey it’s the Irwins. “Our Border Collie is lovely, but typical of his breed. He herds everything, pulls like a train on the lead at cars, and struggles to find his off switch. John has mountains of experience with dogs and despite knowing all the potential challenges, he happily took Jackson on while we were away for the weekend. We felt totally assured that John would be able to deal with whatever Jackson couls throw at him and we were really pleased to hear thay the most mischief he managed was stealing sofa cushions and taking them into the garden for attention. John has a lovely home, a safe enclosed garden space, he is flexible and reasonable with drop off and pick up times, and we highly recommend him to give your dog the care they need.”

About: I’m a lifetime dog lover, the kind of person who finds happiness cuddling a dog and they have always been my life. We have recently lost our beautiful 14 year old Springer Spaniel Charlie, so I have plenty of love to give. I rescued and fostered dogs in Cyprus, eventually adopting Jasper, the German shepherd after many health and behavioural problems, he sadly passed away a few years ago, taking a huge chunk of my heart with him. It’s the when they say they don’t give up on the hard dogs they will teach you something you never knew you needed, he taught me patience! We fostered Hugo the German Shorthaired Pointer and rescued Lexie the Cyprus mongrel from the road, finding them the most perfect home. I am a fully qualified dog groomer who owned a very successful business specialising in the dog who needed a little bit more time, love and a calm 1 to 1 environment. I’m looking to house sit and dog walk to get my fix of dogs before we adopt a retired military working dog in a few years. I work part time so I have plenty of time to look after your pets, I can house sit on weekends and can also do long weekends. I have years of experience with dogs of all sizes, I have knowledge of dog first aid and having a springer I’ve used it a lot! I’m confident with larger breeds.
