Have your Pet treated with care, love & affection
Hi my name is ian. My family and I are all dog lovers and we were the Proud owners of a Yorkshire terrier for 15 years from birth, whom we greatly miss. We have looked after a number of other dogs since, kncluding a number through Rover now and we really enjoy the company and pleasure that the pet can bring to our lives. It all started with a a West Highland Terrier over the Christmas period 2023 and we haven't looked back since it gave us the impetus to register with Rover. And being pet owners ourselves previously, it's nice as an owner to know that you can enjoy away time from your pet in the knowledge that your pet is being well nurtured and well cared for. My wife and i are both retired now, so can be fairly flexible and have the freedom to spend more time with your pet and would take care of it as though it were our own. We are both active and enjoy leisurely walks and have a number of parks nearby where we can exercise your pet, whether this be boarding, or doggy day care we would welcome the opportunity.

Eric loves his visits to see Ian and Sharon and despite it being very hot this time, he still had lots of fun and we knew he would be well looked after. Eric is already looking forward to his next visit next week!

Schedule
Retired couple living fairly active lives and the exercise will do us no harm. Apart from holiday's we are pretty flexible and we both enjoy the company and satisfaction that a dog brings to our lives.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We live in a safe environment, Our house has a back garden, which is enclosed and mostly turfed. There are also a number of parks that are in close proximity
A typical day
Exercise is a fundamental need and taking care of a dog i feel will give life more of a purpose, going out for long walks in different places and getting the dog used to different environments and other dogs. I would envisage the dog being part of the family playing games and attending family events including Ball Play, Cuddle time and in close proximity for overnight sleeps.
- 0 to 7 kg7 to 18 kgDogs over 1 year oldNo females in heatTakes only 1 client at a timeIan can host up to 1 pet per night
- Firstly it is important to know about any allergies and conditions which restricts the dog from eating and partaking in any activities. It would also be good to understand the dogs eating/sleeping patterns and know of and likes or dislikes.
