About: We’ve had dogs in my family since I was 4, and now living away from my parents i desperately miss them! We’ve had mostly very active spaniels, as well as more spaniels and terriers in my wider family. I’m very dog-orientated, understand the responsibility of looking after a dog, as well as taking into account the personality and sensitivities and needs of each dog individually. I work full time but work from home twice a week, and can be flexible most weekends with enough notice. I’m very keen to help out with dog sitting, or walking as needed. I have a fenced garden which backs onto a very quiet residents’ car park. We have plenty of green spaces and fields nearby. Our small estate is extremely quiet as well.

About: I am dog first aid trained. I have owned dogs for all my life, I have had experience all types of dogs some with nervous aggression and also dogs who love others a bit too much. I am happy to walk all types and energy of dog. We currently own an adorable Yellow Lab called Lily, she gets on with every dog but will do a meet and greet to make sure they get on before securing any boarding Due to working shifts some days I will be available all day others only able for drop ins. My husband works 9-5 so will be around all evening. Check my availability or pop me a message to find out more of my availability. We are happy to walk dogs and give lots of cuddles when needed! We have a fenced garden for playtime outside and have one beautiful yellow lab to make your dog feel at ease when staying with us. We allow our dog free range of the house for the day but are willing to crate if needed.
“My 4 month old Whippet puppy Lottie just stayed with Quentin for two nights and it was absolutely brilliant. Lottie got lots of walks and playtime outside in Christchurch meadow and special attention when she needed it. Quentin kept me fully updated with photos and all of the latest news, and was very flexible and accommodating with my travel arrangements. He dealt with her diet, exercise and sleep requirements with such calm and patience. I would love Lottie to go back to stay next time, I think she has made friends for life!”

About: I have had pets around me my whole life and am very comfortable with walking, feeding and giving them cuddles. I have done pet sitting consistently since I was 14 and look after my own dog myself when my parents are abroad. I love being around all kinds of pets and am keen to gain experience where needed. I am a student at university and so during term time I would like to take care of pets in the late afternoon and evenings as well as any time on the weekends. However, during holidays I am keen to work at whatever time works best for pet owners and I am highly flexible. At my university house and my summer home I have a fully fenced garden that is dog proofed. In my summer home I have one small Yorkshire Terrier who gets along with other dogs (she’s the boss of the house). Both houses offer a comfortable environment with blankets to snuggle on and food and water.

About: Hi, I’m Emma! I’m an experienced dog owner with two friendly rescue dogs and a passion for providing safe, enriching care. Whether your dog joins us for a walk, daycare or overnight stay, they’ll receive the same love, care and attention as my own dogs. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by animals and even had the privilege of helping train guide dog puppies, which developed my understanding of patience, positive reinforcement and dog behaviour. I now have two amazing rescue dogs who are both neutered, friendly and love meeting other dogs. We enjoy lots of walks and adventures, so your dog will have plenty of exercise, but I also believe mental stimulation is just as important. I love teaching tricks, reinforcing commands and encouraging good manners through positive training — your dog may even come home having learnt a new skill! My aim is to make every owner feel completely at ease while they’re away. I provide regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy and enjoying their own holiday too. I’d be very happy to answer any questions and arrange a meet-and-greet. I work a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide plenty of companionship, regular walks and enrichment throughout the day. Mental stimulation feeding every day. Most days the door is open for the dogs to enjoy the garden - they tend to sleep for most of the day after their morning walk. I have a secure fenced garden for those who are looking for boarding / sitting. An estate car with dog guard for those who are looking for pick ups / walks. Always carry a dog bag with poo bags, treats, toys, camera and have a 10m long line for those who don’t have a great recall.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
