“I’m very happy to say that my darling doggy has come home very happy indeed. Not only as his fur been brushed beautifully and his diet followed, but he’s a very happy dog and it is obvious that he has had plenty of exercise throughout his stay. Communication was prompt and excellent. I felt absolutely certain that he would be well looked after following a face-to-face meeting with Jazz and her beautiful Malachite. Jazz’s professionalism and clear confidence means that I will be asking her to look after him plenty more times. I’m only sorry that I didn’t have time to speak with her partner who came to drop my dog off as well as her. I was extremely tired from my travels but couldn’t wait to see my fluffy boy. His stay was definitely a five star occasion, thank you again.”

About: I have been a dog owner since my early childhood. I have experience looking after puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently have a very energetic dog that requires lots of walks. I am also available for dog walks and pet sitting most weekends. I can house and pet sit or do drop in visits as and when needed provided it is within a driving distance and detailed instructions are provided with regards to pet care if your pet has custom requirements.

“Ines was wonderful. She looked after Mabel and my flat so well, and I felt completely at ease leaving things in her care. Communication was great, and I would happily recommend Ines and book her again.”

“Alberto was awesome from start to finish. He gave Lola so much love and affection and really really spoiled her. Communication was exceptional and kept us informed on all aspects of her stay with many messages and photos. He was so warm and friendly and a genuinely wonderful person. Lola was so happy and loved her time with Alberto and his family”

“Kate is really friendly and accommodating. She looked after Buckley and responded to his needs with true understanding and he soon settled into a new space. She is caring and sent several really lovely photos during both days. Buckley was calm and happy when I picked him up later in the day. In addition, Kate communicated really well and promptly throoughout both days. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who is looking for doggy day care.”

“Our Daisy had a wonderful time with Alex and the other dogs in his house. It was the 2nd time he took care of her for the day and I am very happy to have found someone like Alex to take good care of her when I need to be away on business.”

“Deanne was very friendly and well prepared for Nevis first visit. He was happy to see her and rushed into the house. He had a lovely walk with her and Poppy. Completely happy for Nevis to stay again with Deanne.”

“Emma was really fast to respond to our request and so flexible. This was the first time we'd left our puppy for more than an hour or two so it was great to have the updates and reassurance. Ralph is looking forward to the next visit!”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs since I'm very young. My passion for dogs has always been strong and I'm my happiest self when I'm around them! I have a family dog at home, a cocker spaniel, who's 13 years old and that unfortunately I don't see regularly due to me living in the UK for 8 years now. Before moving to England, I looked after him, walked him multiple times a day and played nonstop! I miss him dearly and I would love to give the same treatment to other dogs out there. If you give me an opportunity I would put my heart in this and you won't regret it. I'm currently studying my last year at uni, and I really miss being around my dog, who is with my family in Spain, so I thought it would be a good idea to give my love to other dogs meanwhile! I work only one day a week, on Sundays, I have Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays available. And if you need for me to take care of you dog at night I would also be able to! I would love to spend my free time being around dogs and taking care of them as if it was my own! Although I live in a small flat and I don't have garden or terrace, I do live near big fields here in cumnor hill so I can give long walks! I can travel by bus or walk and I would be more than happy to, if you need me to go to yours.

“Heidi has had an incredible day with Victoria. Victoria has been absolutely amazing. From the initial meet to drop off and pick up. Nothing has been too much trouble. She sent pictures of Heidis day (which was amazing for a nervous mum) and Heidi was completely relaxed and happy at pick up. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you”

“Minnie had a really enjoyable short stay with Quentin. He took really good care of her and provide regular updates including photos. Highly recommend Quentin for anyone visiting Oxford, especially given the city centre location.”

“Dale was accommodating from the start. He stayed in frequent contact with pictures and updates. Buckley was calm and relaxed when I arrived home with him. He had clearly enjoyed his day. Dale and his partner were lovely and very complimentary about Buckley. I would definitely use them again!”

“Very happy with Rebecca and her doggy day care. She was flexible in taking my last minute booking, which I was grateful for. It was the first time leaving my 7 month year old pup with someone and I couldn't be happier and was extremely well informed of how she was getting on during the time I was away. I will definitely book again and again with Rebecca”

“Thank you so much for looking after my girl at such short notice 🙏 Litzi and Mike are so friendly and confident with doggos - there is just no worries at all leaving your dog with them. Simple as that. Wout will happily come back (if you’ll have her! 😉🤩)”

“She is great, Bori came back home and slept five hours straight which I took as a real fun hanging out with Amanda’s doggo during two walks. He looked like he had a good comfortable day.”

“Simba has been going to Sarah regularly now, and it’s so reassuring to see how excited he gets every time he arrives. Sarah keeps us updated throughout the day with lovely photos and videos, and it’s clear from his happy face that he has the best time playing with the other dogs. Sarah takes such great care of Simba and I couldn't be more grateful. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a reliable and caring doggy day care provider to look after your fur baby:)”

“Snowy came home content and calm. She'd clearly been cared for really well by Casey. Casey is reliable; communication is excellent. Thank you very much, we will definitely be asking for more days!”

“We really appreciated the last minute dog sitting Lenna agreed to do for Bruce. When we arrived Lenna was very friendly, Bruce was very excited she was happy to allow him to explore the space to try to let him to settle. Unfortunately Bruce was quite unsettled during the morning which was evident when I picked him up. It was in part probably because he is quite a big puppy in a smaller space than expected. I was told Bruce also became quite unsettled with Lena’s husband who wasn’t present when I arrived to drop him off, and I was also told when we arrived initially that he wasn’t aware that Bruce would be there. Bruce is quite a sensitive puppy and would have picked up on the situation and I suspect this would have added to heightened stress which I think was felt all round.”

About: My wife and I both grew up with dogs, we've had our own for over 3 years now. We've been sitting dogs via rover for over two years now. We like to take our dogs for a long morning walk, around 5km and a shorter afternoon walk to make sure they're well exercised. My partner and I work mostly remote, there is always one of us at home so we are very flexible with sitting and walking dogs. We have a dog of our own, we always like to have a short introduction first to ensure they get on (we haven't had any rejections yet!). We always walk the dogs at least twice a day: a long walk in the morning and a shorter walk in the afternoon. We have a fenced garden with lawn area for the dogs to sunbath and run around in.

About: I am the proud owner of a one-year-old Golden Retriever who is truly part of the family. Having spent many years caring for and walking dogs of all breeds and sizes, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. As a member of the RAF based at Brize Norton, I quickly discovered how difficult it can be to find reliable and caring dog care. This inspired me to provide the kind of service I would want for my own dog—safe, loving, and tailored to each dog’s individual needs. During your dog’s stay, either myself or my partner will be at home throughout the day, ensuring your pet is never left alone and receives plenty of attention, companionship, and care. We have a secure, gated garden and a child-free home, providing a calm and safe environment for your dog. We are happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routines and preferences, whether that means relaxing on the sofa, sleeping on the bed, or having access to a crate if they find comfort and security in one. Our goal is to make your dog’s stay feel like a home away from home, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I work shift pattern so my available days will be my days off or when my partner is home so your dog won’t ever be left alone! I have a fenced garden and a 1 year old golden retriever who loves all dogs and will keep your fur baby company during their stay!
“I wasn't actually at home while Kate walked my dogs but I received all the text alerts and follow-up notes bang on time and was reassured that all was well. My house- and dog-sitter also sent me very favourable comments and the dogs seemed very happy to see her. Kate was walking the boys during the period of the intense heatwave and was due to take them out at 5.30 each day but very kindly came out during the evening instead, between 7 and 8pm, so that they weren't subject to the heat.”

“Daisy provided an excellent service. She was quick at responding to our initial enquiry and then was very thorough at the meet and greet ensuring she had all the info for Bert. She clearly loves dogs and Bert took to Daisy straight away. He enjoyed his walks with her and we got sent lots of pictures and updates of their adventures together. We will definitely be using Daisy again.”

About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember and have grown up caring for all sorts of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and even tortoises. Looking after animals has always been a natural part of my life, and from a young age I learned how important it is to give pets the love, attention, and care they deserve. I have the most experience with dogs and cats, particularly spaniels, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. Whether it's going for long walks, playtime, feeding, or simply providing company and cuddles, I always make sure pets feel happy, comfortable, and well looked after. I know how much pets mean to their owners, so I'll treat your pets as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you're away, giving you peace of mind that they're in caring and reliable hands. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend 😊 I work in an office in Witney three days a week and from home the other two, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit around your pet's routine. Whether they need an early morning walk, a lunchtime visit, an afternoon stroll, or an evening walk, I'm happy to work around what suits them best. I know how important it is to keep pets in their usual routine, so I'll always do my best to accommodate their needs and make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I also offer house sitting, so your pet can stay happy and comfortable in their own home while you're away. I'm happy to travel for house-sitting bookings as long as they're within around a 30-minute commute of Witney. I know how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and secure when their owners are away, so I always do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. Every pet is different, so I'll take the time to get to know their personality, likes and dislikes, and make sure they're getting the care and attention they're used to. Whether that's walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I'll make sure your pet feels happy and loved while you're away. Having grown up around animals all my life, I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and building a bond with each pet I look after. I'll also treat your home with the utmost respect and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and being well cared for.
About: Animal Lover ready to house sit and pamper your pets or walk your pooch Happy to do holiday sits or daily visits More mature lady who grew up with dogs mainly labradors and cats, had many cats during my working life, rabbits etc. My main passion is Siamese cats, for their personality, however, a cuddly moggy will do just the same If located within West Oxfordshire happy to do daily visits or walks or house sitting when available or to provide an on going service on a regular basis I live in Oxfordshire, however, I would be prepared to travel to cover annual holidays in different parts of the UK, preferably where there is lots of open space to be able to walk your beloved pooch
About: Further references available upon request! I have now been caring for dogs and cats for just over three yearss. In this time, I have been reliably available at any time to look after, care for, and walk these dogs. Ranging from young Labrador puppies, to older Dachshunds and all in-between, I am well-versed in looking after high-energy, but also calmer dogs. I am happy to spend hours outside, playing, walking and hiking, or spending a quiet day curled up on the sofa. I currently work freelance, from home, so I'm fully flexible around people's needs for themselves and their dogs. I love an early morning walk to get the day started, or an afternoon trip to break up the working day! On first visit, I am more than comfortable to talk about your expectations from a dog-sitter. If you do not permit your dog to be on the sofa, I also will not allow it. If they are only allowed to eat from their food bowl, I will ensure that this happens whilst they're under my care. If you do not allow your dog off-leash on walks, I will abide by this also. Any rules that you have for your pets, I will strictly follow, as I know that training and repetition are key for well-behaved and happy dogs.

About: We’ve had dogs in my family since I was 4, and now living away from my parents i desperately miss them! We’ve had mostly very active spaniels, as well as more spaniels and terriers in my wider family. I’m very dog-orientated, understand the responsibility of looking after a dog, as well as taking into account the personality and sensitivities and needs of each dog individually. I work full time but work from home twice a week, and can be flexible most weekends with enough notice. I’m very keen to help out with dog sitting, or walking as needed. I have a fenced garden which backs onto a very quiet residents’ car park. We have plenty of green spaces and fields nearby. Our small estate is extremely quiet as well.
About: I have had dogs in my life for over 30 years. I am experienced in their welfare as well as being a massive animal lover. I currently work 3/4 days a week and am self-employed. This means that I have plenty of time to look after your precious furry friends. I'm a hairdresser and so if your pet would be happy and settled in my salon, I could easily take him/her to work with me too. If not, I would schedule my work so that I can pop home regularly. I am a 5 minute walk away. I have a secure garden and safe home. I have lots of toys too. I'm good at following any instructions which work for your pets.

About: I have had pets around me my whole life and am very comfortable with walking, feeding and giving them cuddles. I have done pet sitting consistently since I was 14 and look after my own dog myself when my parents are abroad. I love being around all kinds of pets and am keen to gain experience where needed. I am a student at university and so during term time I would like to take care of pets in the late afternoon and evenings as well as any time on the weekends. However, during holidays I am keen to work at whatever time works best for pet owners and I am highly flexible. At my university house and my summer home I have a fully fenced garden that is dog proofed. In my summer home I have one small Yorkshire Terrier who gets along with other dogs (she’s the boss of the house). Both houses offer a comfortable environment with blankets to snuggle on and food and water.
About: Unfortunately i lost my best mate Bodie (Cockapoo) at the start of the year, and although I’m not quite ready yet for another dog permanently i miss the walks, fun and day to day energy having dogs in the home brings. I’m off or working from home for most of the summer (and beyond) so have great availability and flexibility. I am up from 7am and active going for bike rides, walks and trips to the park. Pick ups and drop offs can be flexible, we are in Witney Town centre. We have recently moved to the area, so having fun exploring different trails, cafes, walks and countryside near by. I have a large fenced garden with easy access for dogs to run in and out of from the back of the house. It’s 5 minutes walk from the large local park with lots of space for a run!

About: I’m a reliable, caring animal lover who treats every pet like they’re my own. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. I work three days a week as a children’s nurse, so I have flexibility on my days off and outside of my shifts to provide reliable pet care. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or overnight stays. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and make sure your pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve. As I live in a flat, I prefer to care for pets in their own home where they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and stick to their normal routine. I’ll treat your home with the utmost respect and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. “I would whole heartedly recommend Amanda (& her supportive family), to all dog owners who cherish their pet & would like a home-from-home holiday experience for their dog. Great to know your pet is exercising & spending their time with Bailey, Amanda's own spaniel. Great receiving photos during the stay as well. Hollie will certainly be back, next time we go away, if Amanda has availability. First rate dog sitter.”
