Welcome 🐾💗 I’m Gina and I’d love to spoil your pup!🐶 I’m a fully insured dog lover 👩💼💗🐾 Looking after animals is a calling for me! I am a registered Nurse and Psychotherapist & I work mostly remotely for the NHS and live with my husband and no children. I bring a playful but calm, compassionate, and attentive approach to every dog I care for. I only have one dog at a time and will therefore spoil your four legged fur baby 🐕🐾 I am a fosterer for the blue cross but don’t have any pets myself. I have completed canine foster carer training and E learning alongside doggy first aid ⛑️ Since I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent companionship, regular walks, mental stimulation, and a peaceful environment throughout the day. I only book dogs in when I can offer them full care & attention 🐾♥️ I love walks, and I have access to over 80 acres of enclosed fields and woodlands. This area is fenced and secure 🐾 I also paint animals in my spare time 🐾 🎨

Gina and Brad were absolutely fantastic with Rocky, they loved him like he was their own dog. He was treated and had lots of cuddles and fantastic walks. We absolutely loved having daily updates and lots of photos to see what he was up to with them - he always looked so happy. Will 100% book again next time we need someone to look after him. Schedule
I live in a detached home with a garden gate. I currently work for the nhs in operations management and mostly from home (I plan around this to ensure my husband is at home if I am out, and to ensure they aren’t left for long periods of they don’t tolerate that well). I wake up early and will take your dog out straight away, I usually do a long walk in the morning at the local country park and frequently breaks throughout the day and nourishment activities such as ball games and chase. I will only leave your dog for short periods if they are comfortable with this and will check with you first. I would usually only leave the dog to go food shopping or to the gym etc. I’m a very active person myself so I will ensure your dogs exercise needs are met as well as ensuring they have rest and down time. I will keep water out all day for them and ensure they are fed as per their routine.

I am fully insured and have an up to date combined dbs for adults and children (last completed October 2025). I am a qualified nurse and Cbt therapist. I have been on rover since the summer of 2025 but I have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I bring a deep understanding of canine behavior and individual care needs. From high-energy breeds to more sensitive or senior dogs, I've provided tailored care that includes everything from daily walks, specialized feeding routines, medication administration, and post-surgery recovery support. Whether it’s energetic puppies or elderly dogs needing gentle attention, I can offer a calm, reliable presence and a genuine love for animals that ensures each dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for in my company.
A typical day
I have a doggy instagram with some of the dogs featured I care about. If you are happy I will add stories of your dogs stay with me. Instagram is :@holistic_hound_haven. I will of course hide any details like address from collars. A typical day: I live at home with my husband, my husband adores dogs too and sometimes helps with walking, feeding etc so I will brief him on any details, sometimes he works away too. Whilst your fur baby is with me I will offer nourishment, play, hide and seek, pull toy play and anything you request. My typical day would be morning walk, play with dog after walk, provide breakfast (at owners request re timings), time for a rest while I’m working for an hour or so, toilet breaks, lunch time walk, early dinner, evening walk.
