5. Sam H.
“Sam is a very friendly, caring and professional young man whom I would recommend to anyone to care for their pets. He is reliable and trustworthy and always willing to provide photos and messages if requested.”

6. Lydia F.
“Lydia is very caring and empathetic. She has from a young age loved dogs and has a good understanding of knowing boundaries and how to care for them. She has always cared and walked our family dog, who she asked for 11 years ago. He is a Jack Russell, Buster. I can go away in the knowledge that he is safe, well cared for (he is on heart medication) and loved, whilst he goes to stay with Lydia. I recommend Lydia highly for walking your dog.”

12. Willow O.
About: I’ve taken care of animals for four years so far. I mainly work with a nice family who often go away for holidays, I’ll spend a few nights at their house, with 3-7 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 chickens. Can confirm calendar is up to date till the end of 2025 I am currently out of work and available 24/7! I can’t do dog walks/check ins outside of Cheltenham, but I can do house sitting. This is because I do not have a car and buses are an absolute nightmare nowadays. I can do boarding now that I am home the majority of my time. Rover does take quite a chunk out of my pay, so if you are looking for a regular sitter please consider straight bank transfer. I have a very friendly border collie named Eddie, that any dogs can play with, and a cuddly cat called Cleo, though she is not the most playful

13. Kristen H.

“Kristen was excellent, George very much enjoyed staying with her and the family of dogs and cats. Loads of photos updates everyday and updates on George. Defiantly booking with Kristen again for our next holiday! Thanks Kristen”

14. Marta W.

“Poppy very much relaxed and enjoyed her first stay with Marta and we would book another stay with confidence.”

15. Annabel B.

“Annabel was absolutely great with Reg and took wonderful care of him while he stayed with her. Her communication was great and very flexible.”

16. Ines Filipa M.

“Ines is a caring and considerate doggy person. She took such amazing care of our 14yr old boy for a week, we can’t thank her enough. He came home happy and chilled, like he’d had his own special holiday. Daily updates and pictures ensured we were kept informed and she even suggested new tricks for us to use for if he gets anxious or starts refusing food. Her experience shines through and Mougal can’t wait for his next holiday with her.”

17. Hannah C.

“Hannah is a superb and we would highly recommend her to look after your dog. We had never used Rover before and it was a last minute panic after being let down by a dog sitter. Hannah immediately made us at ease before meeting. She and her partner are very welcoming on arrival and any worries about leaving your dog with strangers disappears completely, leaving in the safe knowledge that they care about ensuring your pet is happy and safe. We received daily updates and pictures and have no doubt our dog had an amazing stay. We will be booking Hannah again for our next holiday. Thank you ?”

18. Anna D.

“Anna and her family were great. Offered a pre meet to get to know our dog. Kept us up to date and Buddy had a great time. Will definitely use again. Thanks 😊”

19. Joanna J.

“Thank you to Jo for looking after our little dog Pepe whilst we went away to Devon for 3 days. This was the first time we had left her overnight with someone else. On two other occasions we have left her with Jo during the day and would be very happy leaving her again. Pepe seemed to settle down and enjoyed her stays, the walks and beautiful garden.”

20. Zoe D.

“Zoe is a phenomenal dogsitter. She sat our dogs twice, a year apart, and they were so happy to see her the second time that they zoomed about the garden with happiness. I drove about 2 hours to leave my dogs with Zoe rather than anyone else, and I don’t regret it a bit. Cannot recommend highly enough.”
