About: Hi! We‘re Alex and Stef, a young couple originally from Austria and we have been living in Cheltenham for 4 years now. We have both been around pets our whole life and after we have moved to England together, we decided to spend our free time looking after pets. This has mainly consisted of housesitting on another platform, but also walking dogs locally in Cheltenham. We have completed over 45 housesits, looking after 55+ different dogs, and many lovely cats. We have looked after large dogs, young dogs and puppies, but also older dogs. Same with cats! On some occasions we were lucky to gather experience looking after horses, turtles, rabbits, chickens and fish. We also have experience with drop-in visits. Note about Dog Day Care - at the moment we sadly cannot have pets in our home for a full day, as we live in a rental flat without a garden, but we thought we would still offer the service as we really like to go out on day trips with dogs, be out and about and explore. This would consist of a long walk, then maybe settling down in a dog friendly cafe for us to do our work, and then going on another walk. But really, it depends on what your dog generally likes to do - we are very happy to adapt to each dog specifically. Of course, we know that this is not for every dog; however we found that it works really well for some - so we wanted to offer it on here too. About: I first began taking care of animals when the neighbors would ask my sister and I to watch their cats and small animals while away. Then I finally convinced my parents to get a family dog and that’s where most of my experience is! During covid years, my friend and I have been doing house/pet sitting for family friends for the past year and I enjoy it so much. Unfortunately we lost our precious family dog Jack a couple years ago and having moved from the US to the UK, I am seriously missing animal interaction ! I am pursuing a masters degree in social work from UoG and am currently on a full-time placement until the end of July. During placement I work Monday-Friday, 9-4:30 but am available in evenings and weekends. Once placement ends I will have much more free time and flexibility. While I am currently living in an apartment and will not be able to bring your pet home with me, I enjoy going for long walks in some beautiful neighborhoods or parks of which Cheltenham has plenty to offer! I have been house and pet sitting pretty much full time since January 2019 and, to date, have completed 110 sits in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand all receiving 5 star reviews. I am retired so can give your pets plenty of attention in their home with long or short walks for dogs outside and happy to continue with any training they might be doing. Cats will get lots of attention also if they wish I will ensure that I keep to the routines of feeding, walking and sleeping that your dogs are used to. I will be alert to any changes in their demeanour and take appropriate action should they become ill. Having been a house owner for over 40 years I will also ensure I take action should any home emergency occur

About: I’ve looked after so many different breeds of dog for family, friends and neighbours, including my own pug and frenchie. I’m confident in applying topics medication, grooming and bathing I work flexibly full time, working from home 4 days a week. I go on daily hour long lunchtime walks anyway, as well as being free most evenings and weekends I’m comfortable in crating and grooming pets, as well as giving them peace or cuddles when they need or want it. About: My partner and I have a 6 year old Sprocker called Tilly. She’s full of energy and loves other dogs! We know that Tilly would love having a friend to play with. She is very well socialised. I also grew up with a family dog 🐶 We allow dogs on the sofa and beds and have a garden - dogs can be let out as often as required. We are a very active family and love walking - we mainly walk Tilly off lead in enclosed fields, but can be flexible to suit another dog’s needs. I took Tilly to puppy training classes regularly so have experience in training young dogs. I am currently working from home so very flexible for daycare and dog walking. Tilly gets two walks per day (and sometimes a third short one in the evening), so we are able to walk as much or as little as required! :) We have a safe, fenced garden for dogs to play in. Our home is very dog friendly and we allow dogs on all furniture including beds if this is what your dog is used to. We do have a one year old baby, however he is not in the house between 8-5:30. We can therefore only accept dogs who are okay around children. I currently work from home for the majority of the week so am able to offer dog walking and day care on those days. On the days I work from home I take our dog on multiple walks. We have a secured fenced garden for dogs to play in and we live on a quiet road. I can tailor to your specific dog – for example, if they are crate trained or not allowed upstairs / on furniture.

About: I’ve always had a family dog since I was born - two weinmaranas. This encouraged me to walk both neighbours and family members dogs from a young age of 10. Therefore, animals have always been a passion of mine leading to me committing to a zoology degree at university. It has taught me how important animals are for our ecosystems as well as for our own health. Apart from university, I have no other commitments meaning I am only available on weekdays: Monday/Tuesday- 12:40-4:30, Thursday/Friday- 9:15-12:30. I am fully available over the weekend. Shona did a great job at caring for my cat and 2 guinea pigs for a week. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
