I’ve owned both a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix and a Miniature Pinscher mix, so I understand that every dog is unique, whether they’re a gentle giant, a little bundle of personality, or somewhere in between. I also worked in an animal shelter, where I cared for animals of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. My role included walking, feeding and transporting animals, caring for dogs recovering from surgery, helping new arrivals settle in and providing day-to-day care. Some dogs were full of confidence, while others were nervous, reactive or very high-energy and needed more patience, space and understanding. That experience taught me how important it is to adapt to each animal rather than expecting every dog to behave in the same way. I’m comfortable caring for reactive and high-energy dogs and understand that certain situations — such as meeting other dogs, runners, cyclists or being somewhere busy — can be challenging for them. I’m happy to follow the routines, boundaries and training methods you already use, and I’ll always work at your dog’s pace rather than putting them into situations they’re uncomfortable with. About: I am new to the pet setting world, however I've grown up and owned dogs all my life (including collies, spaniels, jack russels and labs). I've looked after friends dogs and spent time walking dogs on borrow my doggy. I'm patient and comfortable with many animals, including cats, guinea pigs, rabbits etc. I am not currently in a position to have pets where I live. Hence, me offering this service to spend time with animals, and to give others piece of mind when away. I do have a job, which is why my free time is predominantly first thing in the morning, evening, Friday afternoons or weekends. I am happy to discuss possible lunch time drop ins via messenger. I work full-time, however I'm in a hybrid role so can spend time with your loving pet while I'm on my lunch break. I can also finish work at 4pm, so plenty of time to go for a long walk or play in the evenings. I only work half days on Fridays and often have weekends free. I only offer care for pets in your home, so they are used to the environment. When out walking I also won't let them off the lead until we are confident they will recall.

I’ve cared for and walked numerous pets for friends, family members, and neighbours since I was young and have two dogs of my own. “It's my first time using a pro dog sitter, and I was nervous as I have an elderly Pugzu and a nervous Frenchie puppy so kennels aren't an option. Needn't have worried, my boys thoroughly enjoyed having Stefani and Alex look after them, even my nervous/reactive puppy was as happy as anything! I received plenty of brilliant photos of my boys smiling away and updates throughout the visits! Was so nice to enjoy our day out without worrying, and we came home to two very happy boys who wanted to tell us all about it! Will absolutely use again, 10/10! 😊”

About: I’ve always had a family dog since I was born - two weinmaranas. This encouraged me to walk both neighbours and family members dogs from a young age of 10. Therefore, animals have always been a passion of mine leading to me committing to a zoology degree at university. It has taught me how important animals are for our ecosystems as well as for our own health. I’m currently at University and have a part time job meaning I enjoy the downtime when being able to take care of a pet. About: We have experience housesitting with dogs, as well as walking and checking in on dogs. We have previously taken dogs to the beach, hiking in wales and paddle boarding. However, we usually do a walk around the parks. Sam has grown up with large dogs, and Crista has grown up with cats. We are renting so cannot have our own dog but would love to look after yours for the day Crista - currently a student Mon-Wed mornings, with availability at all other times. Sam - working full time time Monday-Thursday and available fri-Sunday. We will take the pets out for a day out with us We are happy to come to yours to look after the dogs or just to pick them up, we unfortunately cannot have dogs in our flat but we will be wanting to take them out for the day anyway.
