About: I have a BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and have trained and raised well behaved puppies and kittens. I have taken care of dogs and cats over the last 12 years (as well as the occasional lemur or capybara!), as well as taking care of my own animals. I currently work in the care sector and so have a clear enhanced DBS certificate which I am able to display on request. Any animal in my care is never left without appropriate care, exercise and enrichment. I am available before and after work, and weekend care is flexible depending on your pet’s needs. I have my own puppy at home - a 8 month old Border Collie named Lyla! She adores other dogs and would be very excited to say hello and have a little play together Each dog is different and has different sensitivities or anxieties, building a trusting relationship and understanding of the animal is a key priority. If walking your dog, I have a 15m training line that I would prefer to keep attached to your dog until I am confident in their recall, both for their own safety and the safety of others. My own puppy, Lyla, can be very excitable and sometimes is a bit much for other dogs. She is always kept on a training line around other dogs until they have developed an understanding of each other. If your dog is showing signs of being uncomfortable with Lyla around, she is well crate trained and so can be kept separate from/walked separately to any other dog that is in my care.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, which has given me an intuitive understanding of pet behavior and needs. Friends, family, and neighbors have always relied on me to look after their beloved animals. Whether it's daily feeding, energetic playtime, or long, refreshing walks, I ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I am highly reliable, attentive to specific routines, and dedicated to providing the best possible care. I work entirely from home, which means pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. Your pet will have constant companionship throughout the day. I structure my schedule to include regular potty breaks, structured lunchtime walks, and plenty of interactive playtime, making me highly available for both weekday and weekend care. I provide a highly secure environment by keeping a watchful eye on all pet interactions. Whether in my home or yours, I double-check that all gates and doors are securely locked before letting any animal off-leash in the yard. I treat your home with total respect and keep it clean and organized.

Bethany looked after our three cats while we were away for a few days. She kept us informed after every visit and included many photos, which was reassuring. We would certainly ask her next time we plan to be away.

Annie and Benjamin provided a drop in visit for us. They did a meet and greet a few days before, and on the day they did exactly as we had asked. We had never left our dog before but unforseen family circumstances left us worried about what to do. We had no need to be worried, it was so reassuring knowing that our boy was in good hands, Annie and Benjamin were brilliant and cannot thank them enough.

About: I'm a genuine animal lover who works from home, so your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. I share my home with my friendly 18month old spade female Cockalier and my laid back 5 year-old male cat, both of whom are used to being around other animals. We have a 2 bedroom house in the countryside an has a large, secure garden for playtime and exploring, and I guarantee at least two walks every day, tailored to your dog's energy levels and routine. I aim to provide a relaxed, home-from-home environment where pets feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether your dog enjoys playing, snoozing on the sofa, or receiving lots of fuss and cuddles, they'll be treated like part of the family. Of course, there will also be plenty of treats (with your permission!) and regular updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. We take out spaniel out for a long field based walk every morning and then start work for 9am in my office. I take regular breaks to play in the garden or cuddle on the sofa. We usually have an afternoon walk around the neighborhood before finishing work at around 5pm and the evening is available for all pets and guests. Offering pet sitting services in a client's home would not be a problem if I can work intermittently on my laptop throughout the day. We have no regular commitments at the weekend so often find new dog friendly cafes, walks and places to visit. Our dog is secured in her crate at night in my office, and our cat has the use of the kitchen and utility and will be outside most of the day. We have a high fenced garden, with a large patio area and large grass area. A large open plan kitchen/living room, utility and office. And 2 bedrooms upstairs. Pets are welcome to the whole house including beds and furniture. Feeding, walks and nighttime routine can all be customised and followed by owners preferences.

Harry was my first Rover booking. He accepted a very short notice booking quickly. He suggested and managed to squeeze in a pre booking visit. I hadn’t thought this was possible. I really appreciated this as it meant I was totally relaxed when I was out as I felt I had the measure of him and he had the measure of the dogs. They clearly liked him! He was calm, kimd and professional. All went without a hitch. A great job and I’ll happily book him again.

We were so pleased that we found Sarah to drop in on Poppy, our little working cocker spaniel. Sarah came to see us the evening before, to meet Poppy and discuss the arrangements, and then fed and walked Poppy during the drop ins while we were at our son's wedding. She sent us some lovely photos of Poppy and details of the visits. It gave us such piece of mind, particularly as Poppy hasn't been well. Poppy was very settled and content when we returned. I can heartily recommend Sarah, and, if we lived closer, we would be more than happy to use her services again.

About: PLEASE NOTE: I am only offering boarding and day care in the dog owners home, in effect, I would also be house sitting for the dog owner. PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately I don't drive and can only take requests from dog owners who live near a bus route or train station. I have always had an affinity with dogs; or rather they have an affinity with me! Dogs I have never met before always bound up to me and want to play! I have a very calm and patient personality which I think dogs pick up on. This in turn calms them and makes them feel comfortable. I am also an artist and a lover of the outdoors, which means I am always aware of my surroundings, taking in information that could inform my art as well as the surroundings the dog is in - I take my time whilst walking dogs as it's important for them to explore the environment they are most comfortable in - the outdoors. I work part-time so I will be able to work round people's individual needs. I will block off on my calendar when I am unavailable I always follow sitters specific instructions regarding how well their dogs are around other people, other dogs and stick to specific areas permitted by the owner.

Olivia is amazing with our Labrador puppy Maverick, she drops in a couple of times a week with him and tires him out so he naps during the day. He absolutely loves her and you can tell she treats the dogs as her own. Constant updates and feedback on how he got on was sent too which was really appreciated. Highly recommend!

About: I have done cat sitting for some time now, I take care of cats in my area, dropping in twice or more a day to play with them, feed them and have a cuddle! I also take care of my sisters cockerpoo, she is a wonderful dog but full of energy so I can handle this too! I’m currently working as a solicitor apprentice. I have 8:30-5 job on Monday - Friday. However, Wednesday I spend at home on my study day! I can drop in on my way to work and on my way back. I can also drop in later on in the evening too. Whatever suits you. I will follow exactly what you require. I understand that all cats are different . Some love attention , some want to be on their own. Any dietary requirements, I will stick to. My own cat has his own special food so I am aware of different brands and different needs.

Sian was amazing, we are very grateful to her for taking such wonderful care of our two cats. She used the drop in logging and visit report features really well, so we felt really well informed, and her communication was excellent. When we got home the cats weren’t bothered, which must be a sign of how well looked after they felt 😂 thanks again Sian!

About: Most recently I’ve been a dog sitter for Estelle Manor hotel & members club. I’ve cared for both puppies and adult dogs and understand how different their needs can be. I raised a show dog and grew up supporting rescue puppies, so being around dogs has always felt natural to me. I’m calm, patient and attentive, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently have full availability white I take a hiatus from the 9-5, which allows plenty of one to one attention with your pup. I'm flexible with routines and can adapt to what your dog is used to at home. I have a fenced garden and a spacious ground floor for your dog to explore. Dogs are welcome upstairs too, with a comfy bed downstairs for elderly pups or those new to stairs. Lots of walks through the village and Fields to keep them exercised while you’re away.

About: I absolutely adore animals, and my gentle giant Loki and I love welcoming extra furry (and feathered!) friends into our world. Whether it's a quick pop-in to check on your pet, a refreshing walk, or staying over to keep them comfortable in their own home, I treat every animal with the same care and patience I give my own. At home, I share my life with Loki (a giant breed dog), 2 cats, 2 chickens, and 3 quail, so I'm genuinely comfortable with all kinds of animals and their quirks, big, small, feathered, or four-legged. As a giant breed owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to hand over care of a large or strong dog, and I bring that same calm, confident energy to pets of every size. I live in the countryside and spend much of my own time outdoors, so walks are never rushed. I know beautiful routes right from the front door, plus a short drive to woodlands, parks, and National Trust grounds 🌳. For house sitting and pop-ins, I focus on keeping your pet's routine consistent and stress-free, so they feel safe and loved while you're away. Your pet isn't just "looked after" with me. They're cared for the way I'd want mine cared for. I work from home so your pet will always have some company. I can accommodate your special pet care needs and happy to provide whatever you need! I have a gated courtyard and a large grassy garden for your pets to enjoy! Your pet will be welcomed into our loving, caring and secure family cottage.
