About: I’ve grown up around pet and working dogs. So have experience with a wide variety of dogs. Currently I own 2 cats and a hamster, and have experience with lots of small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs and degus. I’ve also worked in pet shops for over 4 years I have a degree in animal behaviour, a certificate in animal first aid, my own business insurance and a basic DBS. I’m working part time with 30 hours a week at the moment. This makes me available from 2:30pm on weekdays. Full availability for Sundays and Mondays currently. I have lots of experience with a variety of dogs. In your own home you can expect me to treat your pet with as much care as you do. Wether that means feeding and watering them or spending some time playing games in the garden with them.

About: I have 6 years previous experience as an animal welfare assistant, Where there have been a variety of rescue dogs with all different needs some for example have been blind, puppies and very old dogs along with there individual quirks. Also there was a range of cats from completely feral farm cats to kittens and even rescued house cats who loved a lot of fuss and treats. I also have two dogs of my own an 11 year old springer spaniel who is a rescue and my 1 year old cocker spaniel who I have had from 9 weeks old. Since growing up in a village I have walked neighbours dogs and parents friends dogs since the age of 14. I’m able to do long and short term pet stays for both dogs & cats, day drop ins and also dog walks either 30 or 60 minutes😊 To help provide the best care for your pet I do meet and greets with every potential client to discuss there pets needs and see them in there home environment to lean more about them and learn there usually routine so I can stick to this to make sure there pets settled whilst providing care for them and they are getting the best care like they would with there owners😊

About: Since a young age I've always been around animals, especially dogs. I had my own which i was responsible for from a young age called georgeo, a black lab whom i still miss every day. I really enjoy going for walks and pursuing in training good behaviours. I do work full time in IT. I live in a flat but I'm trying to find a way where i can help the community and still enjoy interaction with mans best friend. I do play football on Monday/Tuesday and Thursday evenings however throughout the night and majority of weekends I'm normally available. At the discretion of the dog owners, i live in a one bed flat which i have looked after a couple of labs before and am more than happy to have them here. I'm not far from a really good walk which i regularly do myself to keep fit.

About: I have a BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and have trained and raised well behaved puppies and kittens. I have taken care of dogs and cats over the last 12 years (as well as the occasional lemur or capybara!), as well as taking care of my own animals. I currently work in the care sector and so have a clear enhanced DBS certificate which I am able to display on request. Any animal in my care is never left without appropriate care, exercise and enrichment. I am available before and after work, and weekend care is flexible depending on your pet’s needs. I have my own puppy at home - a 8 month old Border Collie named Lyla! She adores other dogs and would be very excited to say hello and have a little play together Each dog is different and has different sensitivities or anxieties, building a trusting relationship and understanding of the animal is a key priority. If walking your dog, I have a 15m training line that I would prefer to keep attached to your dog until I am confident in their recall, both for their own safety and the safety of others. My own puppy, Lyla, can be very excitable and sometimes is a bit much for other dogs. She is always kept on a training line around other dogs until they have developed an understanding of each other. If your dog is showing signs of being uncomfortable with Lyla around, she is well crate trained and so can be kept separate from/walked separately to any other dog that is in my care.

I have experience with lots of different types of dogs, so I am comfortable caring for different breeds, sizes and personalities, whether that means they have lots of energy, are playfulness, nervous, laid-back etc... I have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to know that your pets are happy, safe and well cared for while you are away. I am constantly dog walking, often on long walks, and I'm happy (if they enjoy it and need it) to give your dog plenty of exercise . I'm an actively fit person, so I love it too! For me, house-sitting isn't just about being in someone's home - it's about making sure their pets receive plenty of attention, companionship, love and exercise, while keeping them comfortable in their normal routine. I live a very flexible lifestyle and have much freedom in what I can do. I treat every pet as an individual and always aim to give them the same care and attention I would give my own pets. Quick Note - I have been looking after peoples houses and pets for a while now. I am new to Rover, before I used to advertise on Facebook. I'm currently working part-time. My job is very seasonal (busy in summertime) and I am not sure how long I will be staying there as of right now. I am starting an online business at the moment, so it is easy to work off my laptop when I need too. My schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced garden at home, I also have two lovely dogs. One is younger and a little more crazy, but she is good as gold. And my other is older and very chilled. they love having company and get along with all dogs. They are both Cocker Spaniels. I also have one cat, but she is hardly ever in the house - always out and about.
