Without a doubt the best individual to care for your babies. We had to extend several days and Amie was able to help us out over a period of about 2 weeks. Thank you Amie!

About: I have been a dog owner my whole adult life. My last dog lived to be 17 and my latest life angel Daisy, was a rescue at 12 months old. Taking on a rescue was harder work than I imagined but it is so worth the tough start. Daisy is now a well rounded, obedient loving dog that adores her little life now. She loves other doggies and so being a dog sitter will enhance her life and mine even more. I have a lot of time and love to give to your treasured friends. I have recently retired so I am at home all day after from those necessary trips out which don't take long. I am around all the time to look after your treasured angels I will take the time to understand your dog's feeding schedule, walking routine, exercise needs, and any special instructions before the booking starts. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure the environment is safe, calm, and dog-friendly with no hazards. I supervise pets carefully, make sure they get enough exercise and stimulation, and give them a comfortable place to rest. My priority is always making sure pets feel secure, cared for, and treated with the same patience and attention they would get from their owners. I am happy to send photographs throughout your pets stay with me.

Emily looked after my almost 10 year old moggy over Christmas and did a wonderful job! My cat was happy and well tended to, the photos Emily sent were a reassurance and much appreciated, reading how my furbaby was doing while I was away was a lovely way to feel like I hadn't just abandoned her. I can't recommend Emily enough, she connected well from what I can tell with my animal, and I felt that she was safe and sound in Emily's hands. I hope Emily would consider sitting for my feline again ?

About: I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from playful puppies to gentle seniors needing extra patience and attention. With hands-on experience in daily walks, feeding and basic training, I ensure every dog feels safe, loved, and part of the family. I understand that each dog is unique, and I’m dedicated to meeting their individual needs with care and compassion. What makes my dog sitting special is the secure, fun, and loving home environment I provide. Dogs in my care have the freedom to explore, play, and relax in a safe, dog-friendly space—no cages or stressful environments. I focus on creating positive experiences and happy memories, whether that means belly rubs on the couch, games in the yard, or peaceful nap times. I’m attentive to every dog’s comfort, and I treat them as if they were my own. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and well-being are my top priorities. I’m here to give you peace of mind while your pup enjoys a fun, caring stay! We no longer have dogs of our own so really enjoy having a doggy with us.. Available weekends to be at home and I work around your dogs normal routine. If dogs can be left for a period of time, helpful to know. Secure garden, access to local walks and park areas. It is important for me to provide a hole from home experience with the same rules. Bring your dogs favourite blanket toys. I am respectful when going to meet a dog for the first time, getting to know owners and dogs backgrounds and needs.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs since I was born. We’ve been lucky enough to have litters of puppies so I have seen dogs in all stages of their life making me well equipped in looking after your fur baby! I’m currently working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in the office and then I work from home Monday and Friday which I am available for boarding, walking and drop ins. I will look after your pet how I look after my own. Keeping a calm loving environment is always a positive start. I always think a tired dog is a happy dog so taking them for a nice walk means that they can be calm.

About: Although I haven’t had a dog of my own for a few years, my sister in law who I live with has a happy and energetic Pomeranian, who I often take care of. What sets me apart is the level of focus and personalised care I give to every dog I walk. Because I don’t have a dog of my own, I’m able to fully dedicate my time and attention to each pet, making sure their individual needs, routines, and personalities are always the priority. Hello, my name is Holly, I’m 22 years old and currently work full time as a GP receptionist and I’m looking to find something I enjoy with my spare time especially if that means helping people and being lucky enough to be trusted with your furry friends😊 Alongside my full-time role, I’ve built a consistent routine that allows me to offer pet care during mornings, evenings, and weekends. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure I’m punctual and dependable, and I prioritise giving each dog quality time, exercise, and attention. I’m available Monday evenings, Tuesday morning/ afternoon/ evenings, Wednesday evenings, Thursday and Friday afternoon/ evening and weekends are fully flexible. I am also happy to try and schedule any extra walks outside of these times given. I provide reliable and attentive dog walking, making sure each walk suits the dog’s age, energy level, and routine. I carefully follow owner guidance, keep dogs safe on the lead, and stay aware of surroundings at all times. I ensure a smooth pick-up and drop-off, leaving your home secure and your dog comfortable with water and time to settle. I’m also happy to send updates after each walk for reassurance.

About: I've lived with dogs all my life from the day I was born. I love all animals but dogs bring so much joy... they're a best friend.. a family member. I've owned a few dogs over the years, big and small... young and old... naughty and nice. I've also took dogs in who have become unwanted and kept them untill a good home has come up, all of which I'm still in touch with.. I visit regularly and I walk one of them with my dog twice a week. I also walk 2 other dogs for a friend and a family member with my dog at the local park. I meet up with othet dog walkers almost every day so that our dogs can ... just be dogs. My dog is a New Zealand Huntaway. He was born May 2017, he's over sociable and loves sharing his walks and his home with all dogs of any age and size as long as they like him too. He's very good with other dogs, he has no aggression in him at all... he runs away from dogs who play to rough. My cats are the boss with my dog and they stay out the way when othetr dogs are in the house. They're not dog lovers but they are tollorent. I love walking with dogs and my dog is almost a well trained dog. I always use time, patience, treats and praise... never punishment with my dog as I believe it's always going to work better. In my home... pets are family, they can have my sofa and my bed if they want unless a visiting dogs owner says no in which case I would respect the owners wishes but I feel comfort is always good.

About: I’ve taken care of big and small dogs and cats since I was 10 under supervision neighbors, friends and family when they needed me to go feed them, let them out for the toilet and play with them, I’ve done it on my own for 4 years I currently don’t work, I can look after your pets when you need, if you want me to stay with your pets over nights I would appreciate if you message me to make arrangements I would look after your pets at your homes as animals are more calm in their own territory and know their surroundings. Five stars is not enough to express how amazing this pet sitter is! She goes above and beyond to ensure pet welfare and happiness and makes sure to put the pet owner’s mind at ease. She helped us in an emergency situation and stepped in to look after our cats when we needed it the most. She nurtured our sick cat back to health and looked after our furry babies like her own. Couldn’t be more grateful and blessed to have found her and will definitely be keeping her contact for the future❤️

About: We have always had dogs in our family, I am experienced in looking after puppies, to dogs that get nervous etc. Since moving in with my partners family due to allergies we are unable to have dogs in the home. So I thought why not offer to look after other people’s dogs! I am home 24/7 currently, and looking to build up my portfolio on Rover. Any furry friends that come into my care will be waited on like royalty! Every dog can have different triggers/needs. Ensuring the dog has a safe space they can go to is vital, and also making sure any dangerous/harmful objects are out of reach, as I have first hand experience of a curious personality that knows no better!

About: I’ve always had dogs since I was young and have experience with many different breeds. I am fully licensed, fully insured, have a Level 3 with IMDT for dog boarding, have dog first aid and I am DBS checked. I work from home and so I am able to look after pets all day, we have Bordesley fields right next to us so will have daily walks and loads of toilet breaks and attention. If I do need to go out in the day it will be no longer than 2/3 hours. I have a son who is dog mad, he keeps asking for his own! Me, my partner and my son all absolutely adore dogs and we’re a very active family, often going on long walks or hikes, having days out at the beach or just having a rest day in front of the TV. I have my own personal insurance through Protectivity. Please ensure times are confirmed as I do work full time and have school runs, I need to ensure drop offs don’t mix with the school runs/any work meetings I may have. I have a fenced garden and walks just outside my house with a big field only a 2 minute drive away. They will get loads of big walks if needed or short walks for older dogs or shorter legs. We have a bath to wash them down if they get muddy and of course they are allowed on the furniture if that’s what they are used to. We are happy to do whatever works best for you, just let us know your requirements and we will honour them.

About: Hi I'm Ben, I live on my own with my two children Sophie (9) and Jack (7) who absolutely adore dogs and are very sensible around them. Soph and Jack are with me for a week at a time - week on week off so sometimes it will just be me looking after your dog. We consider dogs to be a part of the family. I'm a marketing manager for a charity based in Birmingham and can work from my home or we have an office dog policy so can take them into work with me. Long story short, your dog won't be left alone for any long period of time when they are staying with us. I have a 3 bedroom house with a nice fully enclosed garden and plenty of parks and beautiful countryside on our doorstep. We haven't taken the plunge and got a dog of our own (yet) but we love dogs and live vicariously through our friends and their pets. We're always out walking (with or without a mutt in tow) and often have dogs to stay when friends or family are away on holiday. I always had dogs growing up and both my sisters have dogs too so we visit them whenever we can. I'll be the one looking after the dogs day to day, but the kids won't be far away and ready for endless fuss and play. We'd be so happy to have your dog come and stay so you can rest assured that they will be very well looked after.

About: I’m a calm, experienced dog carer with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work freelance, so I’m home most days and able to give dogs plenty of attention, routine, and companionship. I’m especially good with anxious, sensitive, or older dogs who need a steady, reassuring presence. I work freelance in the arts so my schedule is very flexible and I’m home most days. This means I can easily fit pet care into my daily routine and give dogs plenty of time, attention, and consistency. The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Redditch pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Redditch choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
