This was the first time using this sort of service as our cat usually stays at catteries. Sarah and John were very professional and communicative, and clearly care about animals. We were kept up to date with regular photos whilst away and it was great to see our usually nervous around strangers and hiding, cat warm to them as the days passed by. We hope to have them looking after her again in the future. Thanks both!

Becky was absolutely brilliant. It was the first time I'd had to leave my cat, Marmalade, with nobody in the house, and I was therefore really anxious for her, but I needn't have been, because Becky fussed Marmalade on every visit, replenished her food and drink, and sent me full reports and photos to show me how happy and relaxed Marmalade was. This was incredibly reassuring, and allowed me to enjoy my holiday. I have already booked Becky to look after Marmalade the next time I go away. I would have no hesitation in recommending Becky

About: Hi My name is Michelle, I am a middle aged lady looking to keep myself in trim with walking but would very much like some company. I am certainly a dog lover, having looked after my own dogs in the past. So can I ask does your Dog need more exercise or just some company during the day or evening. If so I can help. Competitive Rates Diploma Certified Home Collection I would love to help look after your Dog. I live near a local dog friendly Park and also The Houseman Trail and the Three Royal Walks all around The Bromsgrove area so plenty of choice and walks to go on. Also happy to Dog Sit if you're looking for a day or evening out without your pet. Please give me a call and I can arrange to meet both yourself and your dog for a trial run if interested.

About: I've been around all creatures great and small for longer than I can remember, and have loved animals than I can remember still. My experience as a pet owner is with smaller mammals - I am the proud parent of two rats - while other pets I have experienced through relatives and family friends. I spent long summer days as a teenager cat-sitting for my grandma - I don't think Tuppence (the cat) ever quite warmed up to me, but she enjoyed using me as a place to sunbathe and very much liked when I would attempt to bribe her affection with treats. I have been around dogs my entire life and, more recently, have enjoyed work as a dog walker for a family friend and their animal-care business. This is where I have gained my professional experience in animal care, having completed a Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Diploma as part of this placement. Overall, I have experience with every variety of pet, including rescues and especially seniors. I'm currently formally unemployed, doing some casual work as a dog walker. Most of my time is spent with my gorgeous pair of rats (Baba Yaga and Kugrash), who are endlessly amusing and endlessly keeping me busy cleaning the out and creating new and incentive ways to engage them. As it stands, I have plenty of free time to spend caring for other people's pets - because every animal deserves the same love and companionship as my Mischief! I would be offering my services to care for your pet in your own home, so I would want to understand your typical routine and dynamic. In my Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma, I learnt best practices for maintaining safety and trust for all involved, including rudimentary pet first aid (which I intend to learn more about).

About: ***TRAINING AS A DOG BEHAVIOURIST*** ***FULLY INSURED*** ***ENHANCED DBS CHECK*** ***CANINE FIRST AID TRAINED*** I have always loved animals and as we couldn’t have a dog of our own when I was younger, I did dog walking and sitting for friends and neighbours. We got a puppy 18 months ago, and he has changed my life in so many ways. When we first got him he lacked confidence and could be shy with strangers, but through all the research I’ve done to try and help him live his best life, I've realised just how passionate I am about dogs and how much joy I get from being around them. 🐶🐾 I can offer walkies, drop-in visits and dog sitting in your home. I’m happy to stay overnight with your pup, however due to having a young daughter I can only do this for one night at a time. I'm also currently studying for a Level 6 Diploma in Clinical Canine Behaviour through the Canine Behaviour College. This course is the first of its kind as it's Ofqual-regulated and was developed by well-known veterinary behaviourist, Tom Mitchell. This means I have a good understanding of dog behaviour and body language and am learning new force free training games and solutions for problem behaviours. Happy to talk about how I can incorporate training into walks or dog sitting if this is of interest. Please get in touch with any requests or questions, and I'll do my best to help! I work 4 days per week, but 3 of these are from home and I have a lot of flexibility with my workload. Happy to discuss how I can be flexible and move my schedule around to meet your needs. I know from personal experience how nerve-wracking it can be to leave a member of your family with someone unknown. I’m committed to making sure your pets feel happy and relaxed with me and I’ll follow any instructions about their care that you would like to provide. Please give me as much information as possible about them - they're all individuals and I want to put your mind at ease that they’re being looked after as if they’re my own.

About: I’ve previously had my own dogs (lurchers, saluki cross and greyhound cross). I have also volunteered at a local rescue shelter for several years. Additionally I frequently look after neighbours and friends dogs as needed. I currently work on the bank for the NHS, I can pick and choose when I work but still require appropriate notice. This means I can be flexible to a point if notified early. Due to working in the NHS I have an up to date enhanced DBS. I can’t look after pets in my home as I rent, but I have plenty of places I can take dogs in the daytime or visit their own home.

About: When caring for your pets, they will always be treated as our own. We want to build a bond with them so they trust us and feel safe in their owners absence. Since we were young, we have always had a passion for animals and decided what better way to make use of our passion by looking after your furbabies 🐾 I currently work as a Civil Servant and I work from home. My job is extremely flexible working, which is why I have taken the leap to begin making my passion come to life. I am able to do walks before work, at lunch time and after work and can also do home visits around my work day. I am an active person, who loves my daily dog walks and being outdoors - but who also loves a cuddle too! We have a secure fenced garden, and 2 of our own dogs to keep your fur babies company. We will provide your pet with the stimulation and love they want and need!

About: I’ve always loved spending time with animals and have cared for cats and dogs for family and friends over the years. More recently, I’ve been house sitting and realised how much I enjoy looking after pets and keeping them happy while their owners are away. I’m a patient and caring sitter who takes the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine. I’ll always make sure everything is clear by asking questions, and I love sending daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. Whether it’s house sitting, walks or drop-in visits, I’ll treat your pets with the same love and attention I’d want for my own. Pet care fits smoothly into my daily routine. I set aside dedicated time for walks, play, feeding and attention, so I can give pets consistent care and companionship. During house sitting or drop-in visits, I make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely and can easily adjust to special needs or schedules. I also make it a habit to send updates and photos to owners daily, keeping them connected while they’re away. When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I treat their space and routines with the utmost respect. I follow any instructions carefully, making sure pets are fed, walked, and given plenty of attention and playtime according to their usual schedule. I’m patient and observant, so I notice any changes in behaviour or needs, and I make sure to communicate with owners through daily updates and photos. My goal is to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away. My partner, Harry, joins me during house sits, we're more than happy to do a video call or meet up before hand so you can feel safe and comfortable with us both!

About: I have been caring for animals since childhood from dogs and cats to birds and small animals. Throughout my whole life I have always had a dog ranging from small breeds to the larger breeds and have considered each and every to be part of the family. With this came the experience of caring for puppies, training and all the way through to the senior years. My Monday to Friday schedule is dedicated to pet care, dog walking etc and I am available for house sitting during both weekdays (after 3pm) and weekends. When house sitting during week days I will be with your pet throughout the late afternoon to the morning taking care of their needs, feeding, walking, playtime, toilet trips etc calling in throughout the day and full time during weekends. I also typically like to schedule a meet and greet before any house sitting bookings in order to confirm that I am the right person to meet your pets needs. When caring for your pet in your own home I will try to keep to their usual schedule as much as possible and treat them as if they were my own. I would appreciate it if you would tell me about your pets in advance, things like are they sociable with other dogs while out and about, do they have any allergies or medical needs, if they dislike strangers or certain noises. I would also like to know what they are like in your home, do they have a favourite place to sleep, are they allowed upstairs or on the furniture or do they have a specific routine that you would like kept to. I also hold a full DBS and am fully insured, which I can provide evidence for.

We are mostly at max capacity and busy with many repeat clients. We welcome your pet friendly dogs to come and stay with our family. Relax in confidence that we will treat your family member like we treat our own during their stay with us. Again an additional fee may apply for delays in collection to enable me to manage daycare and holiday stay numbers. Our max capacity is 14. We try to meet your needs but we are running a business and our numbers are limited by licence requirements and although we really try to help we cannot stretch the arrival and collection times too far out of your said times. Please take this into consideration when booking. Many thanks, Dea and the family.xx Full time pet sitter. Max capacity of 14. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all around and absolutely love them, the past year I have worked for a dog walking company. But would like more freedom and have decided to go out on my own. I’m currently doing a canine behaviours course, to give me a better understanding of why a dog could be reactive in a certain way and different ways to help them if I’m the right fit for the dog. I’m currently in the process of making my own dog walking company, I absolutely love going out on walks and being outside. And when you can combine that with a love of dogs, it makes the perfect job. I’m doing little jobs here and there so I can spend most of my time building something for myself, while doing my behaviour course. While doing a sit depending on what you would be wanting in the day, I will be with your pet from 6:30 till 8am the next morning. This way your pup will have plenty of company and can keep their evening routine. Depending on what your pups need I can also hire a secure field, so they can still get a good run around.

I would highly recommend Nicole. She has a very calming sense about her which was perfect for our German shepherd, who is nervous around new people but settled with her really well, and gave us peace of mind that our dog would be more than ok left in Nicole's care. Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Bromsgrove pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bromsgrove choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
