“Becky couldn’t have been more amazing!!! We were let down by our previous dog sitter and Becky saved the day. She gave our dogs all of her love and attention, kept us updated throughout the day, and attached photos which was a bonus to see how happy they were. Everything we asked was attended too so we and our dogs couldn’t be more happy with the service of Becky. We will be defiantly using her now for the foreseeable future. Thankyou very much ☺️”

About: ***TRAINING AS A DOG BEHAVIOURIST*** ***FULLY INSURED*** ***ENHANCED DBS CHECK*** ***CANINE FIRST AID TRAINED*** I have always loved animals and as we couldn’t have a dog of our own when I was younger, I did dog walking and sitting for friends and neighbours. We got a puppy 18 months ago, and he has changed my life in so many ways. When we first got him he lacked confidence and could be shy with strangers, but through all the research I’ve done to try and help him live his best life, I've realised just how passionate I am about dogs and how much joy I get from being around them. 🐶🐾 I can offer walkies, drop-in visits and dog sitting in your home. I’m happy to stay overnight with your pup, however due to having a young daughter I can only do this for one night at a time. I'm also currently studying for a Level 6 Diploma in Clinical Canine Behaviour through the Canine Behaviour College. This course is the first of its kind as it's Ofqual-regulated and was developed by well-known veterinary behaviourist, Tom Mitchell. This means I have a good understanding of dog behaviour and body language and am learning new force free training games and solutions for problem behaviours. Happy to talk about how I can incorporate training into walks or dog sitting if this is of interest. Please get in touch with any requests or questions, and I'll do my best to help! I work 4 days per week, but 3 of these are from home and I have a lot of flexibility with my workload. Happy to discuss how I can be flexible and move my schedule around to meet your needs. I know from personal experience how nerve-wracking it can be to leave a member of your family with someone unknown. I’m committed to making sure your pets feel happy and relaxed with me and I’ll follow any instructions about their care that you would like to provide. Please give me as much information as possible about them - they're all individuals and I want to put your mind at ease that they’re being looked after as if they’re my own.
“Katie was wonderful! Punctual, polite, and clearly loves dogs! She sent lots of updates throughout the day and Becks was happy and relaxed when we got home. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!”

About: Friendly, reliable and trustworthy, DBS checked 😁 my life is my animals and everything I do is for them. I have over 20 years experience looking after all sorts of animals including… Dogs Cats Small animals I have my own pets, 3 cats and 1 dog. I currently look after many people’s pets through myself, just new to rover. Experienced and confident with all ages, breeds and temperaments. I’m currently studying my Nursing degree so have lots of time free, I currently have a few clients who I pet sit for and looking to take on more through rover 🥰 I am happy to work around your pets routines and schedules as best I can with their needs, vigilant and responsible as if they were my own.

“This was the first time using this sort of service as our cat usually stays at catteries. Sarah and John were very professional and communicative, and clearly care about animals. We were kept up to date with regular photos whilst away and it was great to see our usually nervous around strangers and hiding, cat warm to them as the days passed by. We hope to have them looking after her again in the future. Thanks both!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all around and absolutely love them, the past year I have worked for a dog walking company. But would like more freedom and have decided to go out on my own. I’m currently doing a canine behaviours course, to give me a better understanding of why a dog could be reactive in a certain way and different ways to help them if I’m the right fit for the dog. I’m currently in the process of making my own dog walking company, I absolutely love going out on walks and being outside. And when you can combine that with a love of dogs, it makes the perfect job. I’m doing little jobs here and there so I can spend most of my time building something for myself, while doing my behaviour course. While doing a sit depending on what you would be wanting in the day, I will be with your pet from 6:30 till 8am the next morning. This way your pup will have plenty of company and can keep their evening routine. Depending on what your pups need I can also hire a secure field, so they can still get a good run around.
“With my sons hols coinciding this was our first time we had ever had a sitter to look after any of our pets. We selected Rebbecca because of her excellent previous reviews and also been local to our home. We had some concerns as our cat Joey is getting very old and is a fussy eater and ican have rhe occasional ‘accident’. (Which he did!!!!) All we can say is Rebbecca was excellent, over the 4 days we booked her for, she went betond our expectations, even sending us daily visit reports and images taking away all the concerns we had allowing my wifeespecially to enjoy her break knowing our familly pet was in excellent care. That leaves us with nothing more than praise and would recomend her to anybody looking for a quality pet carer, we will definately use her again”

About: I’m a qualified veterinary nurse who wants to ensure your fur babies are comfortable, fed and loved and cuddled whilst their parents are away! As a full-time veterinary nurse, I work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am–7pm, with one in seven weekends. This means I’m available for evening visits on weekdays, and I have regular availability for weekends, Tuesdays and most weekends for longer stays. I’ll always keep my calendar up to date so you know exactly when I’m available. Your pet’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come first. As a qualified veterinary nurse, I’m experienced in recognising signs that a pet may be unwell and I’m confident caring for pets with different personalities, ages and medical needs. I always respect each pet’s boundaries, never force interaction, and take time to build their trust. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel relaxed, secure and loved while you’re away.

About: I've been around all creatures great and small for longer than I can remember, and have loved animals than I can remember still. My experience as a pet owner is with smaller mammals - I am the proud parent of two rats - while other pets I have experienced through relatives and family friends. I spent long summer days as a teenager cat-sitting for my grandma - I don't think Tuppence (the cat) ever quite warmed up to me, but she enjoyed using me as a place to sunbathe and very much liked when I would attempt to bribe her affection with treats. I have been around dogs my entire life and, more recently, have enjoyed work as a dog walker for a family friend and their animal-care business. This is where I have gained my professional experience in animal care, having completed a Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Diploma as part of this placement. Overall, I have experience with every variety of pet, including rescues and especially seniors. I'm currently formally unemployed, doing some casual work as a dog walker. Most of my time is spent with my gorgeous pair of rats (Baba Yaga and Kugrash), who are endlessly amusing and endlessly keeping me busy cleaning the out and creating new and incentive ways to engage them. As it stands, I have plenty of free time to spend caring for other people's pets - because every animal deserves the same love and companionship as my Mischief! I would be offering my services to care for your pet in your own home, so I would want to understand your typical routine and dynamic. In my Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma, I learnt best practices for maintaining safety and trust for all involved, including rudimentary pet first aid (which I intend to learn more about).

My veterinary training means you can have added peace of mind knowing your pet is in experienced and capable hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine — I can dedicate 3 days a week to help with short breaks and visits, so I’m flexible and reliable when you need me most. It’s also something that feels completely natural to me: I have my own French Bulldog, and I grew up surrounded by dogs my whole life, so looking after pets isn’t just a service — it’s second nature. Dogs are part of my daily life already, so fitting in walks, check-ins, or overnight stays feels easy and enjoyable, not like an extra task. I understand their needs, habits, and little quirks from years of experience, which means your dog will get consistent, loving care that fits right in with my regular routine. How I care for your pet in your home I offer house sitting and drop-in visits in your home only — this is because I have my own beloved French Bulldog, Lila, who is my whole world! Keeping your pet in their own familiar surroundings means no stress from new environments, and also keeps Lila safe and settled at home too. When caring for your dog in your home, I give them the same loving, attentive care I’d want for my own: ✅ Sticking to their routine — feeding, walks, and bedtime exactly as you do, so they feel secure ✅ Plenty of love & play — lots of attention, gentle play, and fuss to keep them happy ✅ Full home security — I stay overnight to keep your dog company and look after your property too ✅ Regular updates — I can send you photos and little updates so you know they’re doing great ✅ Fully experienced — growing up with dogs my whole life and raising Lila means I understand their needs, little quirks, and how to keep them calm and content Your dog gets all the comfort of their own home, plus constant, caring attention — the very best of both worlds.
About: *I’m new to Rover, and offering an introductory rate* Hi, I’m Jen — a friendly, reliable dog walker based in Cofton Hackett, often out and about around Cofton Park, Barnt Green, and the Lickey Hills with some of my favourite four-legged pals. I’ve been walking dogs for over 6 years and doing a few pet visits over the last 2 years. I especially enjoy looking after small to medium dogs who like calm, relaxed walks full of sniffs and gentle exploring. I always take time to build a bond with each dog so they feel safe and happy with me. Whether it’s a quiet stroll or a little adventure, your pup will get patient care, plenty of attention, and lots of love. My goal is simple: to make sure your dog feels comfortable, content, and excited to see me again! I work from home most of the time, so can fit walks in in the morning, lunch time and after work. I also have some availability at weekends. When doing drop ins, I let the dog out for a toilet break, fill up water and food and fuss and chat to your dog.
“I had my first meet and greet with Louise. Very friendly and put my mind at ease, as I was anxious about the thought of someone looking after ernie that I don't know. I will definately be booking her services”

About: I’ve always loved spending time with animals and have cared for cats and dogs for family and friends over the years. More recently, I’ve been house sitting and realised how much I enjoy looking after pets and keeping them happy while their owners are away. I’m a patient and caring sitter who takes the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine. I’ll always make sure everything is clear by asking questions, and I love sending daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. Whether it’s house sitting, walks or drop-in visits, I’ll treat your pets with the same love and attention I’d want for my own. Pet care fits smoothly into my daily routine. I set aside dedicated time for walks, play, feeding and attention, so I can give pets consistent care and companionship. During house sitting or drop-in visits, I make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely and can easily adjust to special needs or schedules. I also make it a habit to send updates and photos to owners daily, keeping them connected while they’re away. When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I treat their space and routines with the utmost respect. I follow any instructions carefully, making sure pets are fed, walked, and given plenty of attention and playtime according to their usual schedule. I’m patient and observant, so I notice any changes in behaviour or needs, and I make sure to communicate with owners through daily updates and photos. My goal is to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away. My partner, Harry, joins me during house sits, we're more than happy to do a video call or meet up before hand so you can feel safe and comfortable with us both!
About: I am very loyal, trustworthy and reliable. I absolutely love dogs and dogs love me! I am experienced in looking after a variety of dogs and will offer you the upmost love, care and attention that your dog needs. I am very adaptable and very good at taking direction, so I will listen to your instructions and your dogs needs and follow them as necessary, just because I am really loving with some dogs, if you don’t want this with your dog, I know everyone is different I totally understand that and will do what’s right for you and your dog so please be re-assured you are in the right place. We can have a trial first if this helps to put your mind at rest. I want you to be able to be at work or on a night out, or even a long holiday and not be worrying in the slightest that your dog isn’t being taken care of properly, I know that feeling when our family dog was put into kennels for 3 weeks for a wedding and from that time I knew this is what I needed to do as some dogs just hate kennels if they have been bought up in a way and that’s when I decided to start taking care of people’s dogs that feel like they can’t go on holiday or go out as there’s no one like them to have them, non sense! I am your lady :-) xxx

Becky did a fantastic job of cat sitting our much loved family cat whilst we went away on holiday for 2 weeks. It was clear from her updates and photos that Charlie took to her straight away and we felt completely at ease with her taking care of him. She also very kindly helped with watering some house plants whilst we were away. We will not hesitate to enquire again for our next holiday!

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
