“Charlotte-Rose was absolutely amazing with my dog Daisy. She looked after her over Christmas and went above and beyond. She kept me updated with detailed reports and photos after every visit, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She was incredibly thoughtful and caring —Daisy clearly loved her and felt safe and relaxed in her care 🤍 I will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind and reliable pet sitter 🐾✨”

“Absolutely wonderful service! You took exceptional care of my chonky girl and kept me reassured with daily photos and thoughtful updates. I am genuinely grateful for all you’ve done. I will most certainly be booking with you again—thank you so very much!”

About: I have a small beagle, he is 9 years old, I brought him from Peru 1 year ago, He is extremely friendly with doggs and people, and he has been my loyal companion since I was 19. He’s more than a pet — he’s part of my family, my little one, and my reason to smile every day. I used to spend hours walking with him in the park, playing at home, and cuddling at night. My love for dogs started early — my first dog was a Shih Tzu when I was just 7 years old, so growing up with pets has always felt natural to me. I’d be thrilled to care for your dog as if they were my own. They’ll have not just company, but warmth, patience, and genuine affection. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or simply making them feel safe and loved while you’re away — you can trust they’ll be in great hands I currently work part-time (15 hours per week), so I spend the rest of my time at home, which gives me plenty of time to take care of a dog. I care for pets by providing them with a safe, comfortable, and loving environment, whether at my home or the pet owner’s home. I have a 9 year-old dog who is very quiet and loves to sleep, but I also spend a lot of time with him playing and keeping him engaged. I make sure all pets feel at ease, get plenty of attention, and follow their usual routines, including feeding, walks, and playtime. My goal is to ensure they feel happy and cared for at all times.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and believe dogs are not pets but family members. Your dog will be in the safest of hands and will be spoiled rotten, whilst you're away. My dog goes to doggy day care, when I go on holiday so I understand how people feel when leaving their family member behind (this isn't easy to a lot of people). I have my own dog and i've looked after family members, since the age of 21 (when they go on holiday). I've had and looked after a variety of dogs from Cockapoo to Staffy's to Grey Hounds. Currently have a 10 year old Cockapoo, that doesn't tend to have an interest in other dogs. Your dog will be walked, allowed on the furniture and beds and they won't be left on their own. I can bath them (at an additional cost) if required. They can also sleep on the bed or you can provide a crate, if this follows their usual sleeping arrangement. Currently work Monday to Friday so my availability is for weekend stays only. During the weekends, I will always be in unless i've notified you of anything different in advance. I have a fenced garden and live a 2/3 minute walk to a large park. I'll be in all weekend so no pets will be left alone. Your family member can sleep on the furniture or our bed. You can provide a crate for them to sleep, if this is the usual arrangement for your dog. Have access to the whole house. If I wanted to take your pet anywhere, I will always request this with yourself first.
“This was the very first time I've ever used a pet sitting service and I was a little bit nervous about trusting a stranger into my home to look after my pet, but I couldn't have asked for a nicer and more considerate person who genuinely loves animals than Kaitlin. There was updates and photos after each visit which gave us constant reassurance and comfort knowing Napoleon was in safe hands. Top marks. Very reliable and trusting. Thank you so much x”

“Thank you Jarrad. From original enquiry to booking, Jarrad was helpful and had great communication. Followed all instructions and looked after Abi well. Good updates and pictures on visits help put your mind at ease. Would happily recommend.”

“I’ve booked Cat for scheduled drop ins to keep my pooches company whilst I’m at work. She is friendly and professional with great communication and I felt more than comfortable with her having access to my home. Most importantly I suppose, Ozzy and Ralph love her visits! Would highly recommend Cat if you need someone to look after your pets!”

About: I’ve had the luxury of having dogs all through-out my life. I currently have a little Shitzu called Alfie myself and understand how much dogs mean to an in individual or family. I’ve also had great experience walking both family and friends dog’s in the past and treated them as my own on each occasion. I currently work full time however only work on weekdays. My schedule allows me to be free over the weekend starting on a Friday evening. I also have either a Monday or Friday off each week depending on the month so this helps massively with fitting time for your dog🙌🏼 I treat my own dog with love and care just as we all do and wouldn’t change this when being trusted with someone else’s dog. I understand the do’s and don’ts when it comes to dog walking and dog sitting. For example, when I work away I ensure my family are able to look after my dog as I realise just how important it is for dogs to be around someone to care for them on a daily basis. I will always do my upmost best to ensure as owners you’re happy with the service being provided. I will also ensure I can meet your specific needs depending on your dog.
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, and have wide knowledge of caring for animals. Also completed a pet sitting course which includes animal first aid. I have a dog of my own bichon so any visitors would need to be socialible with other dogs. I am happy to also visit your homes and sort animals out there in their familiar environment. I would treat any dog who comes to board at mine like a part of my family, this also includes letting them sleep on bed and relax on furniture. I am a caring individual who puts the needs of animals before her own. Your pets could not be in any safer hands, I know it is stressful when you need to leave them behind. You would not need to worry at all and I would send regular updates via any medium you require, including pictures of your pet I'm available for boarding at the weekends, and day care after 330pm on weekdays. I sometimes also wfh so can fit in dog sitting on those days too. Just drop me a message I have a fenced garden, and 1 friendly dog to keep your dog company. Dogs can relax on furniture in a calm environment. Very comfortable house.
“Laura was an amazing cat sitter for Midnight. She took extra care for our fur baby especially because she wasn’t well whilst we were away. She kept us updated and did additional care for her. It’s the little things that help keep your mind at ease. Thank you Laura for taking care of midnight and being an amazing cat sitter. X”

“Jill did a perfect job looking after Jess. She also went the extra mile watering my plants, keeping me updated with regular messages and photographs and contacting us about a household emergency whilst we were away. I would highly recommend Jill to anyone considering a reliable cat sitter.”

About: I took the main care role for the family dog from my late teens and helped out when needed up until the end. Love to look after any dog in need of love and attention. I have a fairly flexible work schedule with part time study. I will have my 7 year old son with me, he is a calm quiet loving little boy, I will have to have him with me on house sits so all dogs must be child friendly. We'll probably get on better with your dog than you, nothing personal we're just both on the spectrum. There's a communal garden outside my block of flats where dogs are welcome on lead. I have a long line to allow a dog some space whilst maintaining safety. There's plenty of field and park spaces nearby for walks and running around.
About: With over five years of dog walking experience, I've developed a strong understanding of canine behaviour, exercise needs and safety. I'm also qualified in pet and companion animal nutrition, with previous professional experience in the pet food industry, giving me valuable insight into diet and wellbeing. Alongside my background in pet sitting, I'm confident caring for animals in a home environment and maintaining their routines. I have experience supporting pets with a range of health conditions, including allergies and joint issues, and im attentive to their individual needs to ensure they stay comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I'm available weekdays until 3pm for dog walking services. I currently work part time during the school term, a few hours a day 2-3 days a week, which gives me most of the day to care for your pets! I have a young child and two dogs of my own therefore I would not board in my own home or board in your home overnight. Im flexible when it comes to how you wish for your pets to be cared for comfortably in your own home. I am happy to use your own leads and collars and other walking tools (except pronged collars) or I can bring my own lead.
About: I’ve spent years around dogs of all kinds - energetic puppies, mellow seniors, and everything in between. I treat every dog like they’re my own and aim to be someone they’re excited to see. I’m all about making tails wag - whether that’s through a cozy cuddle, a fun play session, or just keeping their routine steady while you’re away. I take the time to really get to know each dog, and I never rush the process. I also love sending photo updates if you’d like, so you can see all the fun your pup is having while you’re gone! I’m at home full-time and pretty flexible most days. If you let me know your schedule / routine and I can usually work around it! I don’t have any pets at home, so I can easily focus on your pet’s routine and do my best to meet all their care needs.

About: My family and I have always had dogs! Family and friends have relied on me to look after their precious pooches numerous times. Our family home isn’t the same since losing our precious boy of 15years! We want to share our home and love of dogs with others. We live in a lovely area with lots of lovely walks and have a secure garden. I understand the anxieties you feel on leaving your precious fur baby but can guarantee your dog will be looked after as if he/she is our own. We will keep up with any routine your dog is used to and keep you updated with pictures and communication to reassure and give you peace of mind to ease any anxieties you may be feeling! We would advise you arrange a meet up at our home to ensure you feel comfortable and confident about leaving your dog in our care and more importantly to get your doggies approval! Looking forward to meeting you and your pawfect pooch for lots of love and cuddles!! I work part time hours over 3 1/2 days a week, 5 minutes away from our home. My husband Jason works from home. We will strive to keep your dog in any routine they are used to! Have previously administered animal medication. If your dog is used to being crated that’s fine, but equally happy to share the sofa and bed if that’s what they’re happy with. We aim to provide a home from home environment for your fur baby!
About: Based in Wednesbury, I have been pet sitting for several years on Trusted House Sitters and House Carers as well as caring for friend's and family's companion animals when needed. I have experience looking after dogs, cats, rodents, sheep, birds, fish, goats, poultry, rabbits and cows in both the UK and France. Over the years I have built up an amount of excellent 5* reviews and references I offer pet sitting in your home or boarding. When staying in a client's home I take good care to leave it in an excellent, clean state. Your pet's welfare and happiness is of highest priority and I will ask for several details from you about his/her personality, likes/dislikes/routine/ health requirements and history etc including last flea and worming treatment and vet details. This enables a secure handover where both parties are happy in the knowledge your pet is in safe hands. I can also board small animals such as hamsters, rats, mice etc. I only board one pet at a tim unless they come together as one family. I have a secure high fenced back garden and a recreation field nearby for long walks. I have a certificate in pet first aid and DBS checked.( Please ask to see if you wish). As well as Rover reviews I have included copies of previous references and reviews in the photo gallery section of my profile from Trusted house sitters. There you can also see a selection of the animals I have cared for as a house sitter spanning many years. Please check my Rover calendar before contacting me to avoid disappointment. 🙂 I currently work from home so am available 24/7 to supervise your pet is boarding with me.. Please ask me for further details about availability and particular needs. I have a small, but welcoming house with wildlife friendly front and back gardens. There are no other animals living at my home so any boarders won't be sharing with any unfamiliar animals when coming to stay. In my past experience as a pet sitter I have cared for up to three dogs or four cats comfortably at the same time so I can board or come care for more than one pet if they usually live together. I understand the importance of sticking to routines and feeding schedules. Cats will be boarded at my home as house cats, with 24hr access to toilet facilities and a lap :-). I have experience administering tablet form medications and caring for disabled older dogs in their own home.

About: I have 6 years of experience in animal behaviour and animal husbandry, ranging from aquatics, domestic and exotic species. I am trained in dog and cat first aid as well as behaviour training for all species, this is to degree level. I have experience with dogs that have additional behavioural needs and may need extra tlc to feel at ease. I use public transport and walking to travel however this Is no barrier as I used to live in the Welsh mountains. I am available full time with no other commitments. I keep dogs on leash unless me and your pet have developed a bond over walking and they have good recall. I will follow all owners instructions on handling the pet, whilst making it an engaging experience, such as engaging on leash activities, and before taking off leash making sure the area is secure. I have experience creating enrichment that is calming and can occupy your pets time and divert energy.

Highly recommend - Jarrad is fantastic! You can really tell he loves what he does. He has looked after Hugo for the last two weeks and has previously in the year. Knowing we have someone who our 11 month Doberman adores and is cared for as if it’s his own. We love the updates / photos we get after each visit and appreciate the questions / info if he notices anything different that he thinks we need to know about. Highly recommend!

Darryl is my regular dog sitter/walker from now on. Great communication, always on time and most importantly great with my 2 x miniature bull terrier girls. Listens to all my requests and learns fast. And I don't have the easiest breed. Picked up fast on their quarks and managed to please my fussy/picky girl.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Walsall pet parents with similar pet households.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Walsall choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
