About: I've taken care of dogs since a young age when my family would dog sit for their friends. I regularly dog sit for one of my previous colleagues for up to 2 weeks at a time. Please Note: I generally do not accept bookings where cats are present at the property. Exemptions may apply but I must be informed before the booking is placed that cats will be present. This is due to allergies. Because I work remote, it means that I am able to be anywhere when I work which means that your pets will get the upmost attention that they deserve. I have a fenced area at the front of the property they can play on or a large park right next to me which is great for runs, walks and games. If needed, I can crate your dogs. My bed is fair game if they want to nap on it.
“Devon is absolutely brilliant! This is the third time we’ve booked cat sitting with Devon. Our cats were well cared for, and we received regular updates with photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommended!”

“Alisha has been brilliant in looking after our cat. She is attentive and caring and has kept us updated with photos and messages after each drop in which was very reassuring. We highly recommend Alisha!”

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals and have always had a strong love and understanding of pets. I have had dogs throughout my life, including a Labrador for 12 years and currently have my 7-year-old Cockapoo, Monty, who is energetic, friendly and loves walks, cuddles and playing tug of war. I regularly walk him at local nature reserves, provide his meals, grooming, bathing and brushing, and make sure he receives plenty of exercise, enrichment and attention. I also have experience caring for a variety of dogs through my mum’s dog sitting business, where I regularly help look after dogs in our home and join in with walks and care routines. I have looked after many breeds including Cockapoos, Shih Tzus, King Charles Spaniels, Maltese, Bichon Frises, Cavapoos, Dachshunds, Yorkies, French Bulldogs, Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels and more. I understand that every dog has different needs and personalities. I have experience caring for nervous dogs who need reassurance, more independent dogs who prefer their own space, energetic dogs who need lots of play and exercise, puppies learning routines, and older dogs who may need extra patience, guidance with mobility, medication or a calmer pace. I enjoy making dogs feel comfortable, safe and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s going for a walk, having playtime, giving cuddles, keeping to their usual routine or cleaning up after puppies during toilet training, I am happy to provide reliable and caring support for every dog I look after. I am currently studying at university and have a flexible routine that allows me to fit dog walks and check-ins around my timetable. I am available all day on my non-university days and holidays but I am also happy to offer evening visits after university. I understand that dogs thrive on routine, so I will always make sure I have enough time to provide reliable care, exercise and attention. When caring for your dog, I will make sure to stick to their normal routine as consistent as possible. I will follow your instructions regarding feeding, toilet breaks, exercise, medication and any specific needs your dog may have. During check-ins, I will spend time giving your dog attention, play, cuddles and reassurance, while also making sure they have everything they need. For walks, I will make sure your dog is safely secured before leaving the home, follow the owner’s preferences for routes and exercise, and provide a safe and enjoyable walk. I will always respect your home, communicate any updates and provide photos so you know your dog is happy and well cared for.
“Stacey was absolutely amazing with our Sushi whilst we were away. We received daily updates with pictures letting us know how Sushi was. Sushi was really happy with having Stacey around - she is usually wary of new people but during their first meeting Sushi was happy to let Stacey pet and fuss her! Would definitely recommend booking Stacey!”

About: I am a qualified Dog Trainer, with a BSc in Canine Behaviour. I have cared for family friends and neighbours dogs and even cute puppies! I’m currently volunteering part time but happy to adjust, depending on timings and owners’ preferences for their dogs. Ensuring dogs are happy and healthy! 1. I will ensure the environment is safe and secure on arrival and departure. 2. Making sure the dog(s) are okay and not stressed.
About: Growing up with dogs has instilled in me a profound love and respect for these loyal companions. My childhood taught me invaluable lessons in compassion, responsibility, and understanding the needs of dogs. I am committed to treating your pet with the same care and affection that I provided to my own cherished dogs in the past. Rest assured, your furry friend will receive dedicated attention and a nurturing environment while in my care. Balancing pet care within my part-time work schedule and weekends off as a dog sitter involves meticulous planning and dedication. During weekdays, I focus on afternoon visits, ensuring dogs receive essential care such as feeding, exercise, and companionship. This schedule allows me to cater to their daily needs while accommodating my work commitments. On weekends, with more time available, I dedicate myself fully to dog sitting. I extend walks, engage in longer play sessions, and provide additional attention to ensure each dog's well-being and happiness. This comprehensive approach not only meets their physical requirements but also nurtures a strong bond through consistent interaction and care. Overall, my routine revolves around providing reliable and loving support during afternoons on weekdays and full attention on weekends, creating a fulfilling experience for both the dogs and their owners. In my home, where I have a fenced garden, I ensure pets receive exceptional care in a safe and stimulating environment. Dogs under my watch enjoy regular access to the outdoors, where they can play, exercise, and explore freely within the confines of the secure fencing. This setup allows them to engage in natural behaviors while ensuring their safety.

“Nicole is amazing. We booked very last minute and she managed to fit us in. She sent us lots of pictures of our fur babies. Would 100% recommend her and will definitely be booking with Nicole again in the future”

About: Hi, I’m a reliable and experienced pet sitter based in Wolverhampton. I have over nine years of hands-on experience caring for my own pets, including both cats and dogs. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to provide care for either part of the day or full-day sessions depending on your needs. I take pet care seriously and make sure feeding times and walks are always completed on schedule. I use reminders when needed to ensure pets are well looked after, comfortable, and receive consistent care and attention throughout the day. I currently don’t work so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after a dog or a cat and almost every day I’m free. I take my dog on daily walks and I always make sure to feed her daily, sometimes I’ll take her on long walks around Cannock chase

About: My neighbours rely on me to walk and take care of their dogs, I hope you can rely on me too. I've also taken care of fish, guinea pigs, rabbits and cats so I'm pretty versatile with the care I can give your pets. I have also trained 2 dogs to be potty trained and do some tricks. I'm a uni student studying medicine at Uni of Leicester with a flexible schedule and a big love for dogs. I’m usually free in the early mornings and evenings, which makes walks and playtime easy to fit in. I’m also available on Fridays and weekends for dog boarding. Your pup will get plenty of attention, care, and cuddles while you’re away! I haven't got other pets in my home so it's easy to give all my attention to your pup. I’ve got a big garden that’s fully fenced for them to explore. There is a park just 5 minutes away from where I live so your dog can have a good time with fresh air. I've been dog walking for 3 years now so I hope you trust me with your dog and I promise to make sure they feel safe, loved and well-exercised.
“This was the very first time I've ever used a pet sitting service and I was a little bit nervous about trusting a stranger into my home to look after my pet, but I couldn't have asked for a nicer and more considerate person who genuinely loves animals than Kaitlin. There was updates and photos after each visit which gave us constant reassurance and comfort knowing Napoleon was in safe hands. Top marks. Very reliable and trusting. Thank you so much x”

About: Hey, im Beth, I have always had such a huge love for animals! I currently dont have any of my own animals, other than my hamster Augustus! I live in Wolverhampton and work from home monday-friday. My experience for pet sitting ranges from looking after young and excitable dogs for 1+ weeks in my home, to caring for elderly sick dogs who need that extra love and attention. I work from home monday - friday but do have to leave the house for 2-3 hours at a time for meetings a few days a week. In my own home, I have a large fenced, secure garden and allow animals to explore any area downstairs. During boarding, the dog will be sleeping in a kitchen/dining/living area where they will have a sofa they can sleep on or their own bed. At the pets home, i am happy to follow the rules and routines the owner suggests.

This was my first time using this app and i have to admit i was sceptical at first but Alex was amazing. Sparkey is a very shy and nervous cat, he hides from everyone but with Alex he was out and following her about everywhere. Sparkey has oral medication morning and night and Alex had no problem doing that. Will be using Alex again.

I am very happy with the care that Liz provided Gordon was very happy when I arrived back home from my holiday! Photos were sent during every visit with thorough updates on how he was getting on Gordon was enjoying his cuddles and looked very happy and relaxed! 😊 I will deffo be booking with Liz again in the future and would recommend to friends and family who are looking for a cat sitter! 😻

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wolverhampton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
