About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have lots of experience caring for dogs of different ages and personalities. Growing up, I had a Yorkshire Terrier called Rosie, who was part of our family for 18 years. Having Rosie throughout her life gave me experience with everything from the energy of a younger dog to the extra patience, attention and care that senior dogs can need. I’ve also walked dogs through BorrowMyDoggy in both Sheffield and London, as well as dog sitting for friends on a number of occasions, caring for both younger and older dogs. These experiences have made me comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines and needs. I genuinely love being around dogs and enjoy everything from long walks and playtime to cuddles and keeping them company. I’ll always treat every dog with kindness, patience and plenty of affection. I currently work part-time as a play worker at St Michael’s Primary School in Lichfield, with split shifts from 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm. This gives me plenty of flexibility during the day to fit pet care naturally into my routine, including walks, home visits, feeding and spending quality time with pets. Outside of work, I also help care for my nan, who has dementia, so being patient, dependable and caring is already a big part of my everyday life. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for, whether I’m looking after them in their own home or mine. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’ll follow any instructions you provide around feeding, walks, playtime and general care. I’m patient and attentive, and I’m happy to give pets plenty of affection and company while also respecting their space if they’re more independent or nervous. About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child myself and had a dog as a kid. Since then my own parents have had other dogs which I’ve obviously loved and cared for as and when, whilst unable to have a dog of my own. Circumstances - ie work - mean I can’t commit to having my own dog full time, to my son’s dismay, but we have so much love and affection for dogs that Rover is a perfect fit for us. I’ve only ticked availability for when my son and I can live our best life and share that time with your beautiful dog. We are always out and about exploring Lichfield and living life to the fullest…and spending time with a pooch pal would complete that way of life! Full disclosure we live in a flat but is as pet friendly as flats can be. We literally live opposite Stowe Pool playing fields and like I say to my 9-year-old, we have one of the biggest gardens in Lichfield. We would love a dog to walk, to stay with us and maybe even play cricket with us!

Our family home isn’t the same since losing our precious boy of 15years! We want to share our home and love of dogs with others. Our daughter Ella is a university student who is also at home. We are at home over the weekend. We have a secure garden, lots of lovely walks nearby. If your dog is used to being crated that’s fine, but equally happy to share the sofa and bed if that’s what they’re happy with. We aim to provide a home from home environment for your fur baby!
About: I have had over 10 years experience with dogs, either as my own (we previously had a lurcher) or via apps such as this one. I recently bought my own business and am therefore able to work flexibly, allowing for dog walking and pet sitting. I have 3 boys which keep me busy but would like to spend some time with animals too. My husband Darren has previous helped me out with dog walking (he is a huge dog lover also!) however this was with the permission of the dog owner. My kids have been around the dogs if I brought them back to our house, however this again was with permission of the owner. About: I’ve always loved animals and have lots of experience caring for dogs and small animals. Over the years, I’ve regularly looked after family and friends’ pets while they’ve been away. I often take my friend’s Chocolate Labrador around Chasewater and the surrounding areas while she’s at work, and I also look after my brother’s two dogs when he’s away. About: I’ve always grown up with pets in the household and I’m now lucky enough to be the proud owner of Betty, my 2 year old Cocker Spaniel and Coba my 6 year old male Bengal. Both are great with other animals as they’ve grown up around them. We have a small dog flap and a high fenced secure back garden with plenty of space for your fur babies to run around and play.

About: Had dogs throughout my whole life and looked after other peoples dogs. Got two cocker spaniels who are loving and lively. They adore other dogs and are very playful. They are both girl dogs. I’m currently available every weekend and weekdays from after 5pm. I am looking to reduce my hours at work to become more available. Very energetic and love taking the dogs on big walks to different places. Very caring and will make sure that your furry babies have the best time. I have a fenced off huge garden for them to play in. They are allowed on the furniture and the bed and I have two large crates for any size dog if needed. This was the first time we’d ever left Ari, so I was really nervous, but Rachel was absolutely brilliant and put our minds at ease from the start. She took such great care of Ari - setting up her automatic feeder, changing her water and litter, brushing her, playing with her and keeping her company while we were away. We loved the updates and photos Rachel sent while we were away. She even asked beforehand whether we’d like regular updates or would prefer to switch off and enjoy our holiday, which was really thoughtful. They made such a difference and meant we could relax knowing Ari was happy and well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Rachel again and I’m so glad we found her. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
