About: I have owned a variety of dogs of all ages throughout my life and at one point worked at a world famous dog breeder/boarding kennel. From all breeds to all temperaments and personalities, chihuahua to Great Dane, Border Collie to Basset Hound, puppy to senior, I have dealt with it all before. From working at the boarding kennels I know that home boarding is so important as kennels (although more affordable) do NOT cater well for your best friend. At Some kennels your pet will be lucky to get 30 minutes of human interaction a day (and even then I wouldn’t call it interaction). Once the kennel hands go home your dog is then locked away in a small kennel for 15+ hours until they start work again the next day, then they are let out to a run for an hour or two whilst they are cleaned and then put back in all for it to be repeated later that afternoon. Your pet is left lonely and confused for your entire holiday and then takes a while to re acclimatise to life with you afterwards. By home boarding with me you don’t have to worry about that, your pet will have professional, experienced care with the company of humans and other dogs 24 hours a day. Their every need will be catered for and you will be sent regular updates on how they are getting on. I am able to provide basic medication for your pet if needed and if you have a pet that doesn’t like to swallow tablets I have experience in how to encourage them take it. I have also completed online qualifications in animal care and dog grooming so I have educational knowledge as well as hands on experience. As I said I have experience with most breeds from working at the kennels but have a particular expertise when it comes to: Beagles Border collies Rottweilers Cockapoo Husky Jack Russel Dogue de Bordeaux Boxer I believe your pet will be very happy staying with me at their home away from home so why not send me a message and we can arrange a meet and greet! I will be 100% devoted to your pooch whilst they stay with us, I am free for walks, playtime, cuddles and attention all day long! I have a 3 bedroom house with a medium sized fenced gardens, the garden has both lawned and paved areas so your pal can choose where they prefer to go when let out. We have a guest room with a double bed where your pet can sleep if it chooses but our own dogs usually sleep in our bed with us and yours would be welcome to do the same. If you crate your dog then we can continue to do this aswell. Wherever your pet wants to sleep is fine by us. Walks are important and we are a short drive away from plenty of prime spots including Sutton park, Sandwell valley, Cannock chase and Aldridge airport so woodland wanders are guaranteed. We will keep your pooch on a lead on walks unless you specify otherwise as we know it’s not worth the risk (our poppy would run away as soon as the lead is unclipped from her collar) Whether your pet likes to spend the day lazing around with cuddles or is 100 MPH and loves 4 walks a day, we can cater for them. Our own two are opposite ends of the spectrum so we are used to keeping them happy.

“We couldn't have been happier with Wendi's dog sitting! She let us introduce our dog to her before he stayed, she sent us pictures and updates on the day to reassure us, she was very understanding when we were a bit late back and he had clearly had a great time exploring her lovely, warm comfortable house and fully enclosed garden. We wouldn't hesitate to use her services again and would highly recommend. Thank you Wendi!”

14. Craig B.
“Craig provided doggy daycare our lively Cocker Spaniel Ruben for 2 days this week due to short notice work commitments. We were able to arrange a meet and greet shortly after I made an enquiry through Rover. We were impressed with the location - surrounded by beautiful countryside. We were immediately reassured by Craig’s professional knowledge and experience, demonstrated in the way he has trained and cared for his own dogs. Ruben really enjoyed his 2 days of doggy daycare with Craig. It gives us peace of mind to know he is so well looked after and he will definitely be spending more time with Craig in both daycare and obedience training. We are lucky to have found him. Highly recommended.”

About: I have had 2 dogs in my lifetime one as a teenage child the other one as a adult. My current dog who I have raised from a plant hungry , dust pan brush lover puppy to a more chilled golden oldie. As owner of a very senior labrador i am familiar with attending to their unique needs, quirks and routines . I feel i am quite intuitive with dogs characters and behaviour styles and so can adapt to their care accordingly. I have large secure garden which all my four legged visitors seem to love to play in with plenty of space to have sniffs. I'm the only adult living here and only care for one dog at a time making for a quiet and calm environment so undivided attention can be given to your pooch during their stay so ideal for nervous or senior dogs. I work set rota 2 X long days per week ,so the rest of time i' m available to lavish attention on your furry baby . I work within a healthcare organisations which means I have up to date criminal reference checks along with annual mandatory character declaration as part of requirments for my first job,. Every year i am required to under take health and safety training relevant to my role. I have completed practical animal first aid course and currently studying cannie behaviour
