Information Claudia O. would like to know about your pet

To me it is important to know what triggers your dog, i.e. do they bark at others? Do they dislike anything specific, like the noise of the vacuum, doorbell etc.? If I can avoid doing things like that in front of them it will be better for everyone. Also, does your dog have any special needs? Are they potty trained? The more I know about their likes and dislikes and their routine, the better experience I can provide them with.

A typical day

First thing in the morning (around 8am) I let my dog out in the garden to do his business. On hot days, this would be replaced by a 1h walk from 7:45am. Then, breakfast is served as well as fresh water. As I work from home full time, my dog would relax until lunch time, when we go for a walk (unless it's a hot day). Back to relaxing until 5pm, when we spend some time in the garden either playing or relaxing if the weather allows it. Around 8pm dinner is served! A final toilet break around 11pm just before bed time.

Pet care experience

I am a qualified dog groomer who has cared for and loved dogs my whole life! I grew up looking after my family dog, Pumba, who I was lucky to care for until he passed at 18 years old. Since then, I’ve walked and cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities—from a playful pit bull puppy to my own sweet pug, Paco. I decided to obtain my Level 2 Dog Grooming qualification to make a career out of my passion for dogs. I’ve welcomed dogs into my home for boarding, caring for small and medium pups for up to two weeks at a time. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or making sure they stick to their routine, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I know the best local walking spots and will make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

This was the first time we had ever left Molly with anyone, so we were a little hesitant about it. There was no need to be, Claudia was superb. We had already had a pre meeting with her and from then she put our minds at ease. On the day, she sent us messages and pictures of Molly to show how she was getting on. Claudia is a lovely girl and is experienced in looking after dogs and dedicated in doing so. If ever we need a dog minder in the future, we would not hesitate in choosing Claudia.
