I work full time but I am home-based, so I can arrange walks early in the morning (before 9am), lunch time and evenings from 5pm, as well as weekends. I can offer dog walking services, home visits, dog boarding and grooming. I can administer oral medication and eye drops if needed (as long as they have been vet prescribed).

I have a fully fenced garden and my house has a porch with 2 front doors, which makes it ideal for dog safety. My dog is allowed on the sofa and so is any other dog I care for. I like to think that in my house dogs receive the same hospitality as humans 😊

To me it is important to know what triggers your dog, i.e. do they bark at others? Do they dislike anything specific, like the noise of the vacuum, doorbell etc.? If I can avoid doing things like that in front of them it will be better for everyone. Also, does your dog have any special needs? Are they potty trained? The more I know about their likes and dislikes and their routine, the better experience I can provide them with.

First thing in the morning (around 8am) I let my dog out in the garden to do his business. On hot days, this would be replaced by a 1h walk from 7:45am. Then, breakfast is served as well as fresh water. As I work from home full time, my dog would relax until lunch time, when we go for a walk (unless it's a hot day). Back to relaxing until 5pm, when we spend some time in the garden either playing or relaxing if the weather allows it. Around 8pm dinner is served! A final toilet break around 11pm just before bed time.

I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life! I grew up looking after my family dog, Pumba, who I was lucky to care for until he passed at 18 years old. Since then, I’ve walked and cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities—from a playful pit bull puppy to my own sweet pug, Paco. I'm currently in the process of getting my Level 2 Dog Grooming qualification and would love to have a chance to practice on dogs that I care for if you let me! I’ve welcomed dogs into my home for boarding, caring for small and medium pups for up to two weeks at a time. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or making sure they stick to their routine, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I know the best local walking spots and will make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

Absolutly fantastic, really helped me out on short notice, felt like Peggy was really welcomed in to thier home and treated like part of the family, loved the little updates too, thank you 😁
We were in a real bind. We had to go away for 3 days on a family emergency and were struggling to find someone to look after our lovely cairn, Cinders. Claudia was wonderful - warm, welcoming and caring and Cinders took to her straight away! They have a lovely big, safe, enclosed garden for the dogs to run about in - and there are many countryside and park walks where they live. Such a relief for us to know that there is somewhere safe and welcoming for Cinders on the odd occasion we have to leave her behind for a while....
Claudia was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to meet with us before Remi's daycare, so they could get to know each other with us there, and by the end of the chat, we felt totally confident that Remi would be in safe, loving hands. Remi stayed with Claudia for three consecutive days, and we received thoughtful updates throughout the day including walks, playtime and well deserved naps. By the time we came to pick her up, Remi clearly felt at home as he didn't want to leave. We’re so glad to have found Claudia, and will definitely be booking with her again in the future.
Claudia is amazing with animals and always shows empathy, kindness and a keen attention to all their needs. She has cared for her own cats, dogs and guinea pigs for many years and has regularly looked after the various pets of others when requested and for extended periods of time. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone requiring loving and excellent attention for their four legged friends.
