Monika is a very lovely lady, always willing to help in any way she can. My 9 month old husky a very energetic and a very strong will puppy isn’t easy to deal with when you first meet him but she still took him on and tried to have him. She’s got a very beautiful, clean and welcoming house to accommodate the dogs, as well as her garden. I, truly recommend her to anyone that needs their dog to be cared for, for her knowledge and love for dogs.

About: After working as a nurse for over 30 years I have moved somewhere semi rural, next to the canal and open fields. I have kept animals all my life, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and fish. Not working means I home all the time with my three small very friendly daft dogs and two cats. I have a certificate in animal first aid and would be vigilant on welfare of animals in my care. I can call in to feed pets, clean litter trays, water plants, open and shut curtains etc. I will send photos and videos of your fur baby during the day, just to reassure you they are having a purrfect day 💕 I am retired now so apart from walking my own dogs, I am fully available for looking after your pet. I can visit more than once per day if required. I absolutely cherish my pets. Your pets will be treated with the same level of care as I treat my own. I have a first aid certificate in animal care and would always contact you or seek medical attention if I had any concerns about your pet.

About: I’ve always grown up with pets in the household and I’m now lucky enough to be the proud owner of Betty, my 2 year old Cocker Spaniel and Coba my 6 year old male Bengal. Both are great with other animals as they’ve grown up around them. I believe pets should be treated as part of the family so I will look after them like they’re my own and am happy for them to cuddle up on the sofa with me. I also live near fields and woodlands which is great for dog walks. I am currently on maternity leave, meaning I am at home full time so can be very flexible with bookings and am available evenings and weekends. I have a fenced garden and two friendly pets of my own for your fur baby to play/cuddle up with. I also live walking distance from parks, fields and woodlands that are great for dog walks. I live in a 3 bedroom house so plenty of room for boarding and doggy day care and I have a spare crate that can be used if needed as my own puppy is crate trained.

About: We have a 4 year old neutered male Hungarian Vizsla who is very friendly, named Bailey. My partner has had dogs all her life, over 58 years, and is experienced with many breeds. I have been with my partner for 10 years. We know how hard it can be to find reliable care for our dog when needed and now retired I felt we could offer a home away from home, and help people who need their pet cared for while they are away or at work. We have a 4 star home boarding licence. Our licence reference is NWBC/3668. I am currently retired, although I do do some invigilating, I am totally flexible when not committed to this. We have our own dog and my partner works from home. We can fit in having another dog or two mostly anytime. I have a fenced garden and we have our own dog to keep your dog company and sometimes when we have my son's dog we would have two for company. Both are very sociable. We are happy to walk your dog and follow your guidance on time spent out and distance. We have a stair gate at the bottom and top of the stairs so that we can restrict stairs if this is something that is preferred.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I can remember, our dog’s over the years; a westie, a sharpei, a yorki-poo, a Rottweiler cross sharpei, and a spaniel. I also owned a staffie and xl bully with my ex partner. I now live on my own with a significant amount of land with my son, and looking for doggy loves without the commitment of having my own!🐶🩷 I’m currently not working so very flexible, I will be working part time from September when my son starts nursery, but my son is very used to pets (dogs, cats, rabbits). I live on family land, completely secure as my nan owns a very old spaniel (not in my property), with a big safe inescapable field for lots of running.

About: I have previously loved looked after many types of dogs for long periods of time whilst friends and family have been on holidays! As a family, we used to have a Yorkshire terrier (as you can see in the photos) who lived a happy and long life until she sadly passed away last year. I am well experienced with handling dogs needs having owned one previously and having many opportunities to look after them. I often enjoy long walks and runs so I can ensure that your pets will be well entertained!! :))) I am currently a university student finished for the summer! I have a fully flexible schedule so please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like to book at awkward times! I have a large fenced back garden. However, if you have a large dog a bed may need to be provided as I only have a small bed and blankets!!

About: - I have three cats, all of which I have cared for since they were kittens. - I have over five years of cat-raising experience. - During this time, I have helped my cats through giving birth, cared for cats with feline panleukopenia, and have experience administering medication. I am a full-time housewife. Other than taking my child to school and handling daily household chores, I am available to take care of your mother and spend time keeping her company. I prefer to care for pets in my own home because I am a full-time mum and need to look after my child. However, if the job only requires feeding twice a day and cleaning the litter box, I am able to help with that.

About: Hi, I’m Penny. I’m an animal lover and I'm here to treat your pets like my own; I hope to be your pets' safe and happy place when you're busy with other responsibilities/obligations in life! I have great experience in pet sitting for both cats and dogs. In recent years, I've also started courses on professional pet grooming. I’ve got my own home with a fenced garden that would be suitable for small or large sized pets to have a run around. I’m looking for furry friends who would enjoy going on walks with me and/or have playdates and snuggles at home aswell. I’m based in Lichfield and usually available on weekday evenings, weekends daytime & evenings, and for holidays. I offer a free initial 'Meet & Greet' (up to 30 mins) for all of my services so we can get to know each other better and discuss together how I can better take care of your furry friend(s). For home visits and/or dog walking, I am usually available on weekday evenings and weekends daytime & evenings. I'm an active individual so happy to go on longer walks and/or runs for the furry friends who needs more exercising. For day care or boarding, i work from home so I can be at home most of the time throughout the week, ensuring your furry friend(s) are never left alone for any extended periods of time and given the company they deserve. I'm based in Lichfield and live in a house of my own. I haven’t got any kids around so no need to worry if your pet isn’t great with children. About: Hi, I’m Natalia! Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s pups over the years, and I’m lucky enough to share my home with a wonderful dog of my own. Whether it’s long walks, playtime in the yard, or just keeping them company, I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel loved and comfortable. Your pup will be in caring, reliable hands with me, treated just like family! 🐕🐾 How pet care fits into my routine: Since I work from home, I am able to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. Caring for pets already fits naturally into my routine. I start and end each day with walks, playtime, and quality time with my own dog. Working remotely allows me to be flexible with potty breaks, exercise, and check-ins, so your pup will never feel rushed or alone for too long. On weekends I enjoy taking longer walks or spending extra time outdoors, which makes it easy to include even more fun and care. For me, looking after dogs is not just part of the schedule, it is something I truly enjoy every day. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. They get plenty of love, playtime, and attention throughout the day, along with regular walks and potty breaks to keep them happy and healthy. I make sure each dog has a comfortable space to relax and feel safe, whether that means snuggling on the couch or having their own cozy spot. Since I work from home, I am able to give them consistent care and companionship, making sure they never feel lonely. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and fun environment where every pet feels loved and right at home.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Tamworth on Rover is £23 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,505 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Tamworth. About 87% of Tamworth sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Tamworth commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
