About: Hi, I'm Emma 👋 I’ve been around dogs my whole life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. From small Shih Tzus to big, bouncy Boxers, I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I truly love them all. I’ve also volunteered at a dog rescue, where I spent my time walking dogs, giving plenty of snuggles, and helping keep kennels clean. Dogs are more than pets to me, they’re family. “We had not met Wai San before so arranged a meet in the park where my mind was immediately put at ease. We booked for a two week stay, and Wai San invited us to take Percy, our very active Sprocker, to her house before we left to gave a sniff around so the day of departure would not come as a complete shock. Throughout our trip we were sent photos and videos showing Percy fully invested with Wai San and her family, and very much enjoying himself. It's always a worry leaving your doggie with a stranger for a holiday, but Wai San is a lovely lady who understands dogs and looks after them very well. I have no hesitation in recommending her.”

About: I’ve always grown up with pets in the household and I’m now lucky enough to be the proud owner of Betty, my 2 year old Cocker Spaniel and Coba my 6 year old male Bengal. Both are great with other animals as they’ve grown up around them. I have been with my partner for 10 years. We know how hard it can be to find reliable care for our dog when needed and now retired I felt we could offer a home away from home, and help people who need their pet cared for while they are away or at work. We have a 4 star home boarding licence. Our licence reference is NWBC/3668. I am currently retired, although I do do some invigilating, I am totally flexible when not committed to this. We have our own dog and my partner works from home. We can fit in having another dog or two mostly anytime. I have a fenced garden and we have our own dog to keep your dog company and sometimes when we have my son's dog we would have two for company. Both are very sociable. We are happy to walk your dog and follow your guidance on time spent out and distance. We have a stair gate at the bottom and top of the stairs so that we can restrict stairs if this is something that is preferred.

About: I have always had dogs since I was 4, my first dog was a Westie - Sparkie 🐶 . I loved her like my best friend!! My family have always been dog lovers so I have grown up with dogs in the house constantly, from our pets, to rescue dogs, to foster dogs and even my mum being a dog sitter too! “We had not met Wai San before so arranged a meet in the park where my mind was immediately put at ease. We booked for a two week stay, and Wai San invited us to take Percy, our very active Sprocker, to her house before we left to gave a sniff around so the day of departure would not come as a complete shock. Throughout our trip we were sent photos and videos showing Percy fully invested with Wai San and her family, and very much enjoying himself. It's always a worry leaving your doggie with a stranger for a holiday, but Wai San is a lovely lady who understands dogs and looks after them very well. I have no hesitation in recommending her.”

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child myself and had a dog as a kid. Since then my own parents have had other dogs which I’ve obviously loved and cared for as and when, whilst unable to have a dog of my own. Circumstances - ie work - mean I can’t commit to having my own dog full time, to my son’s dismay, but we have so much love and affection for dogs that Rover is a perfect fit for us. I’ve only ticked availability for when my son and I can live our best life and share that time with your beautiful dog. We are always out and about exploring Lichfield and living life to the fullest…and spending time with a pooch pal would complete that way of life! Full disclosure we live in a flat but is as pet friendly as flats can be. We literally live opposite Stowe Pool playing fields and like I say to my 9-year-old, we have one of the biggest gardens in Lichfield. I have been with my partner for 10 years. We have a stair gate at the bottom and top of the stairs so that we can restrict stairs if this is something that is preferred.
