About: I’ve always had a keen interest in dogs and cats, from walking dogs from around my local area to feeding the strays and getting them vet treated. I sleep and dream of animals, I love each and every animal and truly believe I'm blessed to have any kind of pet. I have worked with large and small pets and nothing is too much trouble, I thrive from being in such an environment. I have experience with young and senior cats/dogs. I have a clean DBS and currently work from home as legal advisor, I have lots of time to share! I am first aid trained and can administer medication. I’m currently a work from home mother as a legal advisor, I fit my life around my work needs with the flexibility my job does allow me. I wake early, and welcome anyone on an early schedule. I feed the animals and like to walk any dogs before there sun fully comes out especially summer months. I provide healthy snack options where diet restrictions are not an issue such as fruit and vegetables or a fun broth popsicle. Animals are entertained and I don’t skimp with supervised toy play. Winding down for the evening, meals are prepared and walks are taken into consideration. I have plenty of land around for excellent nature walks and at times take dogs out in the bus to get to more scenic areas! I can provide bedding and bowls as I do have plenty any additional requests are most welcome. I have a large fenced garden and three doors including porch which keeps any animals safe and secure during day hours and night time. Dogs are free to roam throughout the home unless pet parents have a preference. I shall respect any boundary requirements to the full extent to support with on going training.

Wish I could give Mark and Sue 10/10 they are fantastic. They have been pet sitting my dog after a recent bereavement and leaving her with them has been such a weight off my mind. They look after my dog Bella as if she were there own and she has settled with them so well. Thank you so much for your care and kindness it truly is appreciated 🙂

About: Dedicated and experienced dog lovers based in Walsall. We have cared for dogs for several years and have experience with a variety of breeds. 🐶🐾 Whether you need a safe place for your dog to stay overnight or while you're away, I offer a loving home environment where your pet will feel relaxed and cared for. Your pet will get my full attention — lots of playtime, companionship, and long walks. I have a secure, dog-friendly garden, perfect for outdoor fun and safe exploring. We are able to safely accommodate 1 dog at a time (unless there from the same home) Small to Medium dogs only. What I Offer * 🐶 Overnight Stays in a quiet, pet-friendly home * 🏡 Home Boarding with a secure fenced yard * 🦴 Regular walks, feeding, and plenty of cuddles * 📸 Photo updates and check-ins for your peace of mind Your dog’s routine and comfort come first. I’m patient, calm, and happy to accommodate individual needs — whether it's sticking to a feeding schedule or giving extra care to nervous pups. Why Book With Me? * ✅ Reliable and experienced with various breeds * 🏡 Fully secured garden for safe outdoor time * 🐾 One-on-one care in a quiet home (no other pets) * 🚶‍♂️ Long, stimulating walks in nearby parks and green spaces * 📍 Based in Walsall – flexible pickup/drop-off options When we were looking for safe boarding for our own dog, we realised how difficult it was. We were often turned away because of our personal choices for our pet’s care. That’s when we decided to create Happy Paws — a place that feels like home, where your dog’s needs and routines come first. 💚 Here’s what makes us different: ✔️ Raw feeding welcome – we even have a separate freezer available. ✔️ No proof of injections required – we trust you to know what’s best for your pet. ✔️ No neutering necessary – because we only care for one dog at a time (or more if from the same household). ✔️ Tailored care – we’ll ask about your dog’s usual routine: 🛏️ Where they sleep 🍖 When they eat 🐕 How many walks they enjoy (and how long for) Let’s Meet! I’d love to meet you and your pup! Reach out to arrange a free meet & greet — I’m happy to answer any questions and help you feel confident your dog will be in good hands. I’m fortunate enough to work from home, part time. We spend a lot of time at home, so your pup will not be left alone regular or long periods. We have 2 children, age 5 and 8 who have experienced with dogs, but it’s very important the dogs we home are small/medium size and have a calm nature. For 8 years we have looked after family and friends dogs whilst they are away, we have lots of experience and decided to help more people. We no longer have a pet at home, but when we did we found it extremely difficult to find a boarding home due to our specific needs example raw feeding, and realised there was alot of other people in the same situation. Your pup will stay with us inside our home. A 3 bedroom house with a fenced secured garden Large playing fields in our area for stimulating walks Home from home 🏠

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs. I’ve trained my own dog, including basic obedience, recall, lead walking, and socialisation, and I’ve also helped care for litters of puppies, giving me experience with feeding routines, cleaning, play, supervision, and providing a calm and safe environment. I’m confident handling energetic dogs, nervous dogs, and smaller breeds, and I always focus on patience, positive reinforcement, and making sure every dog feels comfortable and loved. Today was the first time I left Rambo with Diana. She was very warm at welcoming us. Made me feel very comfortable leaving our family pet with her. When we picked him up. He was ready for the agreed time and we were given a full low down of his time there. Plus photos though his stay.

Briana has been, as always amazing. I literally dropped Daisy this morning and rushed off to work giving Briana quick messages. Later on in the morning I got a text to say she had remembered that Daisy loves carrot and she had got some for her, really made me smile as that was not something I had shared in my messages. Thank you Briana for remembering and making the effort to make my little Daisy happy. Bless you for having her at such short notice…she will be back!!

About: I’ve had and been around dogs all my life. I create a safe, calm and fun environment for animals. My home is nice and peaceful and my garden is a secure space to sniff around. I am used to training dogs. I am comfortable with all different types of breeds and ages. I enjoy walking, playing with and cuddling dogs. I have trained my dog Sage to walk off the lead - she is very energetic outside the house but inside she likes to spend her time sleeping and cuddling. Sage and Orla both like to keep themselves busy and let other dogs do their own thing. I wake everyone up by 7AM to use the toilet. I then give everyone breakfast and head out for the first walk of the day. When we get back I have my own breakfast and let the animals have their nap. We will then have a play in the garden - usually tug of war or fetch. There are toilet breaks every hour and cuddles throughout the day. Dinner is usually given at 5PM followed by another walk. Then we will settle down and chill for the evening. I have a secure, fenced garden to wonder around supervised. I have a large indoor space for animals to walk around that is safe from any hazards.

About: My husband Chris and I lost our beloved golden retriever aged 16 who we had as a rescue dog aged 2 and had previously had Harvey, also a golden retriever from a puppy so we’re experienced in all age categories! We both love walking and go out every day whatever the weather. We have sat for friends’ dogs and now that we are retired would love the company of your beautiful babies as company for us when you need a loving second home to send them to. we both took early retirement so are at home all day and go out for walks everyday regardless of the weather. we’d feel privileged to have your dog as a guest and friend and would treat them as our own . We are friendly and outgoing and miss not having a lead in our hands with a companion when out and about on our walks. we have a dog friendly safe house with vinyl kitchen flooring and 2 separate carpeted reception rooms to give your beauties an area of their own space if they don’t want to be spoilt by us all day! We do not work so will not leave them on their own for any long periods. We have a paved fully fenced back garden. We would treat them as our own and make sure they are happy and well cared for. We have plenty of walks and parks local to us but also enjoy taking dogs out with us for a day walking and exploring. Our home feels empty since we lost our beloved year golden retriever and we’d love to be able to spend time with a furry friend and enjoy walking with a new friend

About: A loving, patient and experienced home-from-home for dogs and cats. I’m a huge animal lover with a real soft spot for both dogs and cats. I appreciate everything about them — their little personalities, their quirks, their loyalty, their independence, and the joy they bring into a home. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for and spend time with many animals, both at home and during my travels. My profile includes photos of some of the wonderful dogs and cats I’ve looked after or met along the way, as well as testimonials from people who have trusted me with their much-loved pets. During my time working overseas, I worked closely with local animal shelters in my spare time, helping to care for and rehabilitate some of the most vulnerable dogs. That experience taught me the importance of patience, trust, gentle reassurance and understanding that every animal needs to feel safe in their own time. I know that no two pets are the same. Some dogs need playful energy, long walks and adventure, while others need calm reassurance, patience and a softer approach. Some cats love attention and company, while others prefer space, quiet and time to settle. I will always take the time to understand your pet’s routine, personality and comfort levels so they feel safe, happy and cared for. I currently live in a child and pet-free home due to regular travel for work, so I’m really looking forward to welcoming animals back into my home and giving them the love, attention and comfort they deserve. Whether your pet needs a walk, day care, an overnight stay or a longer visit, I will treat them as if they were my own. Your pet’s happiness, safety and routine will always be my priority, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure they feel relaxed, loved and completely at home. I work from home on Weekdays and will be available various Weekends also. Please ask me any questions you have. I know your pet is super important to you so having your mind at ease whilst they are here is super important to me. My home is currently child-free and pet-free, offering a calm and relaxed environment where your pet can feel safe and settled. I also have a fenced garden, giving dogs a secure outdoor space to play, stretch their legs or enjoy some fresh air. Whether your pet is full of energy and loves playtime, or prefers a quiet, cosy space to rest, I can adapt to what makes them feel happiest. I’ll give them attention, affection and reassurance when they need it, while also respecting when they may need a little space and quiet time.

First time in the 10 mths we’ve had him that King has been away from us in someone else’s house and the first time he’s spent time with other dogs. At the meet and greet Ellie instantly put my mind at ease and I had no concerns leaving him there. I dropped him off this morning and she sent me pictures and video throughout - King was having the best time. He was totally worn out from playing and spending time with her three dogs. He looked so at home and settled there and I will definitely be calling on Ellie again.

About: I have looked after dogs since I was 9 years old, ranging from little pups to older dogs, and absolutely love them all! I have a lot of experience in caring for puppies and know how to crate train, keep ‘place’ as well as basic commands if needed, but can care for your loving pet exactly how you would want me to :) I am currently dog sitting both at other people’s houses and my own. My own house has a large fenced garden next to a big park, perfect for walkies! I have a fenced, safe garden that is well maintained and do not own my own pets at current. I maintain a clean and organised home with space for crates, toys, and everything your dog requires! I live with my parents who also have experience in caring for other people’s dogs and previously owned our own.

Rhiannon is so lovely, kind and caring, she looked after our puppy very well. Her and her husband took the time to meet our puppy Cody first. She took some brilliant photos of Cody on the day, which we enjoyed seeing. It looks like he had a great time, playing in the garden, going for a walk and chilling out. When I picked him up he even lay on his back for a tummy rub, from her. Cody gets rather over excited with other dogs, so poor Barney (Rhiannon's dog) had to put up with him annoying him, hopefully Cody will learn to back off soon and they don't mind having him again.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Walsall

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Walsall on Rover is £25.3 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,359 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Walsall. About 87% of Walsall sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Walsall commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
