About: I’ve always had a keen interest in dogs and cats, from walking dogs from around my local area to feeding the strays and getting them vet treated. I sleep and dream of animals, I love each and every animal and truly believe I'm blessed to have any kind of pet. I have worked with large and small pets and nothing is too much trouble, I thrive from being in such an environment. I have experience with young and senior cats/dogs. I have a clean DBS and currently work from home as legal advisor, I have lots of time to share! I am first aid trained and can administer medication. I’m currently a work from home mother as a legal advisor, I fit my life around my work needs with the flexibility my job does allow me. I wake early, and welcome anyone on an early schedule. I feed the animals and like to walk any dogs before there sun fully comes out especially summer months. I provide healthy snack options where diet restrictions are not an issue such as fruit and vegetables or a fun broth popsicle. Animals are entertained and I don’t skimp with supervised toy play. Winding down for the evening, meals are prepared and walks are taken into consideration. I have plenty of land around for excellent nature walks and at times take dogs out in the bus to get to more scenic areas! I can provide bedding and bowls as I do have plenty any additional requests are most welcome. I have a large fenced garden and three doors including porch which keeps any animals safe and secure during day hours and night time. Dogs are free to roam throughout the home unless pet parents have a preference. I shall respect any boundary requirements to the full extent to support with on going training.

About: I recently lost my 16 year old yorkie Daisy who was with us from a puppy. She was part of our family and we miss her terribly. Our home is too quiet now and I would love to take care ofyour fur baby if you would let me. We live in a bungalow with a secure fenced garden. We have no other pets or children around so your pet would be our priority whilst with us. We don't smoke and are both 63 years old. We have no boundaries in our home and your pets are allowed anywhere and on sofa or bed. I look forward to hopefully hearing from you. X I do not work as I'm a carer for my husband at home so I have plenty of spare time and love to give to your furbaby. Your pet would be well looked after at your home and I would follow any specific instructions that you give to me. I am very caring and trustworthy.

Wow, well after non stop searching we have found the loveliest couple in Mark & Sue! They came to our house to meet Stanley prior to him having a day at their house on a "trial run" We took him, along with a car full of his toys and treats to their house and dropped him off, and to say he made himself at home was an understatement! He settled in so well and got on with Mark and Sue,playing with his toys and in and out to the garden "helping" Sue!!!!! We felt so happy leaving him, we knew he would be well looked after and he sure was, he had a ball! I have no hesitation in taking him back again and leaving him for week ends away and holidays!!! Mark and Sue are just so friendly and loving we couldn't have picked any one better, Stanley just loves them!!!! Thank you Mark and Sue for taking such good care of Stanley you are stars!!!! :)

About: Hi there, I’m Cat, an outdoor enthusiast and lover of all animals little and large. I have 2 yappy chihuahuas of my own and recently said goodbye to my lovely Staffy girl after 13 wonderful years together. Throughout the years I have had many staffies, a rottweiler, an american bulldog, a labrador, a collie and now my 2 little ones, not to mention fostering many dogs from a great dane down to the tiniest puppies. This has given me plenty of personal experience. I am also an ex RSPCA officer so have worked with all sorts of animals over the years giving me lots of professional experience. I have an enhanced dbs available, I am fully insured and I have animal first aid training. I am also studying zoology at uni. I can often offer flexibility with bookings and am happy to adapt to your pets requirements. I can’t wait to meet your furry buddies :) I have been working in pet services for 2 years now. I offer sitting in your home, dog walking and drop in visits tailored to your pet’s needs. Also happy to assist with other non cat/dog pets. If you want any information or just a chat, feel free to message me. When a booking is in place, you can rest assured that I will not cancel. I understand the necessity for a sitter/walker to be reliable and not let clients down last minute. I offer services at the rate shown on my profile for addresses within a 10-mile radius. I can cover further afield for a charge of 50p per mile over the 10-mile distance. During pet sitting services within your home, I stick to the specifics that we will have agreed upon in advance in order to provide the highest quality and most suitable care for your pet/s. I always do a meet n greet and go over a thorough pet questionnaire before any booking takes place

Briana has been, as always amazing. I literally dropped Daisy this morning and rushed off to work giving Briana quick messages. Later on in the morning I got a text to say she had remembered that Daisy loves carrot and she had got some for her, really made me smile as that was not something I had shared in my messages. Thank you Briana for remembering and making the effort to make my little Daisy happy. Bless you for having her at such short notice…she will be back!!

We had a great experience with Simran. He looked after Zeus all day and he was reliable, caring, and attentive throughout. We got updates during the day which gave us real peace of mind, and it was clear our dog was happy and well cared for. We’d definitely trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable sitter. When I picked Zeus up I could see he had a great time with Simran and he had enjoyed spending the day there.

About: What truly makes me different is my attention to detail and emotional awareness. I notice when a dog is overstimulated, tired, anxious, or just needs quiet companionship. I adjust care based on their personality — whether they’re high-energy and playful or calm and cuddly. Your pet’s safety, routine, and happiness come first with me. I aim to create a home-like, stress-free environment where they feel secure and loved. I maintain a predictable routine because I understand that dogs thrive on consistency. Whether I’m caring for puppies who need more frequent toilet breaks and short training sessions, or senior pets who need slower walks and a calmer pace, I adjust my schedule to meet their specific needs. When pets stay in my home, I treat them as part of the family while maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible. I know that being in a new environment can feel overwhelming, so I focus on creating a calm, safe, and structured space where they can settle comfortably.

About: I’m a proud and loving dog mom to a Cockapoo and have hands on experience with both Cockapoos and Cocker Spaniels, especially working dogs. Over the years, I’ve raised multiple puppies from their earliest stages, so I understand the patience, consistency, and extra attention they need to grow into happy, well adjusted dogs. I’m also confident caring for senior dogs, providing the gentleness, patience and a routine they rely on. My personal experience as a lifelong dog lover and caretaker means I treat every pup like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable, whether we’re on a walk, playing, or simply relaxing together. Because I work from home five days a week, I have plenty of flexibility and time to give pets the attention they need throughout the day. I already take myself out for two walks daily, so it’s easy to bring a dog along for fresh air, exercise, and a change of scenery. This routine means I can offer regular toilet breaks, playtime, and cuddles :) I have a secure, fenced garden that’s perfect for playtime and fresh air, and I can easily accommodate crates if your dog is more comfortable with their own space or routine. I also share my home part time with my own Cockapoo - Alfie, who is super friendly and well socialised. He’s with me about 2 out of 4 weeks a month, and he loves having a playmate around. When he’s here, I make sure all introductions are done slowly and safely so everyone feels at ease.

About: Hi! We’re a dog-loving couple who genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for. 🐾 We have experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities — from French Bulldogs to gentle giants like English Mastiffs. We’re happy to tailor walks to your dog’s usual routine, energy levels, and individual quirks. Your dog may be walked by either one of us or both of us together. I work full-time so Josh is the predominant day-time walker on weekdays. However; If your pup feels more comfortable with a female walker, just let us know and we’ll happily schedule around this preference wherever possible. Expect plenty of care, attention, happy walks, and photo updates along the way! 🐶❤️ I work full-time Monday-Friday and am available before and after work for walks. My partner works from home and is self-employed so fits this around his priority of walking and caring for dogs. Our garden is fully enclosed. We have a spare XL crate available for any dogs that need to be crated to prevent owners having to bring this with them. We have spare bowls, leads and plenty of treats.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Walsall on Rover is £25.3 per day (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,407 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Walsall. About 86% of Walsall sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Walsall commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
