Would highly, strongly, definately 100% recommend Sherree to look after your doggies as she genuinely loves them and dotes on them as if they were her own. Thank you so much! You are on amazing lady! “Pippa is amazing. Was so welcoming and flexible. Has a lovely home and a big secure garden. I met her in advance so that my dog was familiar and she was instantly cuddling him. She has a beautiful and playful cockapoo who is great company for any four legged friend. I couldn’t recommend Pippa more. My dog had a great time and was so well looked after.”

“Mylo loves going to Christina's. We get consistent updates, eg photos and videos. Christina always responds promptly and her little boys adores Mylo. We are happy that our Mylo is in good hands. Thank you Christina”

“Milo had a fab time with Lauren. He was absolutely shattered when we got home. Lauren updated me regularly with photos too. He was well looked after and I wouldn't hesitate to leave him in her care again.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, starting with our family dog (Wheaten Terrier) when I was a teenager. Later, my husband and I got our own home where we shared many happy years with our beloved rescue Jack Russell, Grace. Our family adored Grace, and we quickly learned a great deal about caring for dogs with different needs, personalities and routines. Since losing her in 2024, we’re not quite ready for another dog of our own, but we would love the opportunity to provide a safe, loving and home-from-home environment for other people’s pets. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your dog, and I will always treat them as if they were my own. Whether your dog loves adventures, playtime, cuddles on the sofa or simply a calm and reassuring presence, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe and well cared for while they’re with me. Please note I don’t currently offer pick-up or drop-off, so dogs will need to be brought to and collected from my home. I am at home for most of the day, which means your dog will have plenty of company, attention and care. I can be flexible with routines and will do my best to maintain the schedule your dog is used to, including feeding times, walks, playtime and rest. I understand that consistency is important for dogs and will work with you to make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority. We have a secure, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely spend time outdoors, along with comfortable indoor spaces to relax and feel at home. I only accept dogs that are a good fit for our family and will follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, medication and routines. As a dog owner myself for many years, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’ll treat your dog as part of the family and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay.

“Wish I could give Mark and Sue 10/10 they are fantastic. They have been pet sitting my dog after a recent bereavement and leaving her with them has been such a weight off my mind. They look after my dog Bella as if she were there own and she has settled with them so well. Thank you so much for your care and kindness it truly is appreciated 🙂”

About: My neighbours rely on me to walk and take care of their dogs, I hope you can rely on me too. I've also taken care of fish, guinea pigs, rabbits and cats so I'm pretty versatile with the care I can give your pets. I have also trained 2 dogs to be potty trained and do some tricks. I'm a uni student studying medicine at Uni of Leicester with a flexible schedule and a big love for dogs. I’m usually free in the early mornings and evenings, which makes walks and playtime easy to fit in. I’m also available on Fridays and weekends for dog boarding. Your pup will get plenty of attention, care, and cuddles while you’re away! I haven't got other pets in my home so it's easy to give all my attention to your pup. There is a park just 5 minutes away from where I live so your dog can have a good time with fresh air. I've been dog walking for 3 years now so I hope you trust me with your dog and I promise to make sure they feel safe, loved and well-exercised.

About: I’m a reliable, active and genuinely caring person who absolutely loves being around dogs. I bring a calm, confident approach and always prioritise safety, routine and making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, administering basic care, or simply giving them lots of attention. I am currently working from home so I am extremely flexible throughout the day. I lead a very active lifestyle, so your dog can expect plenty of walks, playtime and engagement tailored to their age, energy level and personality. I’m also attentive to individual needs, whether that’s a high energy dog who loves being outdoors or one who prefers a slower, more relaxed pace. Most importantly, I aim to give owners peace of mind by being dependable, communicative and fully present, so you can feel confident your pet is in safe and loving hands while you’re away. The doggo in my profile pic is our girl Flo, a 9 year old sausage who lives with me and my girlfriend in Wolverhampton right next to Bantock park a perfect place for dog walks. Caring for animals naturally fits into my daily routine, as I lead an active, structured lifestyle and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors. Whether it’s morning walks, regular exercise, or simply being present and attentive at home, I make sure any dog in my care gets the time, attention, and consistency they need to feel happy and safe. Having a background that requires responsibility, calmness under pressure, and strong people skills, I bring that same level of care and trustworthiness to looking after pets. I’m experienced with dog walking, sitting, and boarding, and I make sure every dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing are my top priority at all times. I am fully insured with Productivity Insurance ✔️

About: Hi we are Yoko & Robert! We both work from home, so we're here all day, every day. Our house is in a quiet neighborhood with 3 parks & long canal-bank trail nearby. Our garden is fully fenced and tidy with natural plants and tree to explore (and pee!) We've cared for paralyzed dogs that needed special attention, fragile little ones like Chihuahuas and Japanese spitz, and larger breeds too. Our own dog is a friendly and calm 8yrs old rescued Cane Corso, so we know senior care too. I spent 4 years volunteering in shelters, and my partner grew up with dogs, so we're comfortable with puppies, nervous rescues, and everyone in between. We pay attention to each dog's personality and habits, and make sure they feel special, safe, clean, comfy and happy while they're with us. We're home throughout the day, so your dog will always have company. We take our own dog for 3 walks a day, at least 30 minutes each, and we often squeeze in a fourth if the weather's good. On weekends we drive to further parks and doggy ranches in West Midlands and let our dog run free for a couple of hours. That said, we're happy to adjust to your dog's usual rhythm – whether they're an early riser, a lazy lounger, or used to their own walk times. We keep a clean, calm home with no visitors and a chill atmosphere. Our garden is fully fenced and secure, and we always keep an eye on your dog when they're outside. We're present without being overbearing – just being around means we can tune into your dog's mood and adapt to however they like to spend their time, whether that's extra playtime, a quiet cuddle, or just having someone nearby. We genuinely enjoy all kinds of personalities, and we’d love for you to feel at ease when your loved ones are with us.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs through both personal ownership and pet sitting. I previously worked as a dog sitter, where I consistently maintained a 5-star review rating thanks to my reliability, communication, and the quality of care I provide. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, temperaments, and routines. I understand the importance of keeping dogs safe, happy, and well-exercised, as well as sticking to their usual schedule to help them feel secure. I’m also a current owner of two Jack Russells, aged 10 and 11, so I have daily experience with both high-energy dogs and those needing a bit more patience and care as they get older. This has given me a strong understanding of everything from playtime and training basics to recognising when a dog needs rest or extra attention. Whether it’s walks, feeding, companionship, or just making sure your dog feels at home, I always provide a calm, caring, and attentive environment. Dog sitting fits naturally into my daily routine as I work from home, allowing me to provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. Being at home means your dog will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of companionship, supervision, and regular interaction. I’m able to structure my day around walks, feeding times, and play, while still maintaining a calm and stable environment. This flexibility also means I can accommodate specific routines, whether your dog is used to multiple walks, medication schedules, or just enjoys having someone nearby. Pet care is not just something I fit in around my day – it’s a core part of it. Alongside my work-from-home role, dog sitting is one of my main focuses, so your dog will always be well looked after, safe, and given the attention they deserve. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment where dogs can feel completely at home. I have a secure, fenced garden for outdoor time and a spacious home where dogs have plenty of room to relax and settle in comfortably. I live with my two friendly Jack Russells (aged 10 and 11), so I’m very experienced in managing different energy levels, routines, and personalities. I always introduce dogs carefully and can keep them separated if needed to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I stick closely to each dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest. I’m also happy to crate dogs if that’s part of their normal routine, and I can confidently administer medication when required. Your dog will receive lots of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day, with regular updates so you always know how they’re doing. My priority is making sure every dog feels secure, happy, and well looked after while in my care.
“Mia was amazing start to finish and my boy Moose loved staying with her. As soon as we met at the meet and greet, I immediately felt comfortable enough to hand over my pup, that’s the best compliment I can give. She was attentive, flexible, and sent constant updates. I’ll definitely be booking Mia again!”

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
