“Pippa is amazing. Was so welcoming and flexible. Has a lovely home and a big secure garden. I met her in advance so that my dog was familiar and she was instantly cuddling him. She has a beautiful and playful cockapoo who is great company for any four legged friend. I couldn’t recommend Pippa more. My dog had a great time and was so well looked after.”

“I'm so overwhelmed with how loving and caring Sherree is. Absolutely amazing lady, genuine and has spoilt my Jessie so much. Would highly, strongly, definately 100% recommend Sherree to look after your doggies as she genuinely loves them and dotes on them as if they were her own. Thank you so much! You are on amazing lady! Xx”

“Milo had a fab time with Lauren. He was absolutely shattered when we got home. Lauren updated me regularly with photos too. He was well looked after and I wouldn't hesitate to leave him in her care again.”

“Wow, well after non stop searching we have found the loveliest couple in Mark & Sue! They came to our house to meet Stanley prior to him having a day at their house on a "trial run" We took him, along with a car full of his toys and treats to their house and dropped him off, and to say he made himself at home was an understatement! He settled in so well and got on with Mark and Sue,playing with his toys and in and out to the garden "helping" Sue!!!!! We felt so happy leaving him, we knew he would be well looked after and he sure was, he had a ball! I have no hesitation in taking him back again and leaving him for week ends away and holidays!!! Mark and Sue are just so friendly and loving we couldn't have picked any one better, Stanley just loves them!!!! Thank you Mark and Sue for taking such good care of Stanley you are stars!!!! :)”

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs through both personal ownership and pet sitting. I previously worked as a dog sitter, where I consistently maintained a 5-star review rating thanks to my reliability, communication, and the quality of care I provide. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, temperaments, and routines. I understand the importance of keeping dogs safe, happy, and well-exercised, as well as sticking to their usual schedule to help them feel secure. I’m also a current owner of two Jack Russells, aged 10 and 11, so I have daily experience with both high-energy dogs and those needing a bit more patience and care as they get older. This has given me a strong understanding of everything from playtime and training basics to recognising when a dog needs rest or extra attention. Whether it’s walks, feeding, companionship, or just making sure your dog feels at home, I always provide a calm, caring, and attentive environment. Dog sitting fits naturally into my daily routine as I work from home, allowing me to provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. Being at home means your dog will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of companionship, supervision, and regular interaction. I’m able to structure my day around walks, feeding times, and play, while still maintaining a calm and stable environment. This flexibility also means I can accommodate specific routines, whether your dog is used to multiple walks, medication schedules, or just enjoys having someone nearby. Pet care is not just something I fit in around my day – it’s a core part of it. Alongside my work-from-home role, dog sitting is one of my main focuses, so your dog will always be well looked after, safe, and given the attention they deserve. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment where dogs can feel completely at home. I have a secure, fenced garden for outdoor time and a spacious home where dogs have plenty of room to relax and settle in comfortably. I live with my two friendly Jack Russells (aged 10 and 11), so I’m very experienced in managing different energy levels, routines, and personalities. I always introduce dogs carefully and can keep them separated if needed to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I stick closely to each dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest. I’m also happy to crate dogs if that’s part of their normal routine, and I can confidently administer medication when required. Your dog will receive lots of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day, with regular updates so you always know how they’re doing. My priority is making sure every dog feels secure, happy, and well looked after while in my care.

About: I’m a reliable, active and genuinely caring person who absolutely loves being around dogs. Having grown up with pets from dogs, to chickens, even lambs and then spent years in people focused roles, I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog. I bring a calm, confident approach and always prioritise safety, routine and making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, administering basic care, or simply giving them lots of attention. I am currently working from home so I am extremely flexible throughout the day. I lead a very active lifestyle, so your dog can expect plenty of walks, playtime and engagement tailored to their age, energy level and personality. I’m also attentive to individual needs, whether that’s a high energy dog who loves being outdoors or one who prefers a slower, more relaxed pace. Most importantly, I aim to give owners peace of mind by being dependable, communicative and fully present, so you can feel confident your pet is in safe and loving hands while you’re away. The doggo in my profile pic is our girl Flo, a 9 year old sausage who lives with me and my girlfriend in Wolverhampton right next to Bantock park a perfect place for dog walks. Caring for animals naturally fits into my daily routine, as I lead an active, structured lifestyle and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors. Whether it’s morning walks, regular exercise, or simply being present and attentive at home, I make sure any dog in my care gets the time, attention, and consistency they need to feel happy and safe. Having a background that requires responsibility, calmness under pressure, and strong people skills, I bring that same level of care and trustworthiness to looking after pets. Most importantly, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone, and I aim to provide not just safe care, but a positive, loving environment where they feel comfortable and well looked after at all times 🐶. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment whether caring for pets in my home or in the owner’s home. I have a fully fenced garden for secure outdoor time and a friendly, well socialised dog who can provide great company (or can be kept separate if preferred). I stick closely to each dog’s routine, including feeding, walks, and any specific care instructions, so they feel comfortable and settled. I’m experienced with dog walking, sitting, and boarding, and I make sure every dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing are my top priority at all times. I am fully insured with Productivity Insurance ✔️

We were often turned away because of our personal choices for our pet’s care. That’s when we decided to create Happy Paws — a place that feels like home, where your dog’s needs and routines come first. 💚 Here’s what makes us different: ✔️ Raw feeding welcome – we even have a separate freezer available. ✔️ No proof of injections required – we trust you to know what’s best for your pet. ✔️ No neutering necessary – because we only care for one dog at a time (or more if from the same household). ✔️ Tailored care – we’ll ask about your dog’s usual routine: 🛏️ Where they sleep 🍖 When they eat 🐕 How many walks they enjoy (and how long for) Let’s Meet! I’m fortunate enough to work from home, part time. We spend a lot of time at home, so your pup will not be left alone regular or long periods. We have 2 children, age 5 and 8 who have experienced with dogs, but it’s very important the dogs we home are small/medium size and have a calm nature. For 8 years we have looked after family and friends dogs whilst they are away, we have lots of experience and decided to help more people. We no longer have a pet at home, but when we did we found it extremely difficult to find a boarding home due to our specific needs example raw feeding, and realised there was alot of other people in the same situation. Your pup will stay with us inside our home. A 3 bedroom house with a fenced secured garden Large playing fields in our area for stimulating walks Home from home 🏠
“Kingston recognised the house as soon as we pulled up even though it had been a while. He was so excited! Diana updated me throughout the day with pics of him and his friend Steve. Always lovely and welcoming, highly recommended.”

“Bruce had a great time with Saran. We were sent a photo of him enjoying the garden and a video of him out on the field taking a walk. He came home one happy, content puppy. Would definitely reccomend. Thank you so much Saran.”

There are 1,213 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in South Staffordshire. About 86% of South Staffordshire sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your South Staffordshire commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.
Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
