Ruby had a fabulous stay with Marcia. She was treated like part of the family and enjoyed her play date with Lola and Ellie. She especially liked her sniffy walk and the chance to play chase in a very spacious garden. Will definitely use again!

About: Hi, I’m Natasha! I’ve owned dogs of my own in the past and have several years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities, from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle giant Great Danes. I’m confident caring for both younger and senior dogs and have experience administering medication when needed. I absolutely love animals and will always treat your dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved. I’d love to welcome your fur baby into my home, where they’ll enjoy plenty of attention, cuddles, walks and a truly home-from-home experience! 🐾❤️ I work from home full-time, which means your fur baby will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout their stay. They’re more than welcome to curl up on my lap while I work, cuddle up on the sofa or enjoy unlimited access to my large, secure garden whenever they fancy some fresh air and playtime. I absolutely love animals and will always treat your dog like one of my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved and completely at home. I’m available for dog and cat boarding and sitting 7 days a week and can be flexible with drop-off, collection and care times to suit you and your dog’s routine. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my priority. I live in a spacious three-bedroom home on a quiet, friendly estate in Cannock, with a large fully fenced garden offering both lawn and patio areas for safe outdoor play and relaxation. There are no children or other dogs in the home, so your fur baby can enjoy a calm, peaceful environment with plenty of one-to-one attention. I recently relocated to the area and wanted to get back into looking after dogs, as I’m a huge dog lover and genuinely enjoy giving them a safe, loving and welcoming home while their owners are away.

About: ❤️🐾NEW TO ROVER? ❤️🐾 USE MY CODE: HEATHE762151 FOR £30 OFF YOUR FIRST BOOKING‼️ Hi, I’m Heather, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with many years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have had many pets during my childhood and professionally looked after other peoples animals since 18. I sadly recently lost my dog, in which I met through a dog sitting platform. Taking care of him over the last 10 years has given me experience with dogs of different ages, personalities and needs, including the patience and extra care that comes with looking after an older dog. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own. I am DBS checked and currently work at a local school part time, where I support children in a caring and responsible role. This reflects my reliability, patience and commitment to looking after others. I’m happy to help with walking, feeding, companionship and general pet care in my home. I take the time to get to know each pet individually, understand their routines and make sure they feel comfortable, safe and loved. I’d love the opportunity to meet your pets and provide them with the same care, attention and kindness that I’ve given my own dog for so many years. I work term time between 9-3 part time. I am home 4 days a week, including weekends, my partner works from home most days. One of us is always here. I like to think that I am a very reliable and trustworthy person. I have a love for animals and every pet that comes into my care is treated as if they were my own. I understand how hard it is to leave your pet with someone that you don’t know, but I hope to build a relationship with all my prospective clients and make them feel at ease and provide a happy stay for pets. My Home is safe, clean and the garden is secure. Rest assured that your pet will be very well taken care of.

Wow, well after non stop searching we have found the loveliest couple in Mark & Sue! They came to our house to meet Stanley prior to him having a day at their house on a "trial run" We took him, along with a car full of his toys and treats to their house and dropped him off, and to say he made himself at home was an understatement! He settled in so well and got on with Mark and Sue,playing with his toys and in and out to the garden "helping" Sue!!!!! We felt so happy leaving him, we knew he would be well looked after and he sure was, he had a ball! I have no hesitation in taking him back again and leaving him for week ends away and holidays!!! Mark and Sue are just so friendly and loving we couldn't have picked any one better, Stanley just loves them!!!! Thank you Mark and Sue for taking such good care of Stanley you are stars!!!! :)

Absolutely excellent service! Our dog had a fantastic day and came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very well looked after. Everything was incredibly well organised, with clear communication beforehand and all the information we needed for the visit. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they look after, which gave us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and professional dog sitter.

Alyx was kind to agree to accept a very last minute booking to care for Malcolm in her lovely home which I so appreciated!! Upon meeting Alyx, I found her to be friendly and accommodating. I received texts and pictures of Malcolm and Maverick hanging out together. He looked quite content and happy to smile for the pics with his new buddy! I would highly recommend Alyx to care for your pups and would not hesitate to book her again.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Cannock Chase on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,310 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Cannock Chase. About 86% of Cannock Chase sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Cannock Chase commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
