About: Hello! I am a student nurse with a genuine passion for caring for both people and animals. I have grown up in a home with dogs and cats, giving me years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments- from a little Dachshund to a high energy Labrador retriever. I have one dog and two cats of my own, and they mean the absolute world to me. Because of this, I completely understand how worrying it can be to leave your pets while your away. My aim is to give you complete peace of mind by ensuring your pets are safe, happy and well cared for in the comfort of their own home. I can provide dog walks, drop in visits, feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, companionship and overnight stays in your home if required. I am happy to care for dogs of all breeds, as well as cats, and I will always treat your pets with the same love, kindness and attention that I give to my own. I am also happy to provide regular updates, photos, and messages whilst your away, so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. Before any booking, id be delighted to arrange a meet and greet so we can get to know each other and your pet can become more familiar with me.🐶🐾 I currently work part time shifts as and when required for an agency so I am not tied to set hours and I can be pretty flexible. I take time out in the morning and the evening to walk my own dog and provide enrichment and playtime for him. I like to walk over Cannock chase and chasewater and would love to meet new dogs to be able to bring along with me🐾 I would not currently be looking to offer house sits in my own property due to having cats and I want to ensure they are comfortable. My dog is very friendly with my cats and they are able to get along but I know this is not always the case. When I look after your pet I will take time to play with them, provide walks, fresh water, enrichment activities and of course lots of love and attention 🐾❤️I know every breed is different and they all have different temperaments and require time and patience and understanding ❤️

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have looked after friends and family’s dogs too. I’m quick to learn their behaviours and bond with them I am a university student however there is a lot of free time around my timetable and I currently don’t have another job so I am able to be very flexible. I cannot care for pets in my own home but in others homes I would request instructions for both your pet and home and to be shown where what I need is to care best for your pet
“Antonia arrived on time and even gave me an ETA on when she would arrive, which I thought was amazing. Our dog settled really well with her and when I got back I found my dog asleep right by Antonia’s feet, which was so lovely to see and very reassuring. She gave Treacle her medicine on time. Antonia is a very friendly lady and cared greatly for my precious girl. Thankyou so much. The only thing I would recommend would be updates of her movements during the day. It would have been nice to have a message to say she’d had her medicine ok. Other than that I can’t fault her care with this lovely lady. We would definitely book her again should I have another dog, unfortunately our girl passed away 3 days later.”

I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Over the years, I’ve learned how to care for dogs of all kinds—not just the happy, healthy ones, but also those who need a little extra attention. I live with Evie, my beautiful Olde English Bulldog, who’s been by my side since she was a pup. She’s now 5 and full of personality. Evie’s had her own health ups and downs, so I understand how important it is to be patient, gentle, and responsive to a dog’s individual needs. She’s neutered, well-mannered, and used to being around other dogs. As a registered nurse and mum of two, I’m naturally attentive and nurturing, and I bring that same care into how I look after animals. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love spending time with them—whether it’s a cuddle on the sofa or a walk through the woods. I’m home most of the time, and with plenty of lovely walking spots nearby, I make sure dogs get fresh air, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I treat every dog like family—with love, patience, and a calm, safe environment where they can feel right at home. I currently work part-time, which means I have plenty of free time to devote to your pup’s needs. My flexible routine allows for long walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles throughout the day. I’m available for boarding both during weekdays and weekends, ensuring your dog has companionship and care while you’re away. Dogs truly fit into my everyday routine, as I'm used to building our day around Evie and her needs. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. Whether it’s keeping them on their routine, providing medication if needed, or giving them cosy spots to rest, I always prioritise their well-being. Your pup will be cared for as if they were my own—getting plenty of love, play, and attention in a calm, safe environment.

My day fits around your requirements and not the other way around, I always do my very best to ensure that I run on time, your allocated time is your allocated time and this will never fluctuate, your time is also your time, and this will never be cut short or come at the expense of your dog. Issues do happen, and sometimes if a pooch or cat needs extra time due to an emergency or the need of a vet (rarely) this is always communicated with you straight away. I put a huge amount of time and effort in to the care of your pets, and my relationships with their humans. I am fully experienced and qualified. I have 15 years of experience in pet care and over 8 formal qualifications. I have experience with pets from all backgrounds! “I’m very grateful to Craig for looking after my rescue Spaniel, who can be a bit unpredictable especially when his routine is upset. I was able to go away for the weekend without worrying as I knew Craig could handle anything that came his way. I’ve already booked him to have Ted for two weeks later in the year! Thanks Craig (and Buddy!)”

About: I have had all kinds of dogs over the last 50 years, from little Jack Russells, Yorkshire Terriers up to Labrador’s and Huskies. I would love to look after you family pet over the weekend as I work full time and don’t have time in the week for our own dog. I want to give me children the joy I had of having a dog around at times when we are free. I work full time so will be free on weekends to have dogs over either for the day or boarding for the whole weekend in our living family home I have a fully fenced garden, we currently have a lion head rabbit and he runs free when no dogs are with us. If there was a way to get out he would have found it! :)
About: From the age of 16 I dog groomed for 2 years.. I then went onto walk a few of the customers dogs on a regular basis daily/weekly. I’ve had many dogs in the family home growing up but now that I have a career, I don’t have enough time to to dedicate to an extra member of the family. I do miss having a little companion so if there’s anything I can do to help you out I would be more than happy to. I work shifts 4-5 times a week, I know my shifts for a year in advance so just let me know when you need me and we can arrange a time that suits both. I won’t care for pets in my own home as my property isn’t suitable at the moment, if that’s an issue let me know how we can work around it.
About: I’ve had dog and other pets all my life, Labradors, shitzu, French bulldogs, and dachshunds and loved and cared for them all. I have a genuine commitment to compassionate, attentive care, especially for older dogs who need a little extra support. I have experience caring for senior pets, understanding their slower pace, mobility needs, and the comfort of familiar routines. I’m confident in administering medication safely and calmly, whether that’s tablets, liquids, or more specific care instructions. I take the time to build trust with each dog, ensuring they feel secure, relaxed, and truly cared for while you’re away. I currently work full time flexibly from home with regular breaks for walks and fusses. I tend to take my dog out twice a day. I have a fenced garden and secure home, walks often. I provide a calm, safe, and consistent environment whether pets are in my home or their own. In my home, I keep a clean, secure space with plenty of comfort, supervision, and enrichment, ensuring pets stick to a routine that suits their needs, including feeding schedules, walks, rest time, and play. I’m especially mindful of creating a low-stress environment for more sensitive or older dogs.

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Cannock Chase
We were a little apprehensive about leaving Meg overnight, but she was clearly delighted to see Stephen again. As expected, he came fully prepared for his stay. He was very sympathetic to and accommodating of all her little idiosyncrasies and reassured us of her well being with photographs of her both at rest and play. We are all looking forward to seeing Stephen again over the summer.

Lillian’s has been absolutely amazing from the very first time I messaged her, we received updates and photos of our doggies every day and whenever I messaged she got back to me quickly Ernie Luna and Albie has enjoyed all the cuddles kisses and all the lovely walks they have been on. I would 100% use Lilliana again such a lovely lady and trust her completely.

I really can't recommend Antonia enough. This was the first time we have left our dog to go on holiday and we were quite nervous about it. Marshall had a fantastic time with Antonia and she sent daily pics of him out and about having a great time. We wouldn't hesitate booking with Antonia again.

Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cannock Chase choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
