Antonia arrived on time and even gave me an ETA on when she would arrive, which I thought was amazing. Our dog settled really well with her and when I got back I found my dog asleep right by Antonia’s feet, which was so lovely to see and very reassuring. She gave Treacle her medicine on time. Antonia is a very friendly lady and cared greatly for my precious girl. Thankyou so much. The only thing I would recommend would be updates of her movements during the day. It would have been nice to have a message to say she’d had her medicine ok. Other than that I can’t fault her care with this lovely lady. We would definitely book her again should I have another dog, unfortunately our girl passed away 3 days later.

Cannot recommend Andrew enough! We were so anxious about leaving Ralph as we had never left him with someone he doesn’t know before however, Andrew was amazing and put our minds at ease. He came to visit us before to get to know Ralph and understand his needs and on the day Andrew kept us fully updated with photos, details of how Ralph was, how he was eating, walking, sleeping etc and we couldn’t be more thankful for that! Ralph really settled with Andrew and I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much!

About: I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, including my own rescue dog and two rescue cats, as well as volunteering with a local dog rescue. My experience with rescue animals has taught me the importance of patience, understanding and adapting care to each pet’s individual needs. Whether your pet loves adventure and playtime or prefers a calmer approach, I tailor my care to ensure they feel safe, comfortable and happy. I’m particularly experienced with nervous and anxious pets and understand that some dogs thrive on quieter walks, extra reassurance and one-to-one attention. My priority is always to provide a positive, stress-free experience for your pets while giving you complete peace of mind that they’re in caring and reliable hands. I’m currently fully flexible and focusing on growing my pet care business, PlottPaw Adventure, full-time, allowing me to offer reliable and adaptable care for dogs and cats throughout the day 🐾 I specialise in calm, personalised pet care, including solo walks, drop-in visits, companionship visits, and one-to-one support, particularly for anxious, nervous, senior, or rescue pets 💚 Building trusted relationships with both pets and their owners is incredibly important to me, and I’m passionate about providing attentive, patient and dependable care tailored to each pet’s individual needs, routine and personality. Your pet’s comfort, safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I take a calm, patient and attentive approach to care, tailoring every visit to your pet’s individual routine, personality and comfort levels, particularly for rescue or anxious animals. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience using a pet sitter! Alice was absolutely wonderful! So kind, attentive and clearly loves what she does. Throughout the stay we received plenty of updates and photos which helped us relax while we were away. It was so lovely seeing how happy and well cared for our puppy Chase was. She truly went above and beyond! Not only was our home left spotless but she even washed the bedsheets which we never expected and really appreciated. We’re so grateful for everything she’s done and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend! We’re very happy, thank you Alice!

About: Hi there, If you’re looking for reliable pet care, I’d love to help! 🐾 When you book through my Rover profile using the link below, you’ll receive £15 off your first booking: https://www.rover.com/sit/mariac89067 Just use the link to claim your discount and secure your dates. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Over the years, I’ve learned how to care for dogs of all kinds—not just the happy, healthy ones, but also those who need a little extra attention. I live with Evie, my beautiful Olde English Bulldog, who’s been by my side since she was a pup. She’s now 5 and full of personality. Evie’s had her own health ups and downs, so I understand how important it is to be patient, gentle, and responsive to a dog’s individual needs. She’s neutered, well-mannered, and used to being around other dogs. As a registered nurse and mum of two, I’m naturally attentive and nurturing, and I bring that same care into how I look after animals. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love spending time with them—whether it’s a cuddle on the sofa or a walk through the woods. I’m home most of the time, and with plenty of lovely walking spots nearby, I make sure dogs get fresh air, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I treat every dog like family—with love, patience, and a calm, safe environment where they can feel right at home. I currently work part-time, which means I have plenty of free time to devote to your pup’s needs. My flexible routine allows for long walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles throughout the day. I’m available for boarding both during weekdays and weekends, ensuring your dog has companionship and care while you’re away. Dogs truly fit into my everyday routine, as I'm used to building our day around Evie and her needs. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. Whether it’s keeping them on their routine, providing medication if needed, or giving them cosy spots to rest, I always prioritise their well-being. Your pup will be cared for as if they were my own—getting plenty of love, play, and attention in a calm, safe environment.

About: Animals are truly my passion, and caring for them is what I love most.
I hold a Level 3 Animal Care qualification and am currently completing a Level 3 Dog Grooming qualification, giving me strong knowledge of animal health, behaviour, and welfare. I share my life with two dogs who could not be more different—a rescue German Wire-Haired Pointer mix who can be nervous, and a KC-registered Beagle who is extremely confident. Caring for dogs with very different personalities has given me valuable experience in understanding individual needs, behaviour, and anxiety, and treating each pet with patience and compassion. I have experience caring for senior dogs, puppies, and dogs requiring extra attention. I have also worked at a luxury boarding kennels and volunteered at a veterinary clinic, which has strengthened my skills in safe handling, routine care, and recognising when an animal may need extra support. I offer dog walking and pet sitting because I find caring for animals incredibly rewarding. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently working part time so I am quite flexible with my availability for caring for your dogs. I am available for housesits both during the week and weekends. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. During walks, I carefully check that all leashes, harnesses, or collars are secure and only use equipment approved by you. I stay alert at all times, avoiding traffic, hazards, and stressful situations, and I tailor each walk to your dog’s age, energy level, and the weather. Dogs are walked individually or only with approved companions, and off-leash time is never allowed unless you have given clear permission. During drop-in visits, I make sure all doors, gates, and fences are secure, follow feeding, medication, and care instructions exactly as provided, check water, temperature, and overall wellbeing, and spend quality time offering attention, reassurance, and lots of love. I treat every dog as if they were my own and keep owners updated so you can feel confident your dog is safe and well cared for at all times.

I’m very grateful to Craig for looking after my rescue Spaniel, who can be a bit unpredictable especially when his routine is upset. I was able to go away for the weekend without worrying as I knew Craig could handle anything that came his way. I’ve already booked him to have Ted for two weeks later in the year! Thanks Craig (and Buddy!)

I would love to look after you family pet over the weekend as I work full time and don’t have time in the week for our own dog. I want to give me children the joy I had of having a dog around at times when we are free. I work full time so will be free on weekends to have dogs over either for the day or boarding for the whole weekend in our living family home I have a fully fenced garden, we currently have a lion head rabbit and he runs free when no dogs are with us. If there was a way to get out he would have found it! :)

About: I’ve had dog and other pets all my life, Labradors, shitzu, French bulldogs, and dachshunds and loved and cared for them all. I have a genuine commitment to compassionate, attentive care, especially for older dogs who need a little extra support. I have experience caring for senior pets, understanding their slower pace, mobility needs, and the comfort of familiar routines. I’m confident in administering medication safely and calmly, whether that’s tablets, liquids, or more specific care instructions. I take the time to build trust with each dog, ensuring they feel secure, relaxed, and truly cared for while you’re away. I currently work full time flexibly from home with regular breaks for walks and fusses. I tend to take my dog out twice a day. I have a fenced garden and secure home, walks often. I provide a calm, safe, and consistent environment whether pets are in my home or their own. In my home, I keep a clean, secure space with plenty of comfort, supervision, and enrichment, ensuring pets stick to a routine that suits their needs, including feeding schedules, walks, rest time, and play. I’m especially mindful of creating a low-stress environment for more sensitive or older dogs.

We were a little apprehensive about leaving Meg overnight, but she was clearly delighted to see Stephen again. As expected, he came fully prepared for his stay. He was very sympathetic to and accommodating of all her little idiosyncrasies and reassured us of her well being with photographs of her both at rest and play. We are all looking forward to seeing Stephen again over the summer.

I really can't recommend Antonia enough. This was the first time we have left our dog to go on holiday and we were quite nervous about it. Marshall had a fantastic time with Antonia and she sent daily pics of him out and about having a great time. We wouldn't hesitate booking with Antonia again.
