“Thank you so much to both of you for looking after our little boy at such short notice! I cannot thank you enough. Rudy was welcomed with open arms, into a lovely home, and cared for brilliantly. He’s quite an apprehensive dog when meeting new people, but he soon settled in, and as Jas told me, stealing the show! See you again soon! Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Animals are way better than humans! I am a very loving carer and owner of my two amazing pugs Gem and Jake and they are the best! I am a very active dog owner who is happy to take those short journeys for the little ones to the big walks for our more active fur babies. I have plenty of fenced back garden area for your beauts to play around. I have a good understanding of animal care and applying and administering medications. I have looked after pets (Mainly dogs) since being the age 18 and love every species of every living creature. ( No spiders get killed in my house) 🥰. I work from home part time and find I spend more time with my fur babies than actually work lol. They seriously make my day and my life revolves around my pets. I am happy and have enough room to accommodate up to two fur babies at the same time alongside my Fur babies. I spend all my spare time with my Gem and Jake and love them getting to socialise with other dogs too. I will send you regular videos and updates and I am happy to communicate with your selves on any questions. I also will come to your property for one hour visits to feed/walk your fur baby. I allow my pets free range of the house and my house is set up to accommodate this. I am happy for you to bring anything that will help your fur baby to settle and feel secure. We have a small dog flap and a high fenced secure back garden with plenty of space for your fur babies to run around and play.

I am readily available to accommodate your pet's specific routine, midday care needs, or short-notice booking requests. I offer dedicated pet care in the secure environment of your own home. For optimal safety and peace of mind, I request detailed instructions provided by you for both house rules and pet care routines. A brief initial walkthrough ensuring I know exactly where all food, medical, and care supplies are kept allows me to manage your pet's needs.

I’m particularly experienced with nervous and anxious pets and understand that some dogs thrive on quieter walks, extra reassurance and one-to-one attention. My priority is always to provide a positive, stress-free experience for your pets while giving you complete peace of mind that they’re in caring and reliable hands. I’m currently fully flexible and focusing on growing my pet care business, PlottPaw Adventure, full-time, allowing me to offer reliable and adaptable care for dogs and cats throughout the day 🐾 I specialise in calm, personalised pet care, including solo walks, drop-in visits, companionship visits, and one-to-one support, particularly for anxious, nervous, senior, or rescue pets 💚 Building trusted relationships with both pets and their owners is incredibly important to me, and I’m passionate about providing attentive, patient and dependable care tailored to each pet’s individual needs, routine and personality. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Over the years, I’ve learned how to care for dogs of all kinds—not just the happy, healthy ones, but also those who need a little extra attention. I live with Evie, my beautiful Olde English Bulldog, who’s been by my side since she was a pup. She’s now 5 and full of personality. Evie’s had her own health ups and downs, so I understand how important it is to be patient, gentle, and responsive to a dog’s individual needs. She’s neutered, well-mannered, and used to being around other dogs. As a registered nurse and mum of two, I’m naturally attentive and nurturing, and I bring that same care into how I look after animals. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love spending time with them—whether it’s a cuddle on the sofa or a walk through the woods. I’m home most of the time, and with plenty of lovely walking spots nearby, I make sure dogs get fresh air, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I treat every dog like family—with love, patience, and a calm, safe environment where they can feel right at home. I currently work part-time, which means I have plenty of free time to devote to your pup’s needs. My flexible routine allows for long walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles throughout the day. I’m available for boarding both during weekdays and weekends, ensuring your dog has companionship and care while you’re away. Dogs truly fit into my everyday routine, as I'm used to building our day around Evie and her needs. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. Whether it’s keeping them on their routine, providing medication if needed, or giving them cosy spots to rest, I always prioritise their well-being. Your pup will be cared for as if they were my own—getting plenty of love, play, and attention in a calm, safe environment.
“We couldn’t have asked for better care for our pup Sora. It’s hard to find the words to cover the attention he’s been given during house sitting. You can just tell that Craig and his team (thank you Jodie!) adore all animals. We would absolutely book them again.”

“Lisa was absolutely fantastic with our dog Bailey. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Bailey loved his stay, looked completely at home, and we could tell he was truly cared for. The regular updates while we were on holiday meant the world to us. We’d definitely rebook without hesitation.”

Thank you so much for looking after my fur babies so well. Would definitely recommend Antonia, she was so attentive and I feel went over and above to ensure my cats were happy whilst I was away. Loved all the updates and photos, really gave me assurance that they were being well looked after.

Lillian’s has been absolutely amazing from the very first time I messaged her, we received updates and photos of our doggies every day and whenever I messaged she got back to me quickly Ernie Luna and Albie has enjoyed all the cuddles kisses and all the lovely walks they have been on. I would 100% use Lilliana again such a lovely lady and trust her completely.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cannock Chase choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
