“Darryl was absolutely incredible! So easy going, good sense of humour and a real professional! Can see he absolutely loves animal's and brings clam and positive energy to your home. I have very high maintenance indoor cats and one that’s extremely nervous! So to be sent photos of them playing and sitting with him was everything! 🥹 My house was spotless when I got back! So grateful! I have already booked Darryl again for the summer as I wouldn’t want to miss out on having him! The peace of mind is everything! Knowing the cats were happy and the house was looked after! Thank you Darryl, you are a star! ⭐️”

“Chi was so lovely, warm and friendly clearly loves dogs , Lenny warmed to her straight away on arrival. She followed the instructions that I left perfectly will certainly book again . Thank you x”

“Natalia was wonderful with our dog, Sherlock. She did the things that we told her would help put him at ease and he warmed up to her quicker than he would normally with new people. She was great with communication, updating us regularly with pictures was very professional with the booking process. We’ll definitely be using her again - thanks Natalia! :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was young. Life would be so boring and completely pointless if it wasn’t for these beautiful furry friends! I have experience walking groups of dogs and looked after 3 dogs for a whole week whilst home sitting. Best week ever. I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to be there for whatever they need. I love walks so taking a furry friend will be a breeze. My home provides a calm, secure environment with space, cleanliness, routine, and constant supervision, ensuring any animal’s safety, comfort, enrichment, and well-being at all times.
About: I've basically grown up surrounded by paws and wagging tails - there's been a dog in my life since before I was even born! I adopted my two golden fur babies from different families, and they're now living the royal life back home in India with my family while I study overseas. I miss them every single day, so spending time with other dogs here would make me so happy. I've got around 22 years of experience with dogs and a lifetime of love (and slobbery kisses). If you ask me whether I'm a dog or cat person - honestly, I'd pet a crocodile if it dont think I am food! 🐾♥️ “I’m usually available from 2 PM to 10 PM, and sometimes till around 11:30 PM if I don’t have early classes or assignment deadlines. I’m doing my post-grad right now, so my schedule can change a bit depending on unisveristy ~ This isn’t just a job for me — I really love being around animals and taking care of them I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets are treated like family. I follow their routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure at all times
About: Hi! My name is Rosie and I'm 30. I work at a the deputy CEO of a charity and live in the Jewellery Quarter. My family had a cat and dog throughout my entire childhood and adolescence, as well as a range of other pets, and I was often pet and house sitting for local families. I'm a huge animal lover and have experience of looking after a number of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs etc. The past few years I have been a cat sitter for friends locally and a number of people on Cat in a Flat, as well as dog sitting for friends and colleagues. I can understand how difficult it can be leaving your furry friends when going away, so rest assured they would be well looked after in my care. I can also offer other small duties such as collecting post, watering plants, taking bins out etc. If you have other pets that may need taking care of this may be possible upon discussion and extra cost :)
“Wivi looked after our Lurcher when we were away for about a week and did a great job! She kept us updated with photos and videos of their adventures and was always quick to respond. Thanks again, Wivi!”

“Ben looked after my Ragdoll kitten, Maverick, overnight during a busy bank holiday weekend, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I could tell Maverick had been really well looked after; he was calm, happy, and clearly enjoyed the company. My apartment was also absolutely spotless when I returned, which was such a lovely bonus to come home to. Thank you so much, Ben! Genuinely top-notch care and attention. Highly recommend!”

“Linke was an absolutely wonderful catsitter for our two cats! She took fantastic care of them and they felt comfortable and happy around her really quickly (even our very nervous cat!). They were in very safe hands with Linke and we absolutely recommend her to anyone ☺️🌸✨”

“Aleksandra did a brilliant job when looking after my rescue dog Freddie. My husband and I have used her twice now for sitting and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Freddie was cared for brilliantly and our house left clean and tidy which was really appreciated. He quickly settled and soon accepted fuss from Aleksandra. From the updates and photos shared we could see Freddie had lots of fun with walks and play too which was lovely to see while we were away. So glad to have found Aleksandra as a sitter 😊”

“Tatiana is absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend her! She took great care of my dog Evie and spoiled her with lots of cuddles and walks. Evie seemed super happy when we came back. Tatiana gives updates frequently and appropriately and is very responsive to messages. Could not have been any better”

About: I have spent my life surrounded by animals, and I cannot imagine it any other way. Over the years I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, parrots, turtles, fish, sheep, and many others. Each one has taught me something new, and that range of experience has made me a calm, observant, and adaptable carer. I have a particular soft spot for dogs. I see them as gentle, loyal little companions who give so much love so freely, and I believe they deserve to be cared for with patience, respect, and genuine attention. Because animals cannot use words, I pay close attention to their behaviour, body language, habits, and small changes in mood. To me, this is how real trust is built. A formative experience for me was caring for a rescue Corgi who had a limb amputation. Over two years with her, I came to understand how much consistency, gentle handling, and emotional reassurance can mean to an animal who has been through difficulty. I never consider myself an expert, because every animal continues to teach me more. I currently share my home with two cats, and I have experience with small and exotic pets, including a wonderfully long-lived hamster. I am comfortable following detailed feeding routines, keeping food and litter areas clean, giving medication when needed, and sending regular photo updates so you can feel reassured while you are away. What matters most to me is simple: your pet should feel safe, loved, and understood, and your home should be treated with the same care and respect I would give my own. I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to your pet’s routine. I’m available for both short-term and long-term care—feel free to get in touch anytime. I maintain a calm, clean environment, follow routines carefully, monitor behavior, and provide updates. In owners’ homes, I respect their space and pets’ familiar habits.
About: Hello! My name is Vanda and I have been taking care of cats and dogs since from an early age. I am an animal lover and I love to see them happy and comfortable. Currently I don't work full-time so I have plenty of time to play and care for your pet. I am available during week days as well as weekends. I will be sending frequent updates with pictures and videos too :) - I have my own cat, Yuki. She is neutered and vaccinated. She is a bit shy at first but can easily adapt to other friendly cats in case you need boarding. - In case of boarding, your cat will have access to all divisions in the flat and it's cat prepared. Lots of toys and a cat tree to keep him/her entertained, safe access to windows to watch "cat tv", litter box scooped every single use, food and water bowls regularly changed and in a safe place. I have also a supply of treats that I'm gladly to share with your cat. - For drop in visits and house sitting, I will clean bowls and refill them with food and water. I will clean litter boxes, pick up poo and clean other mess your pet might have done. I will also play with your pet if he's feeling playful, lots of cuddles if he enjoys it and give him some treats :)

I’m comfortable giving them lots of love, keeping their space clean, and understanding their unique little personalities. On top of that, I have light hands on experience from helping in a reptile store and a bird store, which gave me basic knowledge and confidence around a variety of animals, from snakes and lizards to parrots and budgies. I’m always willing to learn more about different types of pets and their specific care needs. exploring my next steps in the animal care field. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and I’m now looking to build more hands on experience while figuring out where I want to go long-term, I’m currently available full time and pretty flexible so whether it’s short notice, overnight stays, or longer term house sits, I’ve got the time and commitment to make sure your pets and home are well looked after. I have two indoor cats of my own that I care for daily, Their care is fully handled at home, which means I’m still completely available for house sitting including overnight and longer stays. Sticking to the routine & any special measures the owner has let me know is my best interest & to make sure indefinitely that their home is kept clean & cozy, while keeping up with regular updates & photos

About: I have worked within a canine nutritionalist and behaviourist establishment for a year before it shuts down, moving to an alpaca farm. Here I take care for the owners dogs, cats and Alpacas, managing medications, behavioural issues and diets aswell as training young puppies and baby alpacas. I'm currently in university so am free any day of the week excluding Tuesdays and Fridays. I prefer to work with a couple days prior knowledge of bookings but I can work last minute walks if this planning isn't possible I have worked in a canine behaviourist establishment in which we held monthly organised dog walks, many times I was in charge of leading and planning this event. I am familiar with many different training methods and am flexible to using each one due to the needs of both the dog and owner I am working with. I have a working cocker spaniel which I trained myself to a gun dog standard from a puppy, I also own 2 cats (15 and 4) who all get along very well with one another aswell as with the dog. I prefer to use training methods of positive reinforcement and relationship building however if needed I can adapt to different training methods (no physical reprocussions) depending on a pets needs and preferences. Additionally we also added another cocker spaniel puppy to out house who is currently in training with me. Meaning I am familiar with different training and desensitisation techniques for younger dogs aswell as advocating for older animal happiness and health on my walks
“This girl is simply amazing, she was able to memorise a hell of a lot of information in such a short amount of time and she took care of my darling cats the best way possible not to mention that she is extremely accommodating as well. My cats also loved her which is a massive thing in and on it’s own. I will be booking her again for sure and I would definitely recommend her. Worth every penny.”

Nicole was great from the offset, communicative and friendly. She kept us updated when we were away and a number of our neighbours and fellow dog owners have said how friendly - and good with our dog - she was when they met in the park with the dogs. She minded our dog through a night of thunder and did so getting little sleep but keeping her comfortable! The house was spotless when we returned. We look forward to hopefully working with Nicole again!

Mani looked after my ragdoll, Maverick, while I was away and honestly I couldn’t have asked for more. Came back to a spotless apartment and a very happy cat! He played with Maverick every day and sent updates without being asked. The bit that I loved the us most was that he ask me if he could introduce him to his two dogs (both lovely, properly well behaved). I of course said yes, because I wanted him to know other animals. Maverick was cautious at first, but actually grew to trust them, which is amazing. Would book Mani again without thinking twice!

Linke was an absolutely wonderful catsitter for our two cats! She took fantastic care of them and they felt comfortable and happy around her really quickly (even our very nervous cat!). They were in very safe hands with Linke and we absolutely recommend her to anyone ☺️🌸✨

Alma was absolutely lovely - I warmed to her as soon as I opened the door. She was brilliant at looking after Hugo and was very careful to follow our suggestions of how to look after him. I felt very safe with her and Hugo had a wonderful day. We will definitely invite Alma back and really look forward to seeing her again.

Benjamin looked after our toy poodle Darcy for a week. He gave her all her medication needed took her on walks and also gave her plenty of cuddles and sent lots of updates. We had never used a dog sitter before so Darcy had some separation anxiety, however Benjamin preserved and put Darcy and us at ease. He left our house clean and tidy. Would recommend him as a dog sitter and would use again!

Frida was absolutely amazing! She kept me reassured the entire time with consistent morning and evening updates, and was quick to flag any issues or concerns straight away. She truly went above and beyond, spoiling my little boy with plenty of playtime, treats, and cuddles. I was away for two weeks, the longest we’ve ever been apart, so I was initially very anxious about leaving him with a stranger, but Frida made the whole experience so much easier. Waking up each morning to a photo or video of my little boy was such a comforting way to start the day. I can’t recommend Frida highly enough! 🤍 🐾 🐈⬛

Anthony did an amazing job! I'm really thankful to him. I love my dog, but she isn't socialized, and Anthony came by 16 times, almost every weekday, to get her used to him. At the end, I could travel with peace of mind that my dog would be in good hands! During my trip, we kept in touch, and he updated me on everything with photos and videos. I highly recommend his service!

We can’t recommend Anita highly enough! She stepped in at the very last minute after we were unexpectedly let down by another sitter, and she was an absolute lifesaver. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, kind, and incredibly loving towards our three Fox Ref Labradors and our Cavachon. It was clear straight away that she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. She gave them daily walks, lots of attention and affection, and kept them happy and settled while we were away. We really appreciated the daily updates, which gave us complete peace of mind. She also left our home clean and tidy, which was such a lovely touch. The boys absolutely adored her, and we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to use her again. Thank you, Anita, for being so caring and dependable, you truly went above and beyond!💖

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this wonderful woman! She took care of my cats like they were her own, kept me updated constantly and took away ALL the anxiety I had about hiring a cat sitter! This was my first time using Rover and Nikki was spectacular! She was super interactive with them and gave them so much love and attention I couldn’t ask for more. I had no issues whatsoever and neither did the kitties! Thank you so very much again Nikki I’ll give them a cuddle for you :))

Well what can I say about Alison. Booked her service for the first time, oh my word she didn’t disappoint. Rather she impressed me beyond my expectations. She was so down to earth eager to learn about the dog and made sure to dot the i’s and cross the t’s. Though Hunter is such a big dog she was so comfortable with him and Hunter not for a moment stressed out with her. I’ll defo recommend her for any type and size of dog she’ll do a great job. She loves animals in general which is reflecting in her job. Many thanks Allison for taking good care of Hunter, look forward to seeing you soon to sit for Hunter. Regards! Vik.

Hannah did a wonderful job looking after our old dog Terza, for which we are very grateful. She is a lovely person, and we were very happy to hand over the key when she visited us a few days before the dog sit. While we were away she sent us regular updates with photos, and all was fine when we got home. We will definitely be contacting her again next time we need a dog sitter. Thanks again Hannah!

I’m so glad we were able to book with Natalia. She’s an absolute gem with Diesel. Diesel is a big boy and I felt at ease knowing she comfortable with him. She checked in regularly and sent photos to let us know Diesel was happy and well taken care of. I’m very pleased with her services and look forward to next time. Can’t recommend her enough!
