About: I am an experienced and highly reliable pet sitter with many years of experience from both having my own pets and caring for other people's dogs and cats (and the odd tortoise!). About: I have spent my life surrounded by animals, and I cannot imagine it any other way. Over the years I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, parrots, turtles, fish, sheep, and many others. Each one has taught me something new, and that range of experience has made me a calm, observant, and adaptable carer. I have a particular soft spot for dogs. A formative experience for me was caring for a rescue Corgi who had a limb amputation. I never consider myself an expert, because every animal continues to teach me more. I currently share my home with two cats, and I have experience with small and exotic pets, including a wonderfully long-lived hamster. About: I've taken care of dogs in and out for my whole life. I'd often help my Grandma with her Jack Russells whenever she couldn't, for example if she needed to go and out and they were ill or were in need of feeding. She had them for as long as I had known her and were pretty old. My hours are really flexible and so I can be available at any time to take care of them, I don't struggle much with transport either.
