About: I’ve always been around dogs (mainly German shepards and cocker spaniels) so I’m used to bigger dogs. I enjoy teaching new tricks and have even taught my cat tricks! I’m currently training to be a teacher so during the summer holidays I’m free most days/times - however, I am usually busy Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm -11:30pm. If you’re interested or would like to book a different time, please just ask and I’ll see what I can do! I’ll make sure to follow any instructions given to ensure that your pup gets the best care possible and, they feel comfortable with their normal routines.

About: I have been caring for animals as long as I can remember. My mother was a Kennel Club breeder when I was little so I learned to care for pups from a young age. Today, I have two dogs and a cat of my own, and I frequently pet sit for my friends and family. Because of this, I truly understand the trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. My background gives me a deep understanding of animal health and comfort. I attended an RSPCA veterinary summer school, where I studied anatomy and observed surgeries, which helps me spot when a pet is unwell. I also have hands-on experience helping a neighbor with her grooming business, learning how to keep different breeds calm and comfortable. I promise to provide a quiet, safe, and dependable environment for your pet, following their usual routines. Whether they need medical attention, a peaceful walk, or just a quiet companion, I will care for them with the same patience and love I give my own. As my exams are finishing up, I am fully open and flexible for summer pet sitting! Because I am on summer break, I can dedicate my days and nights to your pets and adapt entirely to their usual routines.I am happy to be at your house as much as you need me to keep your pets company. I do return to my own home briefly to care for my own pets, or pop out for errands, but I will always prioritize your pet's schedule and never leave them alone longer than we agree on. My weekends are mostly open, though I have a few pre-planned camping trips and holidays over the summer, which will always be marked off on my Rover calendar well in advance. Safety and peace of mind are my top priorities when staying in your home. I ensure all doors and gates remain fully secure, keep dogs strictly leashed on walks, and follow your house rules exactly. I build trust by sending regular photo updates so you know your pets are happy and settled. My RSPCA veterinary summer school training helps me quickly spot if an animal is unwell or uncomfortable. Before your trip, I always note down your vet’s details and emergency contacts.

About: I’ve had pets all my adult life. I’ve mainly owned cats (even though they really own you), but I’ve had rabbits too. I also regularly look after family and friends dogs for them while they are away. I’m partially retired and only work a few hours a week so I can easily spend as much time as you need me to with your fur or fur babies. About: I currently have an Italian Greyhound and previously we had a family dog from a rescue. My sister has 3 dogs and when they go away I look after them (a Bedlington whippet cross and 2 black labs) I currently freelance for a delivery company so my schedule is fully flexible, any time of day I can come over and chill with your pet, take them for walks, let them out for a wee etc. Whatever you want I have a fenced garden with a little Italian Greyhound, my sister has a larger outdoor space and when I sit for them I take them on walks, I let the 2 well trained labs off lead (plus my iggy) but not her Bedlington Whippet as she tends to get "distracted"

About: I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs and have owned a cat for the past 9 years. Over the last 10 years, I’ve regularly looked after pets for family, friends, neighbours and colleagues, including daily visits, feeding, playtime, overnight stays and keeping pets company while owners are away. I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs and cats with different personalities and routines, including more nervous or independent pets. I always aim to provide calm, reliable and attentive care, and I’m happy to send regular photo updates for peace of mind while you’re away. I work in Birmingham during the week, so I’m available for early morning visits before work and longer visits after work in the evenings, usually up to around an hour. On weekends, I’m much more flexible and can do visits at any time, longer stays, or overnight care if needed. I’m very active, so I’m more than happy to take dogs on long walks, play with pets, keep them company, or just make sure they’re fed and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll be caring for pets in their own homes, as I feel this is the most comfortable and familiar environment for them. I also have my own cat, Kymba, so I wouldn’t want to bring other animals into the house and make her feel unsettled. I always try to stick closely to your pet’s normal routine and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to send regular photo updates too for peace of mind.

About: Hi, I'm Soph and I absolutely adore animals! Having grown up surrounded by them my entire life, I am extremely experienced, qualified and confident in looking after them. As an empath, I care deeply about their welfare and I have a fur-baby of my own, a four year old tuxedo cat named Kiara who means the absolute world to me. Aside from pet sitting a variety of different breeds over the years, I have had 4 dogs of my own alongside my aforementioned cat, all of which have been rescue dogs of all ages and mixed breeds. I also have experience taking care of rabbits and Guinea pigs. I understand how important it is to recognise and attend to each animal’s individual personality traits and I have first hand experience and knowledge when it comes to taking care of all sorts, so rest assured, your fur babies will be in good hands! Our cat enjoyed all the cuddles and the opportunity to go outside on her harness - it was really reassuring to know that she had someone checking in on her who spent time making sure she was happy. Food bowl and water were consistently checked and topped up as needed, and litter tray was also checked and dealt with as well. About: As a proud cat owner and experienced dog carer, I understand how important it is to feel completely confident leaving your pet with someone else. While I haven’t owned a dog recently, I regularly care for friends’ dogs and am comfortable with a range of personalities and needs. I currently work on a 7-14 shift pattern, so I am available during weekends and week days where needed and almost most hours. I provide a secure, pet-friendly environment with a high, fully enclosed fence to ensure dogs can play and explore safely. Gates are kept closed and checked regularly, and I’m always mindful of surroundings during walks to avoid busy roads or potential hazards. Indoors, I make sure the space is calm, clean, and free from anything that could pose a risk. Whether your pet is energetic or a little more cautious, I create a safe, structured environment where they can feel relaxed and comfortable.

About: Experienced and trained with all dog breeds, from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs. I live in a quiet and relaxed home with no restrictions, offering comfort and peace I work part-time within the NHS Wednesday to Friday, I can offer boarding from Friday evenings until Wednesday mornings. Services will be offered full-time when I'm on leave. I have a fully secure back garden, with no restrictions, your beloved dogs will be lovingly treated as one of our family always . About: My experience with fostering pets started several years ago, when my friend found a 1-month-old kitten on the street and rescued it, but was unable to keep it in her home, so she asked me to foster until we find him a permanent home. I named the little guy Simba (original, I know!) and took care of him for 3 months before finding him a permanent, loving home. Since then, I have been housesitting dogs, cats, and even rabbits. I am studying remotely at Open University, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets, cuddle them and take them for walks. I care for pets in their own home by following their usual routines to keep them happy, comfortable, and stress-free. I start by learning all about their needs—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special instructions. I make sure to keep their environment clean, safe, and familiar. I also give them lots of love, attention, and affection, always respecting their personality—whether they’re shy and quiet or playful and energetic. I’ll regularly update you with photos and messages, so you know your pet is in great hands while you're away.

About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I can remember. Having been raised around dogs of all sizes, and my family’s love for having many cats at home, I have accumulated years of experience from home alone. This includes pets with special requirements, and those who just prefer more attention to others! I grew up spending most of my time at my uncles farm, spending a lot of time with his farm animals and sheep dogs. I have volunteered frequently at Stourbridge cat rescue over the years, and having 6 of my own at home, the care required came naturally to me. I currently study full-time at university, however my schedule is very flexible! I have filtered my availability to show for this, so any days you see free means I am able to accommodate to your pet full-time or whenever required! As someone with pets of my own and an understanding of how clumsy some pets can be, I can ensure that I will keep a permanent eye on your pet during sittings- and that all small objects are kept away and doors/ windows are checked frequently. Personally, my dog loves to sprint out the door whenever he hears the handle go, so I have mastered how to leave the house without any flight-risk. Any special requests shall be adhered to also.

“Melanie looked after our two cats whilst we were away on holiday and she did an incredible job. I received daily updates via the Rover report cards as well as photos each day. This was so reassuring and lovely to see. I completely trusted Mel and her ability to care for the boys whilst we were away. Mel also gave Simba daily medication and at the end of the week I received a photo of the daily medication log which confirmed he had received his tablet at what time each day. Mel went above and beyond in her duties, one day returning for a second visit, to check on Simba as he had been sick one day.
