“sophie was amazing! she sent us picture updates of our boy jim multiple times within the day she was there showing us how happy he was! we were nervous leaving him as he has a lot of quirks and also hurt his leg the day before we were due to go away (typical) but sophie was so wonderful and kept us updated and let us know how his wound was doing and made sure he wasn’t licking it! we will definitely be using sophie when we next go away!”

About: My family have always had dogs since I was born. We currently have an 18 month old cocker spaniel who I have trained from a pup successfully. I have also dog sat for family members and friends I’m currently working full time in the week. But can do pop in visits on evenings / over night stays on the weekends. About: I’ve been a dog lover for most of my life, so much so I’m allergic to them and have two of my own! I’d pick dogs over humans any day, There is no warmth like a dogs💌. I am currently off my main job for the summer so my current routine is fairly flexible! I can work around you. On a day-to day basis when it’s not Summer, I’m still pretty flexible with enough communication. I have an interest in dogs behaviour and pride myself on the training I have completed with my own. About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I can remember. Having been raised around dogs of all sizes, and my family’s love for having many cats at home, I have accumulated years of experience from home alone. This includes pets with special requirements, and those who just prefer more attention to others! I grew up spending most of my time at my uncles farm, spending a lot of time with his farm animals and sheep dogs. I have volunteered frequently at Stourbridge cat rescue over the years, and having 6 of my own at home, the care required came naturally to me. I currently study full-time at university, however my schedule is very flexible! I have filtered my availability to show for this, so any days you see free means I am able to accommodate to your pet full-time or whenever required! As someone with pets of my own and an understanding of how clumsy some pets can be, I can ensure that I will keep a permanent eye on your pet during sittings- and that all small objects are kept away and doors/ windows are checked frequently. Personally, my dog loves to sprint out the door whenever he hears the handle go, so I have mastered how to leave the house without any flight-risk. Any special requests shall be adhered to also.

About: I run a loving and friendly, fully council-licenced home from home dog boarding facility from my Victorian home called Thirlmere House! As well as being licenced and fully insured, I hold a Level Three Qualification in Professional Day Care and Boarding, meaning I'm fully qualified in all aspects of caring for dogs in a boarding setting. We are rated 5 star by licensing authorities. I am fully home-based, so able to company and care for your dog seven days a week. I only leave the home for short periods when I pop to the shops. Otherwise, the dogs are with me on a country walk or a park and cafe pitstop! I offer a complete home from home dog boarding service. Dogs live with us at Thirlmere House as though they are our own dog. Owners must provide bedding and food for their dogs stay, but the rest is down to us!
