I care for pets in their own home by following their usual routines to keep them happy, comfortable, and stress-free. I start by learning all about their needs—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special instructions. I make sure to keep their environment clean, safe, and familiar. I also give them lots of love, attention, and affection, always respecting their personality—whether they’re shy and quiet or playful and energetic. I’ll regularly update you with photos and messages, so you know your pet is in great hands while you're away.

My experience with fostering pets started several years ago, when my friend found a 1-month-old kitten on the street and rescued it, but was unable to keep it in her home, so she asked me to foster until we find him a permanent home. I named the little guy Simba (original, I know!) and took care of him for 3 months before finding him a permanent, loving home. Since then, I have been housesitting dogs, cats, and even rabbits.

Kate has been amazing with Tetley. He is old and quite complex in many ways and I was really worried he would be anxious and difficult but Kate managed him really well and looked after our home too! Would highly recommend Kate and would definitely book her again to look after Tetley. She gave medication and care and when we arrived home he was happy and looked well. He has been going to the door and barking, on occasion, since we came back and I think he is waiting for her 🥲 Thank you Kate for allowing us to have a lovely 10 day holiday and relax knowing he was in safe hands :)
Kate did an amazing job with my elderly German Shepherd Mac. They got on great from the start, and she also administered his medication. Kate looked after my house and I’d have no hesitation booking her again!
Feel very lucky to have found Kate. I have never left Mabel with anyone else before. Kate was very patient with Mabel and followed her lead.
Kate was great with Shelby and Shelby was very happy and settled when we got back after two weeks Will very happily book her again to look after Shelby
